Grand Central Scent-Station (Montana)
This is a combination mink and otter latrine, and where a mtn lion made a scrape to boot. It is also a landing spot where lions and other species cross the creek on a log.
Does the fact that different species mark there suggest communication between species? Or is this just an unusually convenient spot for all to mark? Maybe lions mark there because the log bridge makes it a well used travel route, and maybe mink and otter mark there because it's a level, grassy spot (much of the creek bank is covered with dense shrubbery).
The footage is from two different cameras facing the same latrine from different directions.
