34:00 Assuming the hidden aspects end up also being based on characters from other mythologies, Hermes seems unlikely. But I would put my money on us getting an Aspect of Merlin for the staff, since it is the equivalent to the sword, and Zag got the aspect of Arthur for that in the first game.

Or possibly Morgan le Fay/Morgana, for the same reason. I'm not sure if she's typically depicted with a staff, but then Lucifer isn't known for having a laser gun so maybe that part's not important.
I kinda hope you can get an Aspect of Hades for the staff. Seeing as that was his weapon in Hades 1. Well it was a spear but it looked like he cast magic with it as well.
@@jeffkiska I could see a trend where they go with the hidden aspects being the villains/rivals of the previous hidden aspects stories. Morgan for Arthur, maybe Michael for Lucifer, Gilgamesh for Enkidu, Grendel for Beowulf. Not all of them fit the potential magic theme they might want to go for, but could be cool.

I finally, only just recently, got animal familiars! I've gotten all the keepsakes and weapon aspects long ago, so I've just been doing runs grinding for grasp as I continually talk to the cat, trying to trigger it. Even had a couple moments where I thought it was going to happen, as Melinoe mentioned wondering if she was hungry yet still nothing for another couple dozen runs.
Anyway, it's nice to finally have them and the bonuses the two also grant.

When Circe's upgraded your cat, I was curious to see if it was doubling its damage, but then only saw 99 during one of its strike, so I was a bit disappointed.
Then I noticed the 2 gray DDs and wondered where the hell is that coming from... only to realize it was from Circe's bewitching the cat ! Ok, that's neat.
Also, Asa Butterfield as Icarus voice is such a great surprise ! All the other actors are doing a fantastic job as their characters, but Asa brings something truly alive to his performance (stuttering boy in love dialogs and all, probably helped that he's been doing just that for 4 seasons of Sex Education). He sounds like an actual human character whereas all the others feel like they're in a theater drama performance. Which, admittedly, is very fitting, since all the other characters are gods and demi-gods, whereas he's one of the only humans shades.
I agree that Icarus's character is especially cool. I think there is going to be a cool story between Icarus and Melinoe. :)

It's highly implied she lost an arm (the spectral one) trying to bring him back to life through the cauldron. Wondering if that's gonna get covered in a flashback.
