YES THE TRILOGY. Director and Vietnam Veteran, Mac Singleton hear “Anymore” and contacted Travis about a concept of using his three songs (Anymore - Tell me I was Dreaming - If I lost you) and use this as Mac’s story of what Veterans go through when they return from war. It is beautiful. I will post for you.
I was going to add link to trilogy but I see I'm a bit slow. Yes Kitana, these should be watched in order and should be the original videos. Even if you don't "react" to it you need to see them to understand the story behind them
When my mom died 15 years ago I was a stupid teenager and the last time I talked to my mom we were fighting and I know it sounds weird but this was a song that helped me get past her death. But I miss her and this song makes me think of her cause I was such an idiot and never got to say sorry and I love you to her
Randy Travis the man who saved country. Deep baritone voice. Get on him before its too late. "1982" "Three wooded crosses" "walked on water" list could keep going and going
You need to do the original video for Anymore then Tell Me I Was Dreaming and then If I Lost You It's become known as the Travis Titt trilogy and it's a continuing story throughout all 3 songs.
I saw him twice in concert. Once with the band and once acoustic. The acoustic show really showcased his guitar, playing skills and his voice beautifully. He is without a doubt one of the most underrated artists of his genre for his time....... And I have seen a lot of shows from all different genres!
No offense but greatness doesn’t need critiquing. One of the greatest songs ever written and one of the most amazing voices that’s ever recorded.. and I’m not even a country fan
yes this song anymore is part of a trilogy anymore, tell me i was dreaming ,if I lost you. yes please react to all three if you can and also his daughter sings as well they do a lot of duets together her name is Tyler Reese Tritt one of the songs they recorded together is called sometimes love is just not enough. p.s tell Donavan all men go through this he makes all the woman swoon.
I've been a member of the Country Club for 30 years now. Travis is 1 of the most diverse country song wtiter/performers ever. Bad timing is the 1 thing that hurt him. He came out same time as Garth. Alan Jackson and Clint Black. Lost in shuffle for been an outlaw. Not bowing down to record labels
Definitely a favorite. Back then guys didn’t mind a country singer making their girls sweet in some places. Because they either profited from it or took inspiration from the singer and/or their songs.
He always performs the hell out of this beautiful ballad of undying love! It’s my favorite of his but he had so many other hits so I’d love for you to go down the Travis Tritt rabbit hole!
Where Corn Don’t Grow is my fave Travis Tritt song, has a lot of wisdom. He grew up singing in southern churches, black and white, and you can really hear that gospel influence in his music, love it.
If you get a chance you need to check out Vince Gill. His song whenever you come around is good place to start. I'm sure you will also get a lot of requests for Go Rest High on that Mountain. He wrote that song after his brother and another country singer Keith Whitley passed away. Ricky Skaggs and either Patty Loveless or Allison Krause provide accompanying harmony that with make you say wow more than you usually do LOL. Depends on the version you choose on which lady is singing. The official video is Patty I believe.
the wife and I saw Keith just a couple of weeks before he passed. He was a little bitty fella. Barely 5 ft and 100 lbs. But he had a big voice. I was huge fan. Miami My Amy, I Never Go Around Mirrors, Stranger to the Rain, Nothing at All.
This man, Travis is the ultimate performer. I saw him live in Grand Junction, CO at Country Jam years ago. He followed Reba (stellar performance, as well) and sang a full hour and half past the end of the show. /We were under the stars late at night and his voice just cut through the darkness. It was powerful. And speaking of Reba, she was just as impressive. All that volume out of a little wisp of a woman. Best concert I’ve ever attended.
The album is called "A Man and his Guitar". Great album, it's like a great is hits. Except he does it without his band for back up. Just TT and his guitar. Listen to "Where Corn Don't Grow"
You should have seen him in high school...I grew up in the same neighborhood / area as this guy....way out in the sticks. There is a road named after his family, Post Oak Tritt Road, out in East Cobb County Ga. Its not the sticks anymore unfortunately.
I'm so glad you not only reacted to this song, but you reacted THIS version of the song. This is one of my favorite live performances ever. Travis Tritt is amazing. So underrated.
found you tonight for the first time from another song, after originally looking for reactions to this song. Your reaction to Cowgirls Don't Cry absolutely floored me. I have loved the song for years and it is my 2yr old daughters favorite song. My wife lost her dad shortly after we met and I never associated the song as emotional to her until I saw your reaction. She is so stoic and strong that it didn't connect for me. As soon as I came across your reaction to that, I started binge watching your reactions and a lot of them are to songs/videos that I have shared with her. Travis Tritt was one of the very first artists that I shared with her so seeing you had him on your channel made it an instant "Must See" video. Thank you for hanging yourself out there emotionally for those of us that experience music in the same manner.
Please do more Travis Tritt anything he sings is great but my favorite is between and old memory and me. And please do the other two songs that go with this tell me I was dreaming and if I lost you the original videos
I had the pleasure if seeing him live in concert once on the beach. When he got to this song he just played his guitar and smiled. The crowd sang to him louder than the sound system.
❤ Travis! Have since the early 90s. As a fan club member I got to meet him several times. Not only is he amazingly talented, but he's also a very nice person! So yes, he has that charisma❣ Thanks for posting!
So, Gitana. You're basically saying that you liked Travis Tritt enough that you wanted to jump him? Love love love your honest and unfettered reactions. Also grateful that Donovan is such a good sport. Thanks for the laughs!
Travis Tritt was one of the BEST top three performers in the 90s. Unfortunately, he was really never recognized because he refused to allow Nashville/Hollywood to corrupt his music and soul. He refused to move to Nashville. Because he refused to be the music industry's puppet they made sure he rarely won awards.
I saw Travis in concert at a small venue in Orlando. We sat center stage, about 20 feet away. He was awesome. Just he and his guitar for 2.5 hours. Incredible.
I have always melted at his voice! I was finally able to see him live and it was all I could ever hope for. Yes do "The Trilogy!" So glad to hear about Donovan's mom! I will continue to pray for healing. Stay safe and I hope your daughter's knee is better soon.
You are a compassionate person and express a lot of love in your heart. The trilogy will be a tough one to get through. Have tissues ready. Travis has some amazing music love most everything is sings. The songs don’t relate as much to each other as the videos tell a continuous story.

One of country's greats... One of the greatest country songs ever. In my humble opinion :)
Most definitely
All 3 in the series are the best.
Agreed, though my personal favorite is “here’s a quarter, call someone who cares.”
Randy Travis the man who saved country. Deep baritone voice. Get on him before its too late. "1982" "Three wooded crosses" "walked on water" list could keep going and going
This is my favorite song of his. Beautiful.
Travis Tritt Song title Here's a Quarter call someone who cares....

Here's a quarter was definitely me
Mr Travis lives near me! I hear great things about him also his daughter sings, and together they are great!! ❤️Tennessee

Ten Feet Tall and Bulletproof is also a good one.
Trouble
You really should listen to TT "Great Day to be Alive"...its so very good. A anthem that can bring a person threw thought times.
