- On today's episode of Jersey Digs, the Crew explores a series of old homesites nestled deep into the woods. Using the Nokta Legend and Simplex+, they manage to recover several relics and coins. Enjoy the watch! #metaldetecting #nokta #treasure #coin #subscribe #noktalegend #noktamakrodetector #newjersey #silver #history #explore
That's a "carriage shaft tip" @2:32. Search it... Very common here in Lancaster County. Cool find!
Thank you! Always learning when it comes to relics being mostly a beach and park hunter for the last few years. Much appreciated! Any idea of the age for it?
If u find the wheats, you can find silver
The glass lid is for an old mason style jar. They had a wire latch that would hold it onto the jar.
Thank you! I was happy to see a date confirming the history of the land
Good Morning Guys , went back and watch your video again and have to tell you, " WELL DONE" I have done very little relic hunting and i really enjoyed the hunt almost as much as beach hunting but at 78 years young i get around a little better on the beach, lol . Look forward toward your next video and thanks for the Sub.
Hey WW, thanks for watching through it again! I've watched through it a handful of times myself. I am pretty new to relics and learning them is much harder than learning coins, and even at that I still consider myself novice. Can't wait for that warm weather to come and depositors to flood the beaches again. Looking forward to getting out with you soon.
Seems about right yep, that pager was definitely from 1812 😂😂😂 not even the pagers I had growing up look that old 😅
Great video guys!
keep it up 👍🏽
I like how no one said anything about that till you did😆 thanks for watching man! - Chris
let's go let's go treasure and adventure ✌👵
Yeah grandma Kelly! Thanks for your fandom😁
it was cool to see what you find left a big like
Thanks! We'll be doing a few more hunts along these lines
"I'm leaning back...like Fat Joe" 😂 love that song 😅
DO THE ROCKAWAY! Lmao I was hoping someone would appreciate that one sure gave myself a chuckle when editing. Thanks for watching!
Great hunt my brother take that brooch clean it with CLR and then polish it up and it will look great good luck to you bro
He Melesio, appreciate your viewership! Yeah I'm just getting to those finds here and will take your advice. Happy hunting my friend
Nice hunt didn’t know places like that still existed back east. There has to be some old coins there. With some colonial potential.
Oh they do but they're very hard to find in my area. It's been well developed and the history tends to hide on private land. Folks aren't too fond of allowing us to hunt their homes so finding sites like this is a rarity. Just subbed to your channel. Thanks for watching!
@@JerseyDigs Thank you. Living in the intermountain west I'm geographically challenged. Romans never walked here, and settlers of European decent didn't settle here until the mid 1800"s or later.
@@MetalDetectingUnedited-lh7bm hm that makes it tough definitely. Are you strictly a relic hunter? Might be worth switching focus to modern valuables
@@JerseyDigs that is where I’m at. I hunt local parks and schools. I find exactly what you would expect most of the time and that is fine by me. My videos are so I can answer that age old question. “What sounded different between this nickel and the last or next pull tab?”
Sweet video brother!
Thanks, Drew! Always appreciate the compliments friend
Great find. Continue with your hunting.
Thanks, Felix!
Hello guys , would love to hook up with you guys for a hunt
White Water! I know you through our mutual friend, James. He's shown me some of your finds great work. Just subbed to your channel. I'd be happy to team up one of these days. You're primarily a beach hunter right? Wouldn't mind at all would be great to meet you
Definitely a reins guide
I love your videos. Great finds .
Thanks, Jeff! Your fandom is much appreciated!
you found a buggy break lol not an ox nob
I know, I know lol. I suck.
Great work gentlemen 👏
🧑🎤
Old canning lid
Yup! Thank you for the info. Always learning thanks to people like you!
1940’s Ford
Hi Gary, would the Ford Deluxe Convertible make sense for this? Thanks for the info!
That was an antenna bottom mount
Lmao I thought as much after watching the video. Fooled Pulltab!
@@JerseyDigs hey I'm not a fool!
That ox knob is a buggy brake
You sure of that? This is the third I've come across that look like this across various farms and homesites.
@@JerseyDigs yes I'm positive, ox knob is shorter
I agree buggy brake. The slopped wearmark is indicative of that item. Ox knob are shorter and rounder. Both are great finds anyways. Enjoyed the video
@@DroppedandForgotten I agree now I'm sitting here and it's all adding up lol. Thanks for the information I've learned so much from everyone since starting this channel
@@diggingnashvegas thank you. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with me.
