I'm glad i watched your videos. It was either a daiwa ags or the p5 dark sleeper. I went ahead and got the p5 dark sleeper and paired it with daiwa steez a 100 for a killer combo.
Na man I wouldn’t run anything on this rod that’s 1oz. You want a stellar 1-2oz glide bait Megabass P5 rod get the Mark 56. It’s incredible for the 4oz and down glides!
From Pete, The Dark Sleeper P5 is much lighter and feels more sensitive than the Orochii Braillist. I would consider the Braillist more of a true Carolina/Football jig rod. The Dark Sleeper would shine more with compact/finesse presentations. Both will handle all of the above just one more than the other.
Absolutely. I wouldnt say its the best heavy cover swim jig rod but if you're fishing grass lines or over the top of grass you'll be okay. I fish river smallmouth a lot and have used it for swim jigs up to 3/8, spinnerbaits, flukes, spook type baits, keitechs, sleeper craws. Its super versatile.

I’ve found it to be a great lighter hook swim jig rod with the way the tip somewhat stays loaded.
More of these videos please . Different brands
That's the plan! More are on the way
Please do Oneten stick and Bait finesse🤝
How would this compare to the Madbull?
Much softer than the mad bull
Can it be used for small - medium swimbaits, 1 ounce swimbaits/ glide baits?
Does amazing with finesse dragging jigs, Keitech swimbaits, and spinnerbaits. Doesn’t really like anything over 3/4 oz.

If your looking for a P5 rod that’s shorter for any glide 2-4 oz also check out the tequila baccarat it’s 7’ but runs a 3-4oz glide like a dream!
@@codycantrell2780could you throw buzz bait?
@@avocato2829depends on weight and hook gauge. 3/8 oz buzz would work fine. Personally like longer rods for that technique tho.
