Pretty cool set up. I don't think it'll fit the hummer. But I like it!

I am glad your are getting stuff from the industry to try out. That means your channel is getting out there. Congratulations, you deserve it.

That booth would be perfect inside of a large shop. Not sure I’d care to have it outside blowing around and getting too hot

My only concern of this setup would be what if there is a power outage of the compressor stops. Will it all come down and deflate like bounce houses sometimes do? Could you imagine?! Nicely freshly painted car and it all deflated onto it.

      Definitely a concern!

@@ElectricSuperCar maybe if this was my go to setup I’d at least have 4 PVC self standing poles for each corner. Maybe that would patent a cave in. Still cool setup.

Looks very nice for the price, your getting pretty good at spray painting. Car is looking great. I like that color.

My first, and last question was the price. Because as long as the paint booth does its job well, it has a tangible value. I looked the price up from your link, and the price(s) seemed reasonable. Of course the price varied with size, as you would expect. But especially if you were planning on doing a thorough job and/or multiple paint jobs, you could easily justify the price compared to the DIY version (which also had its merits/limits). It seems to me that they should make an indoor/outdoor model that secures in the middle to a standard 16' garage door opening, and has the indoor side which is cooler, and is unaffected by wind and sun, and the outdoor side, which extends your space for the staging, storage, tools, and items that you would want in-booth access, but would be less affected by wind and heat. And they might want to add an extra fan for a push-pull exhaust system. As well as a top down, fresh ventilated air tube/mask for breathing. Just brainstorming. Thanks for adding this demonstration as a working follow-up to your DIY booth video.

Just out of curiosity... did you first see that inflatable paint booth watching Mike Patey's Scrappy build series? If not, I highly recommend it.

If you had a car in there, were just done and the air blower that inflates the thing would quit working, well, you'd lose the whole paint job and it would be a mess. Not sure with no other structures than the air pressure that it's worth anything really. Or can it keep the pressure while the fan is off?

Could you set it up in the garage, does it fit? If so, then it would be cooler and the wind wouldn't be an issue either.

Hey Jeremy glad it worked out, how about if you put the paint booth in your garage?

So that's where the inflatable booth came from... shame it isn't waterproof.

I tried to use my inflatable paint booth last 4th of July in Houston. I tapped out when it reached 188F inside the booth, it’s a greenhouse effect. Booth worked fine when I used it again in November. The other problem is they are pressurized instead of vacuum cleared, so the clear coat creates a huge fog if you do a big job. I’m going to try and make an elephant trunk hooked up to big blowers to pull the overspray out.
You can buy much bigger booths, I put a long bed F150 inside mine.

Hey friend! My setup is for one motor that powers both rear wheels. Are you wanting one motor per wheel? Or dual motor (front, rear) ?

    • @Ericevijayohiani

I had one and gave it away to my painter. They are great for under $1K. You will really like it I think. I would build better filters for incoming air.

Color looks great I saw your car in another video from holly high voltage.
If you have enough clear on there cut and buff it. If not get more on for that show car finish.

why didn't you use the air exchange blower, was it unnecessary? amazing video as always

    • @ElectricSuperCar
      @ElectricSuperCar  2 роки тому

Not sure I understand the question. I used both the inflator blower and the ventilation blower. I would frequently no use the ventilation blower when I was not painting (filming)

That is a supper smart idea to pour you paint out of the can.
