does anyone know how long the moustache parrot nesting phase lasts. my sweet natured moustache parrot has turned into the most evil nipping monster going and constantly wants to nest
It's tricky, it varies on the bird and their natural tendencies and environment. Brando likes to nest a lot as well! Maybe others can respond below more in depth!
@@MARLENEMCCOHEN thanks for the reply. I have a similar pair to your birbs. The moustache parrot looks just like Brando and is female. She shares a cage with a male ringneck (a yellow peril). He is very caring to the moustache parrot and the moustache parrot hen pecks him just like your Brando does. When I watch videos of Brando and the ringneck, its just like watching my two horrors. I suspect the nesting behaviour will last about a month and she will calm down again.
