"The U.S." Air Force" (also known as "Wild Blue Yonder") was composed in 1938 under the name "Army Air Corps", however the lyrics and name were changed in 1947 to adapt to the new Air Force branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.

I like the traditional US military uniforms
Has to be one of the most up-beat marches, I honestly think this is just the much more uplifting one of the main 5. That being the Marines, Army, Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard.
Makes me proud too..Air Force Veteran.

@@OVERHERE-OVERHEREeven if you have passed away. Both my grandfathers headstones say SGT and MSGT US Air Force. My maternal grandfather rests at Quantico National Cemetery. Half my paternal grandparents ashes are at Arlington National Cemetery. The other half and my youngest uncle are at the family plot in Glasgow, Scotland. My father will do the same when his time comes. Half will be buried in Arlington, other half will be with his parents and brother in Glasgow

If anyone is curious, the USAFA uniforms in the beginning are specific to a graduating class marching "out" of the Cadet Wing. Class of 2007 here, i will not explain what i just said. IYKYK
We all have the parade dress, firsties just get the yellow sash (silver if they’re commissioning into the space force). I’m class of 2026 (SARGE). Good to see you sir! Everything is still fast neat average good good as usual
