- Hey folks, welcome to Hades 2! I've always loved roguelikes and Hades is kind of the cream of the crop in that genre, so naturally I lost my mind when I found out that the early access build of Hades 2 silently dropped out of absolutely nowhere!
I'm not sure if this is a hot take or if it's too early to tell, but so far I'm enjoying this one even more than the first!

Supergiant already released the soundtrack to their UA-cam. It’s actually how I found out the game was in early access, because I don’t keep on top of news feeds.
The second boss’s music is INCREDIBLE. I can’t get past them because I’m rocking out to it…definitely that reason…

I'd totally watch a series of this, I didn't fully follow the first game entirely, but I really liked the artstyle, voice acting and the parts of the story I saw, so I know this game could be just as awesome.

Im writing this on the 11th of may and im not sure but i think its therm birthday 🥳
I dunno if it's active already or not, but like the first game Hades II has a setting called "God Mode", which reduces damage taken. It starts at 20% reduction, and every time you die while the setting is active raises that reduction by an additional 2%
Why would therm want to do that though? That's literally easy mode lol
@@jemsnjulz4442 well iirc he mentioned in the video he might not be good enough to experience all the game had to offer so I figured at least mentioning that an assist mode was there might help
@@jemsnjulz4442 Why not? some People are more interested in the Game's Character development and developing story, but might not be able to beat Chronos.
Locking half the reason people Like SuperGiant Games behind something that some people can't be beat would be a bad move, so add the option to make it a bit easier for those unable to beat it.
Hades Isn't Darksouls, where the challenge is part of the experience.

Personally i think the combat has lost some of its smoothness compared to 1, but besides that its a sick game
Don't want to spoil anything for meself, so I won't watch much. But I'm waiting for full release. Early access is good, but not when you want to enjoy the story. And I really enjoyed the first game Hades' story. See ya when the game comes out)
As someone who just brainrotted yesterday and played 10 hrs almost nonstop of this early access, I didn't notice anything that really seemed missing from the story so far, it's REALLY fleshed out. I'd def consider at least buying it when it's in early access, since it'll most likely be pricier when it full releases in, at minimum, a year or longer
