It’s hard for me to actually believe GTA VI is real, and that one day I will be able to play it, that mental block makes it hard for me to generate any ideas, it’s like trying to answer “what do you want out of yesterday?”
@@BLAKDANGERwhile the trailer didn’t seem to feature any gameplay, all of rockstar’s trailers have shown things that actually can/will happen in the game, and the release version always ends up looking better than the trailers graphics-wise.
The whole point of GTA online is to rise through the criminal ranks, there is absolutely no way they will let you skip that part by transferring characters lol
There is couple things that are very important for me: -Everyone starts fresh. It wouldnt be so fun to start GTA6 online with all of our millions of dollars and buy everything day 1. -No futuristic vehicles/less military stuff. I want this game to have fighter jet, tank, realistic stuff like that. But not so big quantity as GTA5. And definetly no laser weapons, opressors, deluxos, strombergs, owning your own submarines, facilitys no Doomsdays etc. -More smaller scale heist. Say what you want about og heists, they are so much fun imo (not counting braindead randoms). I want more off stuff like Fleeca, just small bank you can hit alone or with friend mayby even in free roam. -No more CEO/MC president nonsense. Why the hell there still is limit to them. Just remove them and let me start my missions without hopping multiple lobbys I think these with other improvments would bring back that feeling of GTA i think Online has lost. Being a proper criminal/gangbanger/hustler. Now it just feels like we are 1 man private army in warzone
Yeah the CEO thing is SO pointless, and heists setups are boring and again, pointless. Robbing a bank would be so much fun if it didnt require so much prep work, even with smaller pay
If anything, I'd want to transfer my character's _appearance_ at the very least, or at least be able to make a close enough match to my current character(s) appearance.
@@sooperdude22 any type of transfer is a dumb idea. it's a completely new game with entirely different customization and features. anything other than starting fresh makes no sense
I think some people forget how lizard like the created characters appear in online, i do remember before the game itself launched they were talking about the "vast character customization" although what we got in the end was more to do with the clothing system than the characters themselves
GTA VI needs to have a fresh start. We’ve been playing the same old GTAV for the past 12+ years. Our characters have aged more than most GTA Online players nowadays, gone through multiple glitches and mods too. GTA VI ONLINE will most likely be fresh though, to match the new environment, story telling, characters, features, lore, and so on. The customization from the way your character looks and is build needs to be heavily improved on from RDR2 which was already miles ahead of GTA V. The clothing options, hairstyles/Grooming, and weight/muscle. And it would be incredible to be able to have our character develop dynamically to our lifestyle in game. If you live a hard life and spend a lot of time doing hard rough work out in the sun, your character should look more weathered, if you’re a business man, you’ll appear cleaner. That would be great. Speaking of “businessman”, we should have multiple opportunities within the online mode of GTA VI. Being able to choose your job would be amazing. Be a civilian, a uncorrupt or corrupt police officer, or a criminal. It would make GTA VI ONLINE feel fresh and separate from the same GTA ONLINE that we’ve been playing for the past 10 years. It also would make so much sense since ROCKSTAR bought FIVEM. Vehicles need to be heavily improved upon. Better sounds, speeds, physics, looks, and overall feel and gameplay. We should be able to customize our cars to our personal preferences in seats of a stiff customization system such as in GTAV. I would also like to have a fuel system, but not have to do it so often, maybe once in awhile or even just for fun without functionality like, but I would like a challenge as long as it’s disabled for mission purposes. Housing also needs improvements. I would love to see multiple different options from low end to high end, any location on the map. Imagine being able to live in a mansion right on the water that you worked so hard for, it would feel great. Or maybe you need a low end apartment just to get you through for a bit. I don’t want apartments, they should be an option still but I would love to see housing. Weapons need to be improved, from gameplay, sounds, looks, and just make them seem powerful and real. Make it hit hard when you shoot enemy NPC’s. The game is obviously M rated, so I would love to see an enhanced gore/ragdoll system. Realistic deaths, and make us feel sorry for killing an NPC unless you’re an absolute psychopath. The map. Oh I would love a dynamic changing map, and map updates every couple of months, almost like how Fortnite is with its evolving map. But I would love to see new locations added for DLC’s, unlocking more missions and lore. It would only make sense to expand into cuba and Georgia, so on from there. I’d love to see lots of depth and detail, from streets to neighborhoods to cities to rural areas. I’d love a lot of mysteries and eastereggs littered throughout Leonida to keep players invested. Overall details, such as realistic dynamic weather, to dynamic character features such as sun burn/tan, hair growth, sweat, bleeding, etc. I’d also love realistic clothing that reacts, realistic water, etc. Maybe this is too much to ask for, and i probably have my expectations high, but I believe in rockstar to deliver the game of the upcoming decade. What do you guys think?
