"The Marines' Hymn" is the official march of the US Marine Corps, with music composed in 1867 by Jacques Offenbach and officially being adopted by the Marines in 1929. The lyrics of the song reference historical battles involving the US.

Love this! An AWESOME rendition of the Marine Corps Hymn! I felt its energy and I sang along with it. My Dad's a Marine and growing up, this was one of the first military tunes I completely memorized. Semper Fi to all Marines out there! OORAH!

I was at a veterans parade 2 months ago wearing my dress blues and a marching band suddenly sees me and plays the marine’s hymn.
I'm a big 1st Marine Division fan, In WWII they fought on Guadalcanal, Peleliu and Okinawa then Korea and Vietnam.
Many US Soldiers died to save my Country, My Father was a young boy at the time, He told me this. I will not forget and be forever thankful.

In summer the DC Marine Barracks puts on sunset shows with the drill guard, and it ends with a parade march past
