Thanks for a vid that's not just distorted thrashing, nice to hear the cleans as well.
+Dean Hollingsworth thx for your kind words
+Cyril Tarquiny Almost hard to believe that nice clean sound is coming from that! Even the crunch sounded too good to be true? For $100? Nice.
+Cyril Tarquiny Which one do you personally think would be the most versatile tone-wise? I need something for a small apartment, and plan on running a few effects pedals like chorus and overdrive. Mainly looking for good, reliable quality and great sound without spending a while lot?
+Daniel Stone hello, the Mojo or the Purple wind would be a good choice if you want to use them with pedals.
I really liked what I read online. Before ordering I wanted to watch some vids. Your video was the first one and I'm already sold on it. Thank you for making this fantastic demo. Super nice quality vid!
this is a really nice amp head but not good if you go directly to return using a preamp pedal
Nice demo, how about direct on mixer?
Awesome! How have you connected the Hotone to your audio interface? Are you micing a cabinet I can't see?
Great demo! I actually sold my tube amp to get this tiny amp head to put on my board. All my pedals sound great through it. Can't beat the sound for its price. I run the line out to two DI's for live straight to the mixer, works perfectly!
have you tried out the siva boogie? I want to buy one for nice and clear cleans. I like the sound of this one, but it would be awesome to hear you oppinion on the siva.
great amp.. but gut just 2 questions.. how does this amp take pedals..i mean overdrive,, disto ,, n' fuzz pedals??.. n' is it good idea and worth to record in a studio with this amp?? ..I'll appreciate someone replies..t-you =)
really gr8 channel!thank you!
May someone help me, I have a question: How does this amp sound with high gain pedals like the Surh Riot?
Fuck yeah, I play those Bryan Adams tunes often!
That is some tasty playing.
Très belle démo et super son
Can you use this as a practice amp? just with some headphones?
bought one after hearing this video..... reminds me of a fender I had years ago.....and for the price it's a no brainier!
Hi! sounds great. May I know what is the signal chain? Guitar -> Hotone Head -> monitor? I would like to know where did that cable lead to! thanks so much
Guitar - Amp - Torpedo - Universal Audio
Great demo dude. How did you recorf this? Can you use the headphone out?
Aidan Duncan The line out is very noisy. Also, there’s a loud thump when you turn the amp on which might damage your speaker. I would suggest to look for something else.
Great demo. Thank you!
Thank you
What's the song name at 02:33 ?
great demo im going to buy one today
How does it sound in headphones? Does it need a cab simulator?
nope
well... but how was it recorded? through a cab and miced? direct to a computer?
It's captured with mics. Cab is a vintage Marshall 412.
Can i record with it Thru line out to my mixer, without a cab? I will use a british invasion just for home record/studio.
Nice demo. Really nice playing. From the sound of it, it seems this amp performs well having it set just close to breakup and using a boost pedal to push it into overdrive without massively jumping in volume. Would you say that is the case?
I'm considering one of these used in such a way into a small ISO cab for live use, fed to the PA. Basically a portable replica of my recording setup, so I can have a comparable tone on stage.
You'd probably have far less hassle taking a line out from the effects send of the amp into something like a mooer Radar or a Bluguitar Blubox and then feeding this into the desk.
getting ready to order one. Just what I need for the bedroom. But gotta ask, what's that song at the end starting at the 2:25 mark? Something by Bryan Adams? Making me a little nutz trying to remember.
John Eagle I want to know that too
J E from Reckless album. Tina Turner duet with Adams. It's Only Love