This sir is exactly what I want too. It would be nice for a shopping mall, an open stadium, and other buildings to have interiors for us to explore. Also I dislike that gtaV has weak NPCs. I wanna be able to beat them up and they are still able to get up and walk away. It’s so boring to 1 hit an NPC and they’re immediately dead
I think it would be nice to have a role system. You can choose to be a cop, fall in with a gang, business mogul, influencer. All Would have its own series of missions and perks. They’d have to find a way to blend them in but it’s gonna be interesting to see how they’ll make it fresh but I think doubling down on a role based experience would be very interesting
i hope the online for gta 6 is more grounded and it focuses on more small time crime with the occasional bank heist also small legit businesses are fine like a car shop or like a dry cleaners or something where you could make "legal" money passively and then you would have the weed farms and the coke labs and money laundering and stuff like that it would also be cool to have police raids so your money laundering place is prone to being raided and thats why having those legal businesses would be good because then you can use that money to start a new money laundering business also i would want more missions you can do alone because the worst part of gta 5 online is the fact that its online playing missions and heists with random people is a pain in the ass you can never start or finish a heist first try because someone leaves the online missions always fail because either someone is afk or they are shit at the game
GTA V's core loop works for a pvp based audience, but GTA VI needs a way to create a more social environment similar to the Respect ideology CaptainGlack suggested. If they somehow created hubs for certain activities, or even danger zones that appeal to PVP it'd help create an identity or a sort of community based around certain parts or locations to the map. This would help in terms of progression and status to create the illusion of being rich + popular while allowing Rockstar to create the same game loops they've always made. imo freemodes' sense of danger was always interesting/ sort of like Escape from Tarkov in trying to extract with loot but was never willing to make the player unhappy for fear theyd leave the game.
i hope they go clean state because you cant really top thing like "saving the world" in the doomsday heist without it getting corny, generic and cringe
At the bare minimum, 6’s Online has just gotta avoid jumping the shark in relation to being a GTA game. More grounded context for missions and general gameplay, while finding a way to keep that gameplay interesting. Hopefully more normal progression instead of owning a few dozen different businesses, all of which are dull grindfests, just to still be susceptible to predatory monetization/extremely overpriced items, might I add. Speaking of which, hopefully they also avoid futuristic meme gadgets straight out of modern Saints Row/Fortnite. There’s a reason that GTA 4’s multiplayer is so much more enjoyable than 5’s to this day, despite only having a few different game modes and basically nothing else. (I will admit another reason for that is because there aren’t any griefing children on GTA 4’s) P.S. I also hope the game encourages more social interaction compared to most other online games these days. Not sure how’d they do it, but as it stands you’re usually not doing anything “with” other players in most games these days, and instead everybody’s usually just operating in isolation despite being in the same “co-op” mission
I low-key hope the money struggle is similar to Niko bellic story doing odd jobs would much more interesting then doing missions chains that lead into heists etc I think self contained stories is the way to go and Heists being a dynamic free roam thing
The new GTA online will be a new game so why wouldn’t we start fresh with a new character? Not to mention that who knows what new game mechanics it may have or even what the game will be all about. There’s no guarantees that it will be the same concept as the original GTAO.
I hope they find a way to include more positive player interaction. In GTA Online's current state they've kinda created an online multiplayer game where you want to avoid people as best as you can. It's usually better to stay in an invite only lobby to avoid griefers, cheaters, and such. Hopefully in the sequel they can create ways to have more positive interactions. Whether by having an option to join a casual no pvp lobby, or having more social spaces in the map such as the casino, car meet, or nightclubs for players to be at, and giving them greater incentives to frequently go to these social spaces. So, hopefully they can create a better, less toxic feeling environment in the next iteration of GTA Online.
They also made so all content that can be completed solo is best played solo. That's so dumb. Rockstar really need to learn from other coop games that allow solo play but reward players that do coop.
If they let people transfer characters it would be awful. You would have people complaining they are bored cause they brought in a character that required no investment, you would have people who cheated or abused methods to get ahead taking the easy route. You would have day 1 players against other day 1 players who have a clear advantage.. Also it would be bad for rockstar selling MTX
It's going to be a clean slate, not for any gameplay purposes, but because they need to give you a reason to buy more shark cards and letting you bring over anything from V aside from some kind of "Loyalty Reward" cosmetic is gonna hamper that
Imo what should change in gta 6 is the way you carry weapons. You should have a system similar to red dead 2 where you store your arsenal into the trunk of your car. It would give more importance to every gunfight. If for instance, someone walks into any place with a visible gun, it should be an important event and not something that is the norm for every interaction. Right now the norm is to solve any problem with a bullet. I hope for something more like Hitman WoA. On the other hand, you should be able to do any of the silly things you can already do like robbing a place armed with a bazooka, but if you want to do it, you got to prepare with putting the weapon into a trunk. Parking behind the place. Making sure that when you get seen with the bazooka you are ready to commit to the action.
Great video, and you're right, we need depth. GTA + is the biggest concern atm tho with it steadily drifting towards locking off features to only subscribers.
One of my personal biggest issues is the lack of mission staples that gtao just doesnt have, it took us twelve years to get basic taxi and vigilante missions, and we’re still missing fire truck and ambulance missions, all of which should have been in the game from the beginning like previous games had
Rockstar needs to watch your video man. You hit the nail right on the head with everything you shared and as an avid GTA Online player investing many hours. I hope that GTA6 Online has many of the things you are asking for here. Especially more depth and incentive to play and progress. If we got just that thing. I think the game could easily keep us going for years and years and be a ton of fun.
