Such beautiful words Jim. Thank you. I have been tearful since I learned of Rev. Graham's death. I did not have the honor of knowing him personally but felt as though I did. I grew up knowing Billy Graham. I went to many of his crusades. I had the pleasure of leading a friend down the aisle as Billy Graham gave the invitation and Just As I Am was sung. I will never forget that night. What a great man of God. I know heaven is rejoicing and Billy is finally in the arms of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
A testimony of righteousness is truly a thing of beauty. Mr. Graham's life was so stable and uncompromising in the public eye, but I feel sure that he too, struggled from attacks like we ALL have. I can feel the true appreciation from the heart of Jim Bakker as he remembers the kindness and compassion Billy showed him after prison. It is good when we as Christians, are left with people who not only talk but WALK the walk with Christ. Billy's entire life's service WAS that journey; but in his own humility he would never have wanted or allowed that anyone esteem him, but only praise the Father. Thank you Jim Bakker for sharing the special bond of friendship you shared with Billy Graham. It has only made Billy's memory more dear. God Bless - Paula Clark
Praise God for Billy Graham, while he was with us he ministered Gods word, he helped us understand Gods word and dedicated his life to walking with Jesus Christ and leading souls to salvation in Jesus Christ our precious Messiah. Praise God for this holy man....!!!
