I know this board has been absolutely kicking your arse these last few months. But the end result... for a board that is based around pre coloured mdf buildings, the finished article is a masterpiece. You've done an outstanding job, and those LED street lights, the dead whale, and those waves are the best details that really make the board in my opinion.
This has to be without a doubt the coolest gaming board that I have ever seen in my 35 years of Gaming. Congratulations sir for this masterpiece. Bravo
Brilliant build Dave! Call of Cthulu and Innsmouth sprang to mind in the first 2 seconds of the vid. You definitely gave if a Lovecraftian horror feel. Excellent effort. Now to try this style in my own build...🦇
You knocked that out of the park, fantastic build. I appreciate all the effort you put into that and hope you have many a great game on it. As soon as the intro started I thought of playing the Cthulhu RPG and reading the books so many years ago, it oozes atmosphere.
The kind of board that'll make any Eldritch God happy with moist sloppy noises, great stuff! I've recently started Malifaux (English Ivan gang) and looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
It is so awesome it made me feel jealous, which is rare. So just wanted to let you know in my opinion, that is one of the most outstanding creations i have seen in a while, great job brother!
This board came up amazing. The theming worked out absolutely superb and i love the camera work showing off the end product too. it would be impossible not to get drawn into the setting for anyone playing on that board. Absolutely fantastic. I hope once the stress settles, you can sit back and appreciate just how well this all came out in the end.
I know this board was kicking your arse but, man it was worth it. Before you'd even said anything I'd thought that's totally Innsmouth! Great job, it's spot on.
I'm actually enjoying the amount of wood cutting you've been doing. I think part of it's the creative profanity, it's really top notch. Also, that Clutch gig was a lot of fun
1:29 I thought "cutting wood" was intended as a euphemism; so imagine my surprise, when Dave proceeds to cut wood. What a great video and a wonderful board. Playing by street light, in a darkened room, could be fun.
Mate..... that is EPIC!!! Love the board but love your editing on the videos too. So good. I'll be joining your patron! I'd oive to do a project like this.... but smaller! So have so many questions about iso/water mixtures and sealing the textured sand etc. Brilliant video!
I also subscribed, then you mentioned two of my favorites bands in almost the same breath and I simply had to smash my face into my screen. I just... Had to happen
Incredible build... but I have to ask. That number playing through the entire video. Good god the zone that puts me in, Ive tried to find it but no luck. Come back and watched this video 10x times alone bc of it. Thx man and have a good weekend!
And as usual Dave pulls it off in the final stages and under atmospheric lighting , actually looks appropriate to the grim dark satanic look its meant to appear as . Cheers Dave for sharing. Now where is it going to be put , a your studio does not have that wide shelving, unless you place it vertically against a wall?
Another fantastic video, really like the Lovecraftian New England look of the board. I've been making little unit display boards for a bit but thanks to your tabletop making videos I think I'm ready (or cocky enough) to try making a 4*4 Lord of the Rings board.
Hahahahahaha haaaaahahaha I fkn LOVE your editing. This is copy and follow up on my other comment about this. BUT YOU GUY ARE A GENIUS. You should be in hollywood making milions as world class director.
Love the video, some great vibes there. I have to say the music choice is bang on, fits the atmosphere perfectly. I know you invested a lot of time and effort in the build but it shows, it's epic!
I'd live there! Very cosy, kind of Innsmouthy. Can you build a life size one? When that Tenchu soundtrack kicked in............ I knew it was, from the start, even though I have not heard this version... I love the setting and the atmosphere of the board..
Love all your videos, didn't get to watch this one till now because... life. The Lovcraft feel for this board is just spot on!! Are the Patreon vidos available later or do they get deleted in quick order? I'd love to see you paint those MOTU miniatures (hard to get that game living in the US, but I'm going to find a way). I just got a new job and would love to help reimberse you for the free joy I've been sponging from you till now.
I'll have you know that I'm watching this vid after you mentioned it was a Malifaux board on The Painting Phase lolol Though I can readily see viewership on Gundam vs warhammer anything...
Just a tip. You should probably get rid of the "fuck!" in the intro. Because of that stupid new rule of not swearing at the beginning of the video, or you get instantly demonetized.
Part of the attraction of wargaming and TTRPGs as a hobby is the absence of any heavy lifting. Or that's what I thought until I saw you lumping that board all over the place!
You have the same attitude doing this i would. Of course, you actually do it whilst i want to but realise i lack the skill and patience. An excellent project anyway. I love me some innsmouth
@@MSPaints These kinds of projects would have been great back when I had access to a woodshop. Looking to build some thematic Warcry boards but will be limited simpler materials in my little apartment. Thanks for the inspiration. Huge fan of all things Lovecraft too.