GTA online 2 needs to be more grounded, with no futuristic flying vehicles, more modern servers so people can find your IP-address, more insentive to not be a greifer, fun game modes. Better character creation with 6 voices to choose from 3 male 3 female, choosing your characters age like you could in GTA online on PS3 and Xbox 360, having a similar character physique, making it possible to be very muscular, thin or fat. Better apartment customization.
Nope. Ur logic rn is realism= good, futuristic/fantasy=bad. When it has been proven to not be the case😂 and also games are for getying away from irl not to get irl 2.0
And also what do u have such a problem with future stuff??? So in the future when flying cars comes out and shit then u will cry abt it eveeryday?😂 things chabges all the time. Get used to it already
Do not mind it but would like 3 things 1 going in and out of interiors without loading screens 2 all businesses have passive income based around npcs that do easy jobs when your not around 3 all business let you call the manager and you can check supplies or start missions from there. I really hate driving halfway though the map just check on a business
I would like the new GTAO to be geared for adults a bit. I work all day, I’m exhausted. I wanna come home, kick it with the boys I’ve had since GTA IV and have fun! I grind in real life. I should not have to do for basic experience. Re-do the economy, no pay to win, add a classic IV style Freemode (pls) and let the adults have a blast without being hassled by kids and their moms credit card. Vs GTAO is just a cesspool.
I have such fond memories of GTA IV online. And that game had nothing in the open world expect, imagination. We made our own story and I played the shit out of that for years with friends, finding parkour spots, finding the best places to fight the police, fights with other players felt fair and fun! Using rockets to send each other over from roof top to roof top with friendly fire off. Sometimes more doesn’t mean better, sometimes simplicity is better than complexity. I say, keep it simple, make it about low level crime, let us come up with our own fun while providing us some simple situations for us to create said fun, more races, some heists. And just update us with more of that
If rockstart dose change the futuristic vehicles and weapons will GTA 6 feel boring and stagment like we are missing somthing? I really hope that can make it work without all the futuristic stuff it didnt work for saints row either And considering its a new game GTA5 progress should be left in GTA 5 especially with all the modders and accounts with to much money.... GTA 6 = FRESH START
i want gta online in 6 to have a more "progressive" aspect to it so you have a reason to actually play the game to unlock things. one thing i dislike about 5 is the fact that if you have a modded account or just a lot of money, you have access to EVERYTHING. i think it could be cool if, for example, gta 5 started with contact missions that eventually got you ties with other people, which lead to the apartments for the heists, which then lead to you knowing other people and unlocking other businesses so that things like the auto shop were the first things you did, somewhat legal and an entry level to criminality business, and the office, which feels like the absolute top of the criminal empire, were things you worked towards, rather than just having access to because you have money. i get that this wasnt possible because of dlc release orders, but still, thats why gta 6 could take this on board
The thing we gta online for 6 depending how cop characters are id love working with a corrupt cops and maybe some missions of in patrol boats searching for dropped cocaine… The clothing style would be great to be like rdo and give us ablility to wear pouches for that military luck..hopefully without glitching this time. Something with respect maybe different respects for different gangs and the cop, I’m reminded of a line from gta 2 “respect is everything.”
What rock star needs to do to really capitalize on the next GTA online experience is add the most immersive elements we've ever seen into an online game. I'm talking being able to manage your characters Weight and appearance by going to the gym. Being able to invest our money. Giving emissions multiple different possibilities and outcomes, for example, I'm a big fan of trying to complete GTA online and the most non-lethal way possible, so if they did things like give missions the opportunity to be completed without killing a single person that would be cool. Also imagine if you could create a character and you don't have to sell drugs, commit any crimes, kill anyone, you could actually start doing small level work that is legitimate and do a little bit more hard work than usual, make a great living and still be able to enjoy the great things that this new GTA online experience has to offer. If they do that, it will make us invest into our characters and want to come back every day. Our characters will be a true extension of ourselves. Especially if they go all out on the character customization with things like hair, beards, different sizes, maybe even heights, I'm sure they'll do it like Red Dead with a females were a little bit shorter, but being able to be who we want to be within GTA will allow people to really feel connected to this experience. Please rockstar, do this.
In gta 6 playing with randoms should be way more rewarding . If you dont have any friends to play with most of the hesist cant be played. And setups should have higher reward. That includes career progession with randoms it should be easier to complete. Roles progession similar to rdo2. The vehicle meta needs to change . Boats and submarienes should have more use. Planes and choppers need to cost more and be harder to use .and the air space need to be more restrictive. A super car can’t have alot of armor or alot of weapons. And the cars need to be easier to destroy with your driving. And when a supercar drives ofroad it shouldn't work well or at all
If the oppressor mk2 returns or comes back as a mk3, I'm out. Simple at that. Or at the very least triple the armor &/or give way more vehicles jammers. Boone needs to get blown up in a single rocket or 2 in a maxed out vehicle.
