Update: The cartridge nut was welded in by minerals. Inadvertently stripped the nut with “Moen” tool. Used vinegar to soak the nut and cartridge to loosen the minerals. Soaked up vinegar by twisting up paper towels and dipping them into the hole. Heated up a flat head screwdriver to melt two grooves across from each other. Used a wood chisel that was as wide as the pipe. Used an adjustable wrench to turn the chisel counter clockwise. Cartridge nut finally loosened. I was very worried if this failed then I would have to melt all the way through both sides and pull it out piece by piece with tweezers. Remove the cartridge using your method which fortunately worked. Used a .45 bore brush to clean the threads inside the tube. One key thing that you did not mention or maybe did not have is there is a notch on the bottom of the cartridge 1458B that must line up with a notch that is in the tube. Did not realize that the first go around which led to leaking. After taking it apart and noticing the notch, I reset it and tighten the nut. Faucet worked fine after. All this took around 3 1/2 hours to complete. In a perfect world the cartridge swap takes 60 seconds. Unfortunately, a 10-year-old cartridge with caked on minerals is not so easy to remove. Thank you for the video it put me in the right direction but there were other obstacles that were not presented in your video. I hope this helps enlighten others even more who undertake this task.

The one replaced on the video was Moen 1248B. I purchased the replacement from Amazon.
