I'm in Paris right now. I'm Brazilian and I'm only here because of Broken Sword. Broken Sword came into my life approximately in 1998, I was born in 1987. I'm with my family and my wife has no idea why I wanted to visit the corner of Rue d'Orsel near Sacre Cour from Broken Sword 5 . Every moment George Stobbart speaks to me on the streets: "Paris in the fall..." Charles Cecil captured the entire atmosphere of the city and created eternal characters.
I played the originals on PS1 when I was in school, before I had the internet at home. I remember being stuck on certain parts for weeks and I'd be thinking about it all dat at school and couldn't wait to get back to playing. The sense of achievement, relief and excitement to see the next cool location after solving it was such a great feeling.
Hello i am from Poland 🇵🇱 and i want to thx for that REMAKE i wish mr Cecil do another remake BROKEN SWORD SMOKING MIRROR . that first two part they are briliant. I bought that game Remake day one and i love it, the thing small thing , reanimated it is a brilliant stuff. I realize hom mutch i mist point & klick game 😁
I've still got my ps1 copies of bs1 and 2, have sleeping dragon on Og Xbox, and 5 on both Xbox series x and ps5, skipped bs4 angel of death as I couldn't get it to run without the characters being shadowed out in black silhouette's.
What a great interview with one of my favourite Game Directors. More Broken Sword - or Baphomets Fluch as it is called in my language - is always better!
I wish they would make a new Broken Sword with the same level of talent, writing and aesthetic. I’m not a fan of the latest one. The engine looks off and the art direction has no soul. I don’t know why they couldn’t use the same code from number 2. Apparently the original is lost now, but they’ve got the reforged. They should use parts of that!

This was such a great interview. So positive and so wholesome. Nothing but love for everyone involved!
Great job by the interviewer! And Charles is a great interview as usual.
Please redo Broken Sword 3 and 4 in 2.5 D! Everything is there, the AI is there to support the re-development. Now would be the best time.
Amazing interview! I would love to know who conducted it, they clearly have a great passion for the game.
Thank you Revolution ! Please keep creating

Who else is planning on framing their Reforged Manuscript when they get the Collectors Edition?
“Charles Cecil” dudes name sounds like a Broken Sword character
Can anyone explain what he means by „There isn’t facial expression in this, but we will put it in and this comes straight from BS5“?
I hope they use the cursor font also for the subtitles - if not the original subtitle font from the first games.
So they are adding new content?
