Ingredients for a 8 inch square pan (20x20 cm):
For the Red Velvet batter:
115 g of butter
200 g of granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp of pure vanilla extract
1 blob of red food coloring
1 tsp of distilled white vinegar
100 g of flour
20 g of cocoa powder
1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon (optional)
1 pinch of salt
1/2 tsp of baking soda
150 g of white chocolate chips
For the cheesecake batter:
250 g of cream cheese
50 g of granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp of pure vanilla extract
75 g of crème fraîche (or sour cream, or whipping cream)

Lemon juice or lime juice usually can replace it but for this recipe I don't know if it can

Hi do you use bottom or top heat of the oven while baking?
Both actually is preferred! If you can use a convection oven it would be even best 😊

Tried this recipe and adjusted it to 1.5 times to fit in a 10x10 inch pan. I left out the white chocolate chips and substituted the sour cream with greek yoghurt. They turned out amazing after refrigerating it for approximately 2 hours. Thank you so much for the recipe!

I tried this recipe twice and both are a great success! The first time it was a little bit overbaked because i was still adapting with my new oven and need to adjust the baking time. Plus, althought i don't have sour cream (wondering if i can change it to plain yoghurt?) so i always do the recipe without it, still taste wonderful. Thank you! 💕

I've followed this recipe several times and each time I take them out of the oven, they've sunk in the middle. What am I doing wrong?
hey you might be overmixing the batter as too much air can cause them to sink once they cool
Too much baking soda
I had the same problem during last 2weeks and stopped using baking soda and I also put the cake more next to the buttom of the oven and not in the right middle.
Take into account that you can't over mix the batter of the cake and try to use a larger baking tin
