Вставка
- Опубліковано 26 кві 2024
- We do a dyno comparison on this MK7.5 GTI, going from completely stock to Stage 2 software with Tunezilla software. This was done on 91oct and as you can see the results are impressive. The GTI definitely should have came like this from factory. Tunezilla offers a ton of features and options with their MK7 GTI and Golf R software. Flexfuel, selectable exhaust crackle, map switching, custom tuning, auto start stop shut off, and so much more.
For 10% off your Tunezilla Software be sure to use the link below.

Finally able to pass on some savings for you guys on a product that we use and stand behind.

Were the owners of this beautiful Gti, were more than thrilled with the service & the performance. Highly recommend Co- Motorsports 🤟
This color has to be one of the nicest I’ve seen on mk7s along with their other blue option
Appreciate it 🤟
Great video guys! It’s been awesome tuning with you guys over the years with all your cool projects!
That's a good way to do a sponsorship/affiliate video without destroying trust. Instead of saying yes to the first thing you come across, you promote the thing you've used for many years already. If I had a modern GTI and not a 2001 Cupra 1.8T then I would seriously consider this software.
I can vouch for Malone tuning, i went to them for a STG 1 b5.5 04 Passat 4motion 1.8T wagon all the way over here in Massachusetts and it woke her up! I praise Malone even though they are on the complete opposite side of the country 😂 Great job guys!
I run Tunezilla 93oct stage2 on my MKIV Jetta 1.8t and love it, best money I spent on it so far as power adders are concerned. With a few supporting mods she rips for a work whip. I convinced girlfriend to get a 1.5 flash for her mk5 tdi commuter and it simply changed the car. Suddenly coming out of a corner at 60kph in 3rd/ 2000rpm meant smoke and leaving black marks on the road. Customer service has been fast when I’ve had questions. So props to a local to me company making a “Mark”.
Love my stage 2+ and DSG map on my TT, thank you Dave for the install. I have a few modified VAG cars in my yard and this tune is the best. Need to change my Malone stickers though to Tunezilla, hint, hint. LOL
Got you.
Enjoy your videos and keep up the great work! I have been tuned by them for a while now and by far the best tuning company for the 1.8t and 2.0t platform! Setting some amazing times in my Alltrack because of them!
Awesome video! Tunezilla is working on some really cool stuff!
For sure.
Great content and knowledge here. Appreciate both you chaps.
IMPRESSIVE as HELL! These results from just a tune are crazy.
I was hoping for a little ode to Winnebago Man (with appropriate bleeps to protect monetization) dropped into the video somewhere though. Lol
Awesome results
Great video!
I used to have a 2021 CFB 7.5 GTI but sadly have to sell it loved the car 🚙 glad to see you are making one amazing
Love your guys clarity on the videos. Still love the content!
Appreciate the comments
Good stuff! 🤙
Great video, always great content. I am currently building an A4 B6 1.8T automatic, trying to find the right turbo for my build and a tune that will tune my ECU and TCU. Keep up the good work truly appreciate your videos, Still waiting on you turbo video look for 350-400hr out of my daily driver.
The tuning company they recommend sounds pretty good. Don’t go with Eurodyne Maestro unless you want it to take forever when doing dyno tunes. I think for your power goals a GT30 would be good but I’m not the expert here.
I’m trying to figure out if I can just continue to use the stock N75 valve or if I have to upgrade to something better when running a lot of boost.
Commenting to help the algorithm...love every video!
Appreciate the support
Y'all forgot that the feature pack will also include flex fuel capabilities (hardware needs to be installed) and Ethanol display on rpm gauge.
Sorry we didn't go into detail of what each stage, feature, turbo is required for each.. but it's all listed on their site. Of course there is no E sensor from factory so it will need to be added if you plan on running a flex fuel tune. No different than stage 3 software, you can't just run it without the supporting mods.
Nice Golf Color 👍 I have Vw Polo with the same color.
We fell inlove with the cornflower blue ❤️
I wish I lived near you guys, I'd have you work on my gli like doing an lsd or even awd conversion 😅 side note though, I've been thinking about switching to malone from unitronic since they seem to have more tuning options but haven't got around to it. Already tried both apr and unitronic so I haven't felt like spending a lot more for yet another tune company
Loved my 200 hp Malone tuned '11 Golf TDI. Totally makes sense for him to shift some focus to the newer VWs. Now I daydream about turbocharging my 07K Golf. Would love to see a video dyno comparison of the Spa intake vs. IE engineering intake on a na tuned 07K.
You want to donate the IE intake and tunes we'll make it happen. We have some SPA intake manifolds on the shelf.
@@COMotorsports It's in the mail. Hope 3 first class stamps is enough postage to get it there from Maine. Jk, wish I had the coin right now to buy a $8-900 intake. Kinda nuts when you can buy a couple comlplete 07Ks for that.
@@78katz you're getting ripped, were paying like $300cdn for them. Lol That's like a few singles for you guys. 🙂
@@COMotorsports Well, damn that's not bad. I guess it's only fair that you guys get a better deal on at least one thing. I think guys are just using the SPA manifold for boosted cars, so not that important. Quite a few guys seem to be running the stock plastic unit with low boost, but low boost isn't much fun.
Question.... i just did stage1 on my mk7.5 2019 GTI. Boost went from 1.2 to only 1.4 and it really feel slow. Am i just expecting too much or is this on par for a stage1?
That intake looks like it might suck harder than Clayton. Sorry somebody said that on a video a year ago and I still think it’s funny as hell lol
They tuned my TDI back in the day and she was a beast! Do you know if they can remote tune via COBB AP? I’m currently running Stratified on my Mk6 GTI.
