@@mtb_ianek Is this the same track you were sending me photo's of last fall?! :D SC? I'm so stoked to shred it and if I can help you finish it, let me know :D. I'm more than stoked and happy to help brother! YEEWWWW!!!! :D \m/
I really think this feature needs a name after the builder. Eric was saying that he erected the rock excitedly over and over so ...how about the “Eric’d rock jump”?
Come A-Rock would be a good name. For the guys coming along to help and for your come along winch that played a big role in moving the rock 🪨 in the perfect position for a sweet jump.🤟
your videos are so entertaining and fun to watch and even through we are not in lock down over here in NZ I still get bored sometimes and you inspired me to go out and build some trails of my own. I am also filming them and posting them on my channel. I am planning on making a drop like the Yukan do it drop because it just looked so cool and so much fun to create. so thank you
Few years back my friend and I moved a couple big rocks of about that size with an old sign post as a lever and smaller rocks to prop it up every little move. Took us two days but made them go where we wanted, improving the trail greatly. He just died a month ago. Miss the guy. Glad for the memories. Mahalo nui loa Lawai. .
"Mike's Help Huck" , "Mike's Boulder Bump" , "Mike's Huck Helper" , "Mike's Boulder Booster"..... Gotta immortalize Mike as the random right guy to ....come-a-long....at the right time!
trail building is a lot of work, back breaking, time consuming and time away from family and biking. Mostly, it can be lonely. I appreciate your dedication and giving back to the MTB community. From one trail builder to another, you are my hero sir. I don't have much but I just joined your Patreon.
I really appreciate you making these videos, Eric! Really fun to watch and also inspiring. I want to get out there and build something of my own one of these days.
Beautiful work. I wished there was such parks and places to convert it into mountain bike park or a trail park.😊 I just love watching both of your videos❤️
Nice Teal jacket as well. looking great and continue to allow Trees to grow. I will encourage maybe in the future if theres trees that end up growing in the way is it as like tree ramp. Kind of like a treehouse but instead of a house just do a ramp so like have th ramp connected with the tree
The way the rock is positioned together with the shape, it looks like a Turtle's head coming out of its shell, especially when you're approaching it. "Turtle Head" sounds as good as any.
Excellent video, seeing what you do where I live we will do something similar with the roads, mountain biking a great sport, greetings from Mexico I hope you can return soon. 🇲🇽
That's really impressive. I have the prefect slab out side my house that just needs to be rotated a bit, gonna see how much that tool costs me in Chile lol. Hope you get rid of some of the dead vegetation soon. Not a nice place to land if you slip and they're also just a fire hazard. Plus free wood
Soooo, there are you...on your own... In the middle in the forest... And the rain is pouring down...and suddenly 2 strangers appear out of nowhere, helping you digging out this heavy rock. 🤔 Is this a Canadian thing, or what? 😆
When its wet it becomes the Slicker Kicker.
Ya
Neck breaker
good name
Name it rock n roll
@@paulac424 fair point for when dry
You should name it after the nice stranger that helped you. Something like "The Mike Spike"
Nice
I recon rock n roll to
I think the "sendona rock" because its a taste of sedona trail where they use rock in the trail so much
@@paulac424 maybe if he adds the option to roll it, then it would be perfect.
That’s Canada for ya
Yes good idea
Name it “Not Too Slabby”!!!

Mad respect for even working in such cold weather!!
How about "the coast guard kicker"
Your the only UA-cam I’ll drop almost anything for
“Bottle Rocket” bottle for the bottle-jack and rocket for it being a rock! Love ur vids BCpov
Oh wow!!! Thank you for choosing ‘Can’t Cedar Landing’ for your previous feature. I’m absolutely stoked. Love you videos Eric, keep them coming.
Nicely done Eric. I too, served in the coast guard (am now retired and ride mtb). I will say that CG sailors know a little bit about everything. 😀
I think the "Come-along Stoner" would be a great fit for it
💯 Checked the comments before seeing your jump name....I thought the same name but you bet me too it! 👏👏👏
Love these Videos! SOOOOO SIIIIIIICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Jack Frost Rock - used a jack on cold, frosty days to move that rock into position.
As a trail builder, I have alot of respect for your efforts,,its damn hard work!! kuddos!
Grate job on the trail
My favorite parts of the video are the time lapse of you digging. Good video!
I love seeing the progression on this trail! It's coming together so sick, I'm so stoked to see the finished trail! Keep up the good work! :D \m/
yo, it made me think about my unfinished trail, can't wait for April!

I like the name “Colder Boulder Finger-Folder” after not only the cold weather but the danger of moving the rock.
This... its perfect
That’s a good name
YES
I think the pop rock sounds just right for it. Love the work you have out in to making your trail.
I love the new personal trail building style of video!
Much respect to you guys after watching this. Just imagine the efforts to make the trails safe and awesome to ride.
You know what I like about you? You sound so positive it just makes me happy!

What an amazing idea I didnt think of that! Great work on the jump, your trail is really coming along!
I am working on trails in Lansing Iowa, many hours by myself, you give me great inspiration to do more, bigger, better.
Love watching these great videos. I would name this new feature the Single Rock Pyramid

You're a badass BCPOV, working in sub-zero weather. Dang!! Committed to the craft! Impressive!

Awesome vid. I never thought about how hard and dangerous moving that size rock was in the back country. Respect!
Great work!
I love following you two, this Grounded Grandpa is getting back out on the trails!

Eric, you’re a legend and an inspiration man with all this hard work. Thank you!
“Rock’ n’ no roll” should be the name since it’s a jump and no roll
i agree
literally had the same idea, i hope this "wins"
Rock no roll
Rick roll

One of your best vids and glad you didn't lose a hand or foot. As for the rock name, The Jack-it.
Wow! Thanks for using my idea - now I need to get up there and ride it!
I like how when something went wrong, he just said, “okay, we can fix this.” I wish everyone had this mindset
Love ❤️ it thanks for all of the amazing content
Rock n Roll, plain and simple. (and tells the story of the building of the feature..)
12:42 Love that shot Eric!
Great call on the name, nice work on the trail! "Stone throw" for the new feature.
Canada: Hikers help you building a sick feature on a trail.
Meanwhile in Switzerland: Hikers build sick traps like spanned wires across the trail
Yay a new video from my favorite UA-camr!!!!
Beautiful work. I wished there was such parks and places to convert it into mountain bike park or a trail park.😊 I just love watching both of your videos❤️
Good job looks like you know what you are doing!
Great vid bro! If I was a Grade 5 teacher, I would use this video to teach simple machines.
Thanks sis :)
Frozen dirt is the best!! It’s like riding in summer, but it’s just a little chilly
