Unreal. The strategy is just so smart, particularly the infighting and then rocket efficiency around 4:00. You can tell he's not even playing it perfectly, either, he just knows exactly where he can afford to cut some corners. Bravo.
2:15 Using imp's fire to attack barons to save ammo. I'm not sure this level is possible without using such tactics, at least not with 100% kills. Again at 3:30. 3:58 talk about getting max damage per rocket, how many in the blast radius?
Normally, this episode would be a pain in the neck, but only through constancy and practice can you make it look rather easy. On Nightmare, however, you should focus more on monster-infighting and hit-and-run strategies.
Came here to see if there was anything on the other side of those two pentagram walls since they have a path behind them on the map, was struck by how well you played this to 100%. I just got 100% myself but by spending hours punching those 4 big demonds through the bars... yeah.. :/
Before demon attack: Doomguy, stuck in the UAC base doing nothing instead of fighting the real battles or be with family. ( pretty much hell for Doomguy) Knee-Deep in the Dead: A hellspawn infested Phobos base. Shores of Hell: A hellspawn infested Deimos base in hell. Inferno: Literal depths of hell Thy Flesh Consumed: A player's hell. Sigil: Both literal hell and the player's hell. Note: I call Thy Flesh Consumed and Sigil player's hell because they are really hard. Inexperienced players may have a bad time in those levels.
This level took me _at least_ 1.5 hours to get 100% kills on without mid-level save scumming, mainly because I kept underestimating how deadly the simple shotgunners can be (and ran completely out of ammo once or twice in the final wave before realizing the necessity of infight tactics). Surprisingly, even Perfect Hatred (which has a reputation for being Ultimate Doom's most difficult level, possibly barring anything in Sigil, which I still haven't played yet) wasn't as hard for me!
To be honest, after alot of practice, I find this map to be easy, because as long as you take little to no damage before you grab the armor and you plan out the shots and it all goes according to plan, then it's not too bad. Getting 100% kills and secrets without taking damage however, makes this map damn near impossible for me, as I've yet to complete it that way, and I almost did it for my walkthrough video.
Literally blew my mind! I have never known of a way to beat this level 100%, but now it totally makes sense to use demon infighting. Awesome job!

Its incredible that a short level can be so difficult to 100%
For what it's worth, I had been stuck on this level forever trying to do complete runs and this just made it work. Thank you very much 🙇♂️
Awesome! E4M1 is no doubt the hardest level in all of Ultimate Doom, especially when going for all kills and secrets
😬It's a toss up between this and Perfect Hatred!
Is me or this map is a pain the ass because you die a lot
Lack of ammo sucks too.
Dang, I swear I checked every wall in that chamber with the rocket launcher. I was so confused.

At least we cant run out of ammo

Yes !!!! I was sure there's the "NiN" logo is blue key's room 💪 i just do the same map on the ps4 version and there's no "NiN" Logo 👿
The version on the PS4 is called the "BFG" edition. It has quite a few small changes, mostly censoring and taking things out.
Nine inch nails?

Ultra Violence Difficulty?
impression!
Was playing this on doom eternal needed one more kill but no bullets boron of hell sliced me when I try to punch it
Made it look easy.
It is worst map ever and perfect Hatred

I don't think I'll ever get to where this map is "easy," but doable...sure. If ever there was a map where slow and steady wins, this is it.
+exit322 Indeed. Practice definitely helps out.
you always can punch if you run out of ammo
Good luck winning a Baron of Hell punch off
@@ClippyClippington It's easy in an open area.
With a berserk. Otherwise it's tedious as hell. Jab jab jab. Like a GSP fight
@@ClippyClippington how dare you sir i learned a lot of technique watching him fight, lol
This map doesnt have berserk
Nice job.
