Hey My microwave make that humming/buzzing noise when the door is close & not even in operation; I have change all the 3 door switches & when I close the door it still trips the breaker.. Anything else it could be
My roomie stopped heating his coffee each morning by opening the door of microwave on it's way of running and then left with the door open . Several weeks later , one day , I found it still made sound after I closed the door . And the "cancel " button doesn't work anymore . I think it will stop after it run over the remainning time but actually I was wrong . Several hours later , I found it is still making humming nnoise . I opened the door ,the sound stopped . It was so hot ! and smelled badly like burning of wire . I have to unplug the microwave to stop it . I have thought I can reprograme it . I plugged again to run the microwave . This time I can stop it by pressing cancel button and can still hear the humming sound . I can't wait to unplug it .
Cool video thanks dude. Had this question, knew it had to do with the transformer. Wouldn't of guess it was because of the magnetic field vibrating. I guess it also would have been kinda nice to know what a microwaves typically step the voltage up to but isn't relevant to the question so it makes sense.
I hear the humming sound in my moms room quite often
Why does your mum have a microwave in her room
I think she is having fun
