How to replace a vinyl outside corner

In this video I demonstrate a more in depth way of replacing a vinyl outside corner post. Towards the beginning of the video I also do a short demonstration the more popular way of replacing your corner. This is pretty much a full length video that is packed with vinyl siding tips and tricks that I have developed over my 15 years of experience! That downspout fitting is backwards where it enters the long straight spout

Hey, you know what? You are right…. I just put it back together like it was. I guess a little caulking could help it out there. I’m not sure if it leaks at that joint, but there is a good possibility it does. Thanks for pointing that out lol.

Vinyl siding is such garbage… I can’t believe this stuff is used on new homes…can’t even handle the weight of a ladder without cracking! Shameful

Mostly I was concerned about denting it (which can be mostly worked out if you know what you’re doing). Wood siding can also dent and crack from ladders. Vinyl siding has its limitations, as do all siding products.