Maybe not los santos bc we spent the last 10 years there but I bet people wanna see liberty city and San fiero las venturas maybe even carcer city (that’s a pipe dream)
love your content Glack, but I sincerely do hope you understand the irony of promoting War Thunder on a video about the failures of GTA5O. Coming from a former player myself, I can assure you that War Gaming treats their playerbase 1000x worse than Rockstar treats its. If you think Rockstar locking mid cars behind the GTA+ paywall is bad, I advise you to look up the literal nickel and diming that War Thunder does to this very day.
I think what GTA 6 Online needs to do most is to bring the sense of realism we feel in the story mode to the online mode. They tried to bring that with early days of GTA Online. But lack of features and focusing on saving GTA Online killed that feeling. (Post 2015 Heists era.) I think there should be an online mode that makes us feel like we've stepped into the criminal world of the 2020s in real life. Deaths or being busted, and the consequences of fighting with other players in free mode should be severe. Buying a house or a car should require effort just like in real life, but the online economy shouldn’t be as absurd as in GTA Online. The grind system should reward you more for doing different things many times rather than doing the same thing repeatedly. Rockstar should focus on creating a realistic online mode without fear. But I’m afraid that won’t happen. Even if they start with the realistic route, they would start worrying about the lack of kids’ fun, shark card sales, GTA+ bs ect. And then it’s going to be filled with futuristic stuff, businesses and content milking.
The progression into unlocking stores is a great idea. Should be like that for everything. Money shouldn't be the only path, playing and making good decisions too!
I understand your point and i’d also like to have the content be more worthwhile, but god damn it i just wanna own houses, businesses and cars😂 but i do hope they bring something fresh to the table
Amazing video !! My thought about it is that unfortunately gta 6 is kinda built around the online version. Take-two, seeing the money that gta online makes, must’ve put some pressure on the rockstar team to kinda work on that. We’ll see I guess but I think this is the direction we’re going to.
Should be more PvE focused with a world that has stuff going on and encourages random cooperation, like gangs fighting over territory, police raids, just unscripted stuff like that. Getting involved in random unpredictable chaos while just cruising around would add so much fun. Could also lead to more sidequests and activities, the possibilities are basically endless. Also more flashed out businesses with specific skills and mechanics so focusing on one thing would be worthwhile instead of just owning and doing everything.
Not asking for a full life simulator, but id definitely like GTA6O to run somewhat more like a role-playing experience. Kinda like during character creation, you can pick a role (mechanic, driver, pilot, assasin, etc) and from there you get a unique career path and businesses that you can open up and run, missions you can do and special features only for that class, so players could make new characters if they wanna experience a new path. On top of that, to incentive player cooperation with friends, you can merge your businesses with someine elses to start making an organization. Like say youre playing a mechanic, so you owj an autoshop/salavge yard. And your friend is playing a drug dealer. So you two get the unique ability to merge and open up a land drug smuggling operation using the autoshop and salavge yard as fronts for the drug operation
I think GTA VI online need less microtransactions. More gameplay and better storylines for DLCs unlike GTA Online where it was your typical contact mission even with a "storyline" that lasted 10 missions at best. They should take their time and release well made, well wrote and polished DLCs instead of trying to pump them out twice a year. And what im gonna say is pretty obvious. But they should remove all the overpowered vehicles. Its GTA. Not saints row. Of course I typed this before watching it fully so its probably going to be said in the video anyway
Realistically if gta plus was modeled as a way to maintain the health of the game through updates it would be great, they do not need to remake the wheel, simply steal the concept of Runescape, they have free to play zones that have content but the sheer amount of content you get access to for a monthly subscription makes it worth it. It would give Rockstar the incentive to make truly great content that the community wants versus what they do now (locking QOL improvements, monthly 1m allowances, shitty chameleon wheel colors)
Idk, that would be Top no matter what. First year of new release is awesome, new updates changes bugs. That gonna be fun. A lot of glitches and abuses, maybe cheats too. GTA inflation won’t be there for a while. The modes and missions would be calm and easy, without lasers and flying cars, that gonna be its gold time.
I think they could mix both of those ideas together. Say u transfer ur character but they lose everything in some narrative way and have to start fresh, that would make things interesting and give more incentive to grind imo.
What they need on GTA VI online is pvp and non pvp sessions. I say let all the griefers grief themselves in the pvp session and the ones who want to play the game, let us have a non pvp session.
I have an idea but I doubt they will do it. What makes a ongoing shows so interesting? There is always an Antagonist.. think of any series TWD, The 100, Breaking bad, Stranger Things, etc. There is always something against them to continue the story, recapture the audience’s attention, & make you invest your time. Whether it be Negan, the grounders, Tuco, or the mind flare even when those things are defeated you feel a sense of accomplishment. But introduce another antagonist like Alpha, mountain men, Gus Fring, Or Vecna and the excitement is back. I believe GTA Online should do something like this. A on going story mode that is linear with its logic. Adding antagonist that are personal to our characters and friends that we have made along the way. But what else makes these long ongoing shows so impactful and personal? When we lose close characters and or have to make tough decisions. SPOILER ALERT ‼️🚨‼️🚨‼️🚨‼️🚨‼️🚨 Negan killing Glenn for example. Having some of our closest friends being taken from us under our supervision or responsibility or having to make tough choices that result in the life of another would then give us incentive and buy in to defeat these antagonists. Just make continuous ongoing stories. What do you think about that?