Thanks JQ! It has been kicking my ass! And it thankfully came together at the end!
The LEDS are amazing for sure. They set the entire thing to the next level.
"Dein Epoxid Harz" translates to "Your epoxy resin" Great build!
Upon first reading this I thought it was an Ork talking about explosive hazards.
So, I've been a lurking fan for a while, then find out you're a Clutch fan.
This completes me.
Unreal!!!! That's a masterpiece!
Thanks mate!
The street lights are amazing. I love it
Cheeeeeeers mate!
Buddy, you do a hell of a job. You should be proud. Thanks for making great videos for us.
That water, amazing. What a board! Stunning, fully captures the vibe of that lovcraftian eerieness. Great video! Cheers
That’s a great malifaux board! ;)
Wow, the whale totally ties in the horror aspect. Great job!
You really knocked that out of the park mate. The board is so atmospheric !!!
You really are pushing the limits.
Certainly felt like i was at my limit with this'un Phillipe!
This has to be without a doubt the coolest gaming board that I have ever seen in my 35 years of Gaming. Congratulations sir for this masterpiece. Bravo
Thank you mate! Big statement! I’ll take it! ❤️🐸
I just had a massive nostalgia flashback from the Tenchu 3 Soundtrack at 9:48 :o
Brilliant build Dave!
Call of Cthulu and Innsmouth sprang to mind in the first 2 seconds of the vid.
You definitely gave if a Lovecraftian horror feel.
Excellent effort.
Now to try this style in my own build...🦇
Yeah I was getting similar vibes to the Fishing Hamlet from Bloodborne...which, obviously, takes its inspirations from Shadow of Innsmouth.
lovely board and video!
Cheers Bill!
This looks great

Dude - Mordheim & Clutch in the same video. Oh my lord my eye balls and ear balls were so happy
This board looks amazing!
Dude, well done. This is fantastic and the resin turned out so great too. Worth the ball ache man
I wish more content creators had your honesty. Great board because you definitely put the effort into it.
It is so awesome it made me feel jealous, which is rare. So just wanted to let you know in my opinion, that is one of the most outstanding creations i have seen in a while, great job brother!
Thank you mate!
Give me more of that sexy cinematic anamorphic goodness - lovely board dude!
The key's in the name - ana-MOAR-phic!
Awesome board dude love the way you crafted the waves
Siiiick man love it. Used to be so easy to get pink foam at my BnQ then it just vanished one day :(
WOW! this board is really well done, and very atmospheric 🤯
whale turned out amazing, great idea

Oh my that is a gorgeous board. Well worth the wait thanks mate
Amazing.
Hot diggity, that's a belter. You have very rapidly become my favourite hobby UA-camr. Cheers for the awesome videos.
Thanks Bass! I appreciate the kind words!
Epic mate, very impressive!
Amazing. I love it.
Beautiful, man!
Wow, that board looks amazing, I love it!
Banging video, truly inspiring table build, and a Clutch reference! Best content ever!
Fantastic board build mate! So much atmosphere! Production values are top tier as usual!👍🏻
Absolutely amazing video as always love your content
Christ this inspiring
Dude, the quality of your production just blows me away. How do you film this good on your own? O do you have someone that helps you with the camera?
Mostly all just me. The programmable slider helps! Set it going and run around the front of it!
Never thought I hear a track from Tenchu in one of your videos.
Absolutely fuckin awesome brother!
Love it 😍
I also subscribed, then you mentioned two of my favorites bands in almost the same breath and I simply had to smash my face into my screen. I just...