No, they use their own cable.
Do they offer anything for e90 bmw 320d 2.0
What’s the fastest 2.5 you guys could build or have built
Catted or catless on the downpipe?
When you say “front mounted intercooler”, do you mean replacing the oem intercooler for a IE/APR type intercooler or do you mean something else entirely?
Yes replacing the stock intercooler with something better, or there are twin-tercooler that work good as well.
@@COMotorsports thank you.
can I ask an age old question, what is the best value for money for a mk6 GLI to go K04, tuned and anything that should go with supporting mods. Too much info out there and I just want a straight answer. Thanks and awesome video!
All comes down to your budget and what you're after. So only you can answer that. What I can say is there are a handful of K04 video's even one or two GLI's on our channel for you to see some real world results.
@@COMotorsports I realize this is old but what about short ratio transmissions in these cars? Is there interchangeable final drives that could shorten the gears like the mk6 golf R?
How does tunezilla flex-fuel work? Is it a canned multi-tune file that swaps between E-10/E30/E50/etc or do they custom tune it by email after data logs… if so, do they tune by email or do you need to be at a tune dealer to get custom tuning?
There is a difference between an E tune and flex fuel. Flex fuel means you can put whatever you want in the tank for E content and it will adjust the tune appropriately just like factory "Flex Fuel" cars. If you have a cable you can get custom tuning.
Our True Flex tunes self adjust for every 10% of Ethanol. Similar to others. It requires an ethanol sensor to be installed. You don't need custom tuning for the True Flex tunes.
@@tune_zilla understood, thank you for the clarification. How many times does it self adjust, for instance, if I have e90 or e85 from a barrel, will the tune adjust to those ethanol ratios?
@@adamg3911 It will adjust for every 10% But depending on which tune you have, it might max out at E60 and then anything over E60 won't net any more power. For instance, on our Stage 1 Flex Fuel for MK7.5, it runs out of headroom at around E40, and anything beyond that doesn't really net you any more power.
Hi off topic but I was hoping to pick your brain on the powermax 2 turbo with full bolt on + meth on stock motor and how much power could you possibly make on a Clubsport/7R
There's a video of one on our channel.
@@COMotorsports thanks I’ll look for it
With their software, is it possible to download it on my laptop and have the same tunes available if I had already downloaded everything on my desktop pc? Or should I do everything from that one laptop. (I don't have a laptop and might need to borrow one)
The software should recognize the vehicle and provide the files that you've purchased for it.
@@COMotorsports thanks !
Is there a huge difference from 91 to 93 my GLI when u was stage 2 on 93 made 278 and 330 unitronic tune always thought the gti had a better head and turbo
Yes there is a difference 100% between 91oct and 93oct.
prior to 2019 the gti does have a better turbo than the gli the gti also has vvt on both intake and exhaust cams while 13.5-18 gli’s only have it on one of the cams i think its the exhaust cam i forget. 19-current gli’s have the same engine as 15-21 gti’s
So for us MK7 IS38 GTI/GLI guys, that would fall under "custom tuning" from tunezilla? Kinda surprised they dont have a "standard" IS38 tune as well.
Very Unlikely, it's basically the same as an R, I'd reach out to them.
Coming...
No intercooler on stage 2? No concerns of knock due to increased IATs, especially with an open air filer sucking in hot air?
It's not sucking in hot air when the car is driving or accelerating and the air ducts point directly at the filter.
i really hate the lack of support for the GLI as compared to the GTI or Golf R.
It's because they are generally odd ball cars with a Hodge Podge of parts and different ECUs typically. Pretty much always been like that.
What plugs did you put in?
Something better than stock that’s for sure- it was about $100, so we assume iridium’s or something.
Hey man make awd 2001 gti 1.8t with 1000 hp let's smoke theme honda boyz nex project
should work on EQT tunes
Huh?
That’s a factory color!?! I might take that color over my moonstone. Might
Factory color.
HPFP+🌽= 😊
Looks like the tune is riding some limiters. Maybe it’s riding knock/turbo speed/torque limits. I’m making this comment after only watching half the video (pre DP).
Negative, graph prices otherwise. You can see in the graph if it's riding the knock sensor heavily. It's actually way smoother than stock graphs.
@COMotorsports please help me with something I bought a remanufactured mechatronic am getting lost communication can it be that there no software on the tcu ?
Bro, who cares about your screw ups? Good content I watch all of it. I have a 2005 Audi event 1.8 T sitting in my garage broke down. I need some parts. I have some money. I need some help. I am a mechanic, but I am damn clueless to these turbo cars I need some HELP !!!!!!! PLEASE!!!🙏
Some people find them enjoyable, some people like the fact that it's relatable and shows no one's perfect.
Tunezilla have horrible software.... I had my b6 passat 2.0t FSI BPY tuned with there software. Tune was 1.5 tune. My car ran horrible. I spoke with them and they told me it was my car that was the issue. They said I needed a new fuel pump... then said I needed an upgraded hpfp and a bunch of other stuff. Then I removed the tune and got a unitronic stage 2 and beautiful car ran perfect and didn't need to change or replace any parts.
MIND U THE EMPLOYEES ARE NICE AND WERE TRYING TO HELP. BUT FACTS ARE FACTS
I've tuned literally 100s of cars with Tunezilla So I can confidently say this is not true, their software is great. Clearly you had a unique situation with your car.
I had a 2006 Jetta BEW with a stage 1.5 Malone and it was amazing, never had a CEL again and my fuel economy improved. This is coming from a certified vw tech. I also had a stage 1 Malone on my 2013 Audi A4 2.0T and it was night and day. Looking to do a stage 1 on my MK7.5 Golf R.