Hello Captain o Captain! I completely understand what you mean, and your ideas of what the next GTA Online should be are in line with I expect Rockstar to do. GTA Vice Online should be about character development and progression, not about piling up money in a bank account to fill up a garage with cars that we might drive only once. Give me something meaningful to share with friends or by myself. Oh! And you are the first youtuber that I hear pronounced Leonida the correct way. Keep it up bro!!
We already have a progression system in GTA Online. Depending on your level you can/cannot buy some weapons. I think this idea should be improved and expanded in the next Online.
I'm not buying GTA6 I have had enough of R* greed and I'm going to vote with my money. Most people will lap up anything they put out now. They're lazy. You give them too much credit. They will milk the shit outta online. Force gta+ on us...ridiculous price of vehicles/ inflation. Npcs with aimbot. The oppressor mk2. A business reskin every now and then. Shit I've brought getting nerfed....hackers/cheats. Just so done. 10 years of this, I'm not guna go back for more 💯 plenty of other games to try these days.

GTA 6 Online needs to be separated from Single-Player, that is my only wish. The more they brought new stuff to it, the worse Online got, but the worst thing is that game`s engine can not handle that much assets, so it is now broken in Single-Player, AI got dumb, physics sometimes dont work properly, all because of the Online DLC`s which are not available in Single-Player but still loaded, so I would rather have Online separated from SP in GTA 6, because of stability, game size (no need to download online files if you plan to play SP only) and mods support (Rockstar would not deliberately break compatibility for mods in Single-Player)
If the pay is low like in GTA Online where after a cut you get like 200 000 dollars for robbing a bank, then I'll rather wanna have my current character transferred to GTA VI online with all the money, apartments, vehicles...
Above all else, please treat GTA 6 online with actual care, and have a finger on the pulse. Being involved with your community is 100% the best thing you can do for your game. Edit: Drugs instead of heists. Chinatown Wars is a good source for inspiration.
I love gta online. Grinding is my favorite thing to do with all business except the biker and bounty businesses then do other things in the game. Hope gta 6 does things similar and different at the same time if that make sense, respect sounds interesting idea
not only does GTA VI Online need to be a fresh start but it also needs to play differently. I don't want to see such a focus on making money as much as in GTA V Online, instead I'd focus on crazy fun stuff. Imagine an Online Saints Row, with all its crazy, fun and outrageous side activities. Not saying the money aslect should be cut entirely (that's what GTA IV Online is like), and maybe you cab still have the players be able to run businesses, buy yachts, penthouses and crazy vehicles, which would justify the Shark Cards, but it shouldn't be the main focus of the game.
I want GTA 6 Online to ignore GTA 5 Online, and live up to what Red Dead Online started but never finished. Red Dead had basically two story path, honorable and dishonourable and different tasks associated with it, but they stopped updating the game before they finished both story paths. GTA 6 online either needs to do something similar or have the minor tasks in recent Rockstar games be possible career paths. If I can live in the universe-equivalent of The Everglades and make a decent living hunting and selling pelts, the economy is actually consistent (no 1 million dollar 1970’s station wagons) and keeps away from the futuristic space vehicles I’ll be very happy. It will probably help that GTA 5 Online was fleshed out off the back of cancelled single player DLC. Hopefully GTA 6 is too big for them to have considered that at this point.

Personally I just want more story more in GTO or being able to have a Story mode for your GTO character hell I'll be happy if I can just play as them in the single player mode. Only other thing I want is just to be able to Solo everything in GTO I don't care if you give me NPCs as allies I just hated NEEDING other players and NEEDING to be online to reap benefits (I'm sure they might have fixed that given how long I stopped playing GTO but that's the main reason I quit)
Ive seen many of these type of videos and it boggles my mind that nobody talks about FiveM and the CFXRE acquisition. Every single script, mod, texture, and processes are automatically owned by Rockstar. They have the roots of big updates at the tip of their fingers, they just need to make the code less buggy, and polish up the visuals. I think SixM is going to be a huge part of GTA VI, maybe even built in. Like there will be a server browser and then regular GTA online content, but a subscription will be needed to play SixM. Next time you make a video like this you have to talk about the CFXRE acquisition because that is going to be a large part of GTA online's future.