You have made a great board, looks perfect for Mordheim, and I am sure this could be a city in the Age of Sigmar setting too.
Beautiful. Just absolutely fucking beautiful
Town has a real Disco Elysium vibe to it as well
Incredible build... but I have to ask. That number playing through the entire video. Good god the zone that puts me in, Ive tried to find it but no luck. Come back and watched this video 10x times alone bc of it. Thx man and have a good weekend!
Looks like Innsmouth. Oh wait Dunnsmith, sorry. Or maybe Imbocca...?
And as usual Dave pulls it off in the final stages and under atmospheric lighting , actually looks appropriate to the grim dark satanic look its meant to appear as . Cheers Dave for sharing. Now where is it going to be put , a your studio does not have that wide shelving, unless you place it vertically against a wall?
Be a vertical storage for a few months and will probably have to sell it to make space!
Oh no! Another great video!

Love some cosmic horror
What is th emusic played during the wiring part??? NEED IT! PLEASE
NYC Hub Rap from Vampire Redemption
Very nice board what music is playing?
That depends on which part of the video you’re referring to, bubba!
And now I need to reinstall Dark Corners of the Earth.
Install Deus Ex while you’re at it. Might as well. I think I reinstall it every weekend!
Deus Ex with the revision mod was like a whole new game for me. So once I've finished DCOTE, then Deus Ex, I should do VTM: Bloodlines, right?
Hahahahahaha haaaaahahaha I fkn LOVE your editing. This is copy and follow up on my other comment about this. BUT YOU GUY ARE A GENIUS. You should be in hollywood making milions as world class director.
I would have settled for film composer tbh baha
@@MSPaints man you have a talent. You trully do.
@@MSPaints music is from that postapo game. Love that one
Tenchu? Noice.
LOVE CLUTCH!
is that Spyro music in the background? at 10:55
can you do a 40k ocean world.
Fuck! This is amazing!
Clutch lil
That's a brilliant board Dave.
Looks very Lovecraft
Thanks Tom!
Loving the vampire the masqurade redemption Prague music in there!
TO THE ABYSS WITH THEE!!

🐸🐸 no more boards now, Jambalaya! I can’t make any more!
@@MSPaints No more boards!
... Maybe just one more... just a wafer thin one.. a cheeky little 6x4 😆
I love the Tenchu music
Vamp masquerade redemption also
14:53 What song is this? I tried Shazam, but no luck…
H.P. Lovecraft would be proud.
Space in a terrain guys house??? WHATS THAT??? I have about 100 totes both in my house and out in the garage. Ya I have a problem:)!!!
Hope you don’t get hit with the new UA-cam swearing demonetization, the new rules aren’t great
Oh. Yes. 🤩 My friend got me into Mordheim a few years ago, would LOVE to play it on a board like this. Amazing work as always!
The coast is brilliant, but it's really more of a model to look at, than use in miniature combat games.
What a fantastic gaming board! Killer work, man.
Thanks mate! Appreciate it!
I can't get over how fantastic it all looks! And the way everything is filmed, so much talent going on here!
I'd live there!
Very cosy, kind of Innsmouthy.

I love Clutch, saw them in Baltimore Maryland a few months back. This is a nice board, could run a Innsmouth game on this one too.
It's looks very lovecraftian, more than mordheim. But it's incredible nonetheless ! ;)
I'm glad you finally got it out! Also the board.
I also saw Clutch and Green Lung on that tour. Absolutely on fire.
**zip THUD!!**
Love clutch, from Beale st to Oblivion album 👌🏻
What a sick build!
btw "Mein Epoxid harz" -> "My epoxy resin"
It's a testament to our love for this hobby knowing that it will kill us from high blood pressure and we still devote ourselves to it.
Damn, got directly Shadow over Innsmouth vibes.
Got a new subscriber with the magic word, “Malifaux” so can’t wait to see what you create for it!
Great work sir, and well worth the wait.
Love the desaturated colour palette here and the moss seaweed works particularly well.
Wow.
So my evening has just been planned with a cup of tea and watching these videos...
Might need multiple trips to the kettle! I got some long’uns! Thank you for watching
Great vid and great board! As for the math, a 3x3 board is 9 sq ft, and a 4x4 board is 16 sq ft, so yeah--7 extra sq ft, not 1. 😄
Yeyeye, I literally never ever thought about square footage before hahaha. Im an absolute plank!

17:49 I feel this pain. A while back, the family and I were hauling just box after box of laminate floor tiles, to floor my sister's house.
Yoooo! Nice choice of music! This was my FAV song from Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines!!!
Such a great tune!
Dein Epoxid Harz means your epoxi or epoxi for you. Greez from Germany
