The next fabrication hurdle... does the door hit the running board? 😳

  • The big moment of truth... as you know, we always weld the doors shut whenever we start slicing and dicing so that everything stays in shape. Today we're going to cut the door open for the first time to see if it's going to interfere with the running board. Once we jump that hurdle, we're going to finish fabricating the sill that runs from the inside sill over to the door 🚨

Coming on really nicely Chad Aiden and as usual exceptional camera work Jolene.
Just a safety tip - Don't hold you head directly over the zip cut wheel , as if it shatters, it will spit bits into your face.
A face shield will provide a better safety for your face and ear protection to avoid industrial deafness in later life.

Here's a thought for you to consider. Its no secret that many viewers want to see some of these cars finished . I get that you dont want to video the boring bits. Surely there is trades people about who would be willing to do the work for exposure on your channel, or at least at a reduced affordable rate. This would also free up Chad to just concentrate on what he loves to do. Could be a win , win for everyone.

Can I mention in the situation of scribibing the paper at the floor if you use a piece of heavy gauge aluminum foil and a rubber roller you can put your piece of foil on the floor and fold it down over the edge and gain your radius and then trim it and transfer that to a more solid template material . just saying my dad used to use heavy gauge foil during fabrication a lot its just more positive results . ok just my two cents on it.