Id pay for gta plus if it makes it worthwhile for them to make constant world changes from buildings and neighborhoods being completed and changed to new cities and states and an actual story thats planned right and not just thrown together
There's absolutely no doubt that there simply is not a single other game even remotely similar to GTA:Online, but few notice that's because of the sheer infrastructure of the entire game. Put aside ridiculous loading times, connection failures and numerous other issues that feel like bugs or bad coding rather than bad ideas; the entire method of playing gta online, alone is unironically unmatched. What VI needs to do is to re-do it and restart it; We weren't aware of how good we had it back in 2015, GTA needs to remind us again what it means to have unbothered and streamlined freemode fun with friends and randoms alike. GTA needs to double-down on RDR2's cinematic gameplay and really make it possible to re-enact those trailers. As in, VI:Online needs to capitilize on what makes the new GTA game unique, V:Online had it's original basis and source of major updates be based on Heists just as the Story mode. VI has to be a continuation of it's story mode also, I'm fairly optimistic about this due to R*'s recent partnership with FiveM, possibly earning their developers unimaginable experience in how to emulate an immersive low-level crime lifestyle, just as VI's trailer seems to emphasize about it's Story mode protagonists, as opposed to V's over-the-top characters and Los Angeles-Hollywood inspired over-the-top Heists and Action-packed missions. Although the current GTA:Online's status looks bleak given their anti-consumer practices and unreleased content well running dry without the resources to create more; pushing them to release sub-par old scrapped content, blatantly release downgraded VI vehicles or opt in for simply uninspired content, not to mention the absolute failure of RD:Online; I'm not actually discouraged at all by any of these past (or ongoing) aspects, to me, if anything, it proves the absolute work being put into making VI as good as it can be, it's well over-due to accept GTAV:Online's official development death, especially on PC.
I’m probably in the vast minority but GTA online is the greatest game I’ve ever played. I was hoping GTA 6 would build off that instead of completely overriding it because the gap between 4 and 5 online is like earth to NGC 1101. I really enjoyed the game around 2016-17 from cunning stunts to doomsday heist, and I hope that 6 can create an experience similar. Most people don’t like them, but the additions in Gunrunning really changed the game for me because it introduced so many new ways to fight that helped bridge the gap between players and the broken AI.
One thing i dont see many people talking about: modes outside that urge of a new "gangster rp" open world : what i loved about gta online is how it could feel realistic and arcadey at the same time ( cunning stunt races, adversary modes like deadline, powerplay, motor wars, events made by players ), this adds so much variety to the game! but yet people never play it because of.... shitty payments and grind culture gta 6 online could find a way to separate more the nonsense shit from the open world, that way they could please both audiences
As much as I would like to take my hard-earned money over to GTA Online 2.0 I think a fresh start is the best approach. R* should not look at the next game as a continuation of our current character's story. The narrative needs to be that players are starting out as different characters. Of course, we'll have the opportunity to customize our new characters to look like our previous game characters if we choose to however in the universe of GTA online 2.0 they will be different people. One of the things I miss the most about the current GTA Online is the feeling that comes with being a level 1 noob. Getting the opportunity to start from nothing again well be a lot of fun in my opinion. R* needs to figure out what role GTA+ will have in GTA Online 2.0. Whatever they decide it cannot give subscribers day 1 advantages. EVERYONE must start the game from nothing in order for the experience to be like it was in 2013. Here are the possible options R* has. 1. Make GTA Online 2.0 a GTA+ exclusive meaning to play the game you have to subscribe. There would be no unfair day 1 advantage if everyone has GTA+ member benefits. 2. Segregate GTA+ members from the non-subscribed players in GTA Online 2.0. For example, a lobby in which GTA+ members can only interact with other GTA+ members. They will not be able to enter general population lobbies. This will ensure their member benefits cannot be used against players who do not have them. R* is likely not going to be interested in doing what they can to make GTA Online 2.0 a level playing field on day 1. They need to force non-subscribers to join GTA+. The best way to do that is by allowing subscribers to have an unfair advantage. This means option number 1 is the likely they route they will take.
Id honestly be disappointed if GTA 6 online had anything to do (other than maybe a reference) with GTA 5 online. Ive got a character that is older than a lot of people that currently play GTA and I want something new. What is the point if i can immediately start being like max level with tens of millions in the bank. As ironic as it sounds, being GTA "Online", I'd like to be able to meaningfully advance and make money on my own when my friends aren't available, Considering we aren't 16 anymore and all have jobs and lives. I really hate the fact that you essentially need 2-3 friends to sell your cargo, for example. Also, death to the flying death bike.
I want a fresh start, like the entire point is a criminal open world sandbox, I want to be a street criminal working her way up slowly by doing such jobs. what I don't want is to be saving the world from some evil mastermind or something because that just isn't GTA
AstroSoup said it best in his GTA Online needs a new freemode vid. The game needs to just be completely restructured, have depth and be fun. Instead now it’s just divided between the grinding aspect that’s just for accumulating cash to buy crap you don’t need, and the PvP that’s been a rotting mess made worse with every update.
I hope we get more customization options for example your home , your weapons , the phone you’re using , owning pets , doing jobs like being a police officer , sex mini game but this will not happen 😂
GTA6 will be too big to financially fail one way or the other including their online mode, I do however think that long-term it won't be able to capture the same audience from GTA5 Online and money spent on micro transactions because its impossible to capture that magic again like the first time (I know 4 did it first but it was extremely basic online). They'll have to bring something pretty new and big to the table to keep people that engaged for that long. I guess their GTA+ subscription will help supplement it but still.

