Those are both sexy knives! I want the both! Just got a couple pocket knives in and couple more coming. Civivi elementum 2 button lock and their Brazen and the elementum fixed blade are all coming tomorrow. Just got my pyrite bowie yesterday! These are on the list. Thanks for sharing!
I feel like the 5 is better for batoning because the thicker stock splits it apart easier and the 6 is better for feather sticks and slicing type chores. Both excellent knives and both can do any chore with ease.
Well said. I'm actually sending my 6 back (it has weird blade rolling out of the box)and hopefully they replace it with the 5. The 5 basically does everything the 6 does but is pretty much guaranteed to never snap or break on you
@@JohnLocke1776 I don’t know if they’ll replace it with the 5 because it’s their policy to replace it with the exact model and the 5 is more expensive but possibly if you send them the difference in cost. 🙏🏼
I just got into Esee knives this year. Real nice quality. I got from 4 to the junglas. I find that if I hold my knife at a 45°. It cuts through cardboard much easier than holding it at 90° to the cardboard.
Yeah is see that ESEE 5 has Flats that come down a lot more ,but as always I don't think you can go wrong with Esee Knives at all. You choose real quality indeed ‼️ I need a collection of Esee made blades.
Like the look of the Esse knives but have never used one. In Australia they are over $300 bucks. Every time there's a spare few bucks in my house along comes something to drain the fun funds before I can have fun.
Am I the only one thinking that you need to sharpen your knives? You should never have to use your knife in a sawing motion. I always carry a Benchmade Griptilian and it cuts through cardboard like a razor.

I know I'm probably in the minority, considering the huge following that the "6" has, but I actually prefer the "5". Great vid!👍
Yes the five has a locking sheath 💯😎
I loved the 6........until I saw the 5 lol. Now I want them both, but I dig the 5 better. I wish it had gray micarta like the 6 though.

Can't go wrong with an esee.
Thanx for the review.
You are welcome
What kind of work do you do to carry a Junglas 2 and a four. I usually just carry a four
Very good review I subscribe👍
Sonho em ter uma faca desta, mas no Brasil sai muito caro
