SEMPER FI Marines….I was stationed at Marine Barracks in 75 and took part in the Friday night parade inside the barracks…Hearing the song always reminded me of the Marines who gave their lives so we could all this freedom that other countries do not have.Goosebumps are always present when the song is played…God Bless The United States.

Yes, only “The President’s Own” and “The Commandant’s Own” carry this legacy from the old day when the musicians wore the uniforms with reversed colors from infantrymen.