It’s hard for me to actually believe GTA VI is real, and that one day I will be able to play it, that mental block makes it hard for me to generate any ideas, it’s like trying to answer “what do you want out of yesterday?”
Lol same, I won’t believe it’s real until I see a gameplay trailer ahah
LEGIT I've been hearing rumors and shit about this game for too long I need to see it to believe it.
@@BLAKDANGERwhile the trailer didn’t seem to feature any gameplay, all of rockstar’s trailers have shown things that actually can/will happen in the game, and the release version always ends up looking better than the trailers graphics-wise.
Literally no reason for it not to be a clean slate in my opinion
Yeah i don’t get why he even spent time talking about that lmao… obviously it’s going to be a clean slate.
The whole point of GTA online is to rise through the criminal ranks, there is absolutely no way they will let you skip that part by transferring characters lol
@@guacsauce7402 exactly, also it’s no fun whatsoever just transferring over and not grinding
There is couple things that are very important for me:
-Everyone starts fresh.
Just remove them and let me start my missions without hopping multiple lobbys
I think these with other improvments would bring back that feeling of GTA i think Online has lost. Being a proper criminal/gangbanger/hustler. Now it just feels like we are 1 man private army in warzone
The same opinion too
Yeah the CEO thing is SO pointless, and heists setups are boring and again, pointless. Robbing a bank would be so much fun if it didnt require so much prep work, even with smaller pay
People that want their character to transfer are unreal. Thank god rockstar wont do that.
Seen a couple people say they hope Los Santos as a separate playable area 💀
If anything, I'd want to transfer my character's _appearance_ at the very least, or at least be able to make a close enough match to my current character(s) appearance.
@@sooperdude22 any type of transfer is a dumb idea. it's a completely new game with entirely different customization and features. anything other than starting fresh makes no sense
I think some people forget how lizard like the created characters appear in online, i do remember before the game itself launched they were talking about the "vast character customization" although what we got in the end was more to do with the clothing system than the characters themselves
I only want my character to transfer, yknow, just my avatar dude not anything else
Touch some grass.
@@AwareWolfOnWheelsshut your ass up, if having an imagination/ideas gets you this butt hurt you're definitely one of the biggest losers around
I dont think they will make guns sound powerful like they were in gta 4 for example.😊
@@AwareWolfOnWheels he gave his opinion and expectation on how he wants the game to be you do not have to be so miserable
I think it would be nice to have a role system. You can choose to be a cop, fall in with a gang, business mogul, influencer. All
Would have its own series of missions and perks.
Hit the nail on the head
I thought I was the only one still playing GTA IV online😂
haha yes, I'm glad I caught that early!
i through I miss read that
I was so confused because ive never saw him in our GTA IV PC community xD
IV online is the way to go, pure freedom and dumb fun without some annoying characters calling every 2 minutes
GTA 4 online is so awesome
i hope they go clean state because you cant really top thing like "saving the world" in the doomsday heist without it getting corny, generic and cringe
(I will admit another reason for that is because there aren’t any griefing children on GTA 4’s)
We should all start with a clean slate. Not sure why people would want to transfer their characters across anyways! 😅
What you described with the respect system you would implement sounds basically like the Streetcred System in Cyberpunk
That’s a good comparison actually
If they let people transfer characters it would be awful. You would have people complaining they are bored cause they brought in a character that required no investment, you would have people who cheated or abused methods to get ahead taking the easy route. You would have day 1 players against other day 1 players who have a clear advantage.. Also it would be bad for rockstar selling MTX
Roleplay is the future of gta online
Nah
@@Jhony781 yeah
Title says GTA 4 btw mate. 👍
Appreciate the VERY EARLY warning! Thanks for watching!
4:57 noo bruh we need a clean slate
You drop high Quality videos🤝
Thank you boss 🖖🏻
Get used to it already
gta 4?
Shush, I'm tired.
IMO it’s gotta be a clean slate. Like when we jumped from San Andreas to IV. All new gangs and huge updates to the way tech is in all of our lives.
Do not mind it but would like 3 things
1 going in and out of interiors without loading screens
2 all businesses have passive income based around npcs that do easy jobs when your not around
3 all business let you call the manager and you can check supplies or start missions from there. I really hate driving halfway though the map just check on a business
step 1: implement vcs empire building
step 2: profit
I would like the new GTAO to be geared for adults a bit. I work all day, I’m exhausted. I wanna come home, kick it with the boys I’ve had since GTA IV and have fun! I grind in real life. I should not have to do for basic experience. Re-do the economy, no pay to win, add a classic IV style Freemode (pls) and let the adults have a blast without being hassled by kids and their moms credit card. Vs GTAO is just a cesspool.
How about gta 6 could be where your online character got busted in los santos and had to flee to vice and start over
I have such fond memories of GTA IV online.
I really hope that can make it work without all the futuristic stuff it didnt work for saints row either
And considering its a new game GTA5 progress should be left in GTA 5 especially with all the modders and accounts with to much money....
The thing we gta online for 6 depending how cop characters are id love working with a corrupt cops and maybe some missions of in patrol boats searching for dropped cocaine…
The clothing style would be great to be like rdo and give us ablility to wear pouches for that military luck..hopefully without glitching this time.
