Panda Express pays me EXTREMELY good and treats me very well. I love this franchise and appreciate all they have done for me
this panda express is located on walnut grove in rosemead, California . its literally right next door to corporate headquarters. there are a lot of asians working at this panda express because rosemead has a huge asian population. this chain is also cleaner because im sure since its nest to headquarters, they receive suprise visits more often from upper management.

Actually, most stores get surprise visits from upper management, and all stores are and should be cleaned thoroughly everyday.

I currently work for a Panda Express and pretty much everything in this video is correct, we really do deep scrub the floors and mop the walls

At my hometown one they hose down the restaurant. Table, chairs, floor, buffet. Just hosed everything down. Never ate there again.

Can somebody who works at Panda tell me if they cook the meats from raw? Or, do they precook the meats in batches, and take it out of fridge whenever they need to make a dish?
meat is pre-packaged and raw. it is taken out when we need to make more.

Trust me when I say this is the most glorified video of Panda Express ever. I’m a current worker and the wage is a lowball for the amount of work you have to do. In our restaurant everything is broken. You never get breaks and we usually don’t leave until 12 or 1 am :)

I know this is a fast food restaurant but how is this not authentic they are cutting up fresh vegetables, cooking fresh meat and so on also they have asian cooks. Panda Express is delicious its authentic to me.
They aren't authentic chinese recipes or cuisine but it is authentic chinese-american. And that's fine. The same way much beloved new york pizzas arent authentic italian cuisine but they are authentic italian-american foods.

The very few times I've eaten at a PE the food has been there for hours and it's dry and tastes like crud. I picked up the chicken pot stickers which had an hard shell and were completely disgusting.
Lmao no Panda I’ve worked at (3 locations) has ever had even 50% of that staff size.
This particular one is close to the corporate HQ in Rosemead, California. So it's obviously gonna be much busier than your average Panda.

steadfast510 it's not a mop it's a cleaning tool that is only used for cleaning the kitchen and has a flat scrubber on the end of it
He was cleaning the walls with the wok because the wok heats up the solution making the walls easier to clean... you guys have obviously had no knowledge whatsoever of Panda Express...