Something with respect maybe different respects for different gangs and the cop, I’m reminded of a line from gta 2 “respect is everything.”
Easy co op with friends would be a great start.
Be cool to face scan too since 2k is there parent company
You people don’t work out in the real world but want it in a video game
Me 2 no more GTA for me no more I'm outta here

Maybe not los santos bc we spent the last 10 years there but I bet people wanna see liberty city and San fiero las venturas maybe even carcer city (that’s a pipe dream)
One thing i want to see in GTA VI is surfing, i heard there would be surfing, so there better be surfing!!!!
love your content Glack, but I sincerely do hope you understand the irony of promoting War Thunder on a video about the failures of GTA5O.
Give our Character a voice!
The progression into unlocking stores is a great idea. Should be like that for everything. Money shouldn't be the only path, playing and making good decisions too!
I just want the game to be less pay 2 win and more solo player friendly and shorter and less tedious missions
Its pretty obvious they are gonna heavily push gta+ and a Battle pass system
I understand your point and i’d also like to have the content be more worthwhile, but god damn it i just wanna own houses, businesses and cars😂 but i do hope they bring something fresh to the table
This video was amazing as the last one. Thank you for voicing an opinion a lot of us feel the same about.
Respect system sounds Like a pretty decent idea. I don't want to have the same path as my friends
I hope for nothing more then a clan slate, idc I’ve spent 10 years on this character I need a new game a new thing to work on
Realistically if gta plus was modeled as a way to maintain the health of the game through updates it would be great, they do not need to remake the wheel, simply steal the concept of Runescape, they have free to play zones that have content but the sheer amount of content you get access to for a monthly subscription makes it worth it. It would give Rockstar the incentive to make truly great content that the community wants versus what they do now (locking QOL improvements, monthly 1m allowances, shitty chameleon wheel colors)
What if your character gets arrested loses everything then escapes jail and runs off to vice city
Idk, that would be Top no matter what. First year of new release is awesome, new updates changes bugs. That gonna be fun. A lot of glitches and abuses, maybe cheats too. GTA inflation won’t be there for a while. The modes and missions would be calm and easy, without lasers and flying cars, that gonna be its gold time.
kingpin of LS VS kingpin of VC

SPOILER ALERT ‼️🚨‼️🚨‼️🚨‼️🚨‼️🚨
Negan killing Glenn for example. Having some of our closest friends being taken from us under our supervision or responsibility or having to make tough choices that result in the life of another would then give us incentive and buy in to defeat these antagonists. Just make continuous ongoing stories.
What do you think about that?
been a while, captain. nice to see you back.
And you, sir 🫡
Thanks for watching!
So you’re not going to play what is probably going to be a best-in-class single-player game because of the Online? An Online you don’t have to play?
Another great video, keep up the good work.
Thanks so much, friend! Appreciate you stopping by.
thats a 4 not a 6
Unfortunately, you right.

I did hear rumors that Rockstar wants to focus on what FiveM did for GTA 6 Online
real ones remember when the title said it was a GTA IV video
If the pay is low like in GTA Online where after a cut you get like 200 000 dollars for robbing a bank, then I'll rather wanna have my current character transferred to GTA VI online with all the money, apartments, vehicles...
the respect ideas you have are amazing
HEY A SPONSOR! (also my first house was also the same one, my first garage was the 25k one in sandy shores with my black with red strip sultan RS XD)

I do hope its a clean slate
Although the current GTA:Online's status looks bleak given their anti-consumer practices and unreleased content well running dry without the resources to create more; pushing them to release sub-par old scrapped content, blatantly release downgraded VI vehicles or opt in for simply uninspired content, not to mention the absolute failure of RD:Online;
I'm not actually discouraged at all by any of these past (or ongoing) aspects, to me, if anything, it proves the absolute work being put into making VI as good as it can be, it's well over-due to accept GTAV:Online's official development death, especially on PC.
One thing i dont see many people talking about: modes outside that urge of a new "gangster rp" open world :
what i loved about gta online is how it could feel realistic and arcadey at the same time ( cunning stunt races, adversary modes like deadline, powerplay, motor wars, events made by players ), this adds so much variety to the game! but yet people never play it because of.... shitty payments and grind culture
gta 6 online could find a way to separate more the nonsense shit from the open world, that way they could please both audiences
They should keep the pricing grounded robbing a bank should give you a realistic take amount like how much bank robbers really make from robbing banks
iirc, a clean slate was already confirmed in an interview.
I wish i will be able to transfer my GTAO characters appearance to gta 6 online or atleast make something similar to it
I want a fresh start, like the entire point is a criminal open world sandbox, I want to be a street criminal working her way up slowly by doing such jobs. what I don't want is to be saving the world from some evil mastermind or something because that just isn't GTA
More realistic cars as in stop making everything awd and add options to change drivetrain for people who want awd.
Everyone who knows, knows that FiveM's.. SixM will be the true multiplayer experience. Exactly why Rockstar brought CFX.
