As you have spoken about infrastructure spending/creation in India. Here is data that most people aren't talking about it.
India has spent $14 trn on infrastructure in 75 years since independence. 50% of that, or $7 trn was spent in the last 9 years. Another $7trn will be spent in the next 6 years. So, in short, $7 trn in 66 years and the next 7 trn in 9 years, and 7 trn is in pipeline/planned for the incoming 6 years.

These are World Bank and Government data and if are interested you can find them on the internet. Even Modi's harshest critics agree on one unanimous thing which is "infrastructure improvements" in the last few years in India.
RRTS is the fastest-executed railway project in India, nobody in India thought about trains like Vande Bharat in India a few years ago, but they have become a reality in India. Yeah, the production of vande Bharat is slow, but now tenders are being issued to private players so, the introduction will speed up in the coming years.
Modi's success lies behind the fact that he worked non stop from bottom up. No one can take that from him. Love him or hate him, there are not many with the same passion and connection with the common man.

Guys i just want share few things: Most of my leftist friends in college find “SOCIAL DISHARMONY” as the only reason for not voting modi. For some reason Social disharmony sidelines everything that modi’s cabinet has done. Let me mention few things. In the times when entire world is divided into two, Mr Jaishankar has managed to keep alliance with two major powers in the world(US & RUSSIA). Mr Gadkari has developed excellent roads, bridges, tunnels etc. The pace at which he developed these infras is insane. Mr Ashwini Vaishnav’s Railway infra, deals, projects in co-operation with other countries etc. Digital economy that has flabbergasted the world(UPI), the amount of startups etc. Everything is changing rapidly. So, is “Social disharmony” only the government’s fault? I think NO!! It is the fault of society. If the local goons spew hate, if we as a society are strong, none can cause communal tensions. So, according to me, if we fail to reelect this magical cabinet(Not just Modi), we will miss out on a lot of things. For me, Modi’s government(at least now) is the best unless there comes a worthy alternative.
PS: Me & friends(leftists) are no experts. We just have healthy discussions while having lunch. So, any constructive criticism to my comment is welcome. It will also enlighten me.

He is right our academics are stupidly built , few weeks ago I saw 8th grade academics book it is still stuck on old data nothing new ! Same goes with government exams and universities too. We need to level up if we want to be at top, he is also right we don’t need foreign universities here rather we just need to uplift the system , Like DRDO we need more private players who are patriotic in nature and partly partnering with gov agencies, more flow of investment on new young ideas will revolutionize us for sure. I hope these all happens quickly.

There is so much opposition and resistance, that change will be slow.There are practically no private educational institutions with rhe regional language as the medium of instruction . The parents may not be able to speak English but they insist on admitting their wards into English medium schools. This is the current scenario at the ground level

My problem with Modi is mainly regarding his lack of "integrity". There are often things which his side says which are contradictory and his stance is variable as per the situation rather than being "integrated" across the board. Modi is also very reliant on using dishonesty to keep a good image.

I agree with Rajeevji, we do not need foreign universities here, we have enough talents to develop our own system of education, our own research in defense and other technologies, but we have to plan this ahead seriously!
Ideals of Western society is being thrust upon the locals in India. I remember being taught Shakespear's MacBeth which I was not able to understand and digest. However when I was taught dohas of our well known Hindu spiritual personalities it made more sense to me. It waS such foolishness for teachers to spend years of learning English literature and then impart the same to students in India who barely could relate to this kind of literature.
Even many Westerners cannot relate to Shakespeare's works. Laughable matter. Indian students must be encouraged to think if Western humanities will fit in India before they sign up for such foolishness.

Dedollarisation could be the first important step towards ensuring products are not just made in India but are also owned by India. The consistently appreciating value of the dollar seems to be a big obstacle why US companies can spend more lavishly on future technology or are easily able to buy out start ups anywhere else in the world...

The basis of humanities and social sciences, like theoretical framework and methodologies, which is how we collect and interpret the information, which is then the knowledge is eurocentric and western-centric. And more than that, the practices within the academia are eurocentric, in most of the world. India is already developing its own perspective and in the future will apply that to the education system. As an Indophile, I cannot help but feel super excited about the content like this, and the impact it has on the youth.

I guess that is why I never felt like reading history and political science in school because there weren't many people from our country mentioned in the textbooks. Secondly, reading about the mistakes done by western thinkers while forming a hypothesis and then some another person comes to the forefront proving them wrong just felt so useless when there are a ton of Indian thinkers and philosophers who have already proved it. Thankyou NCERT.

And in spite of that video, Everything Rajiv discussed, talked about in books, writings, personal meetings, conclaves speeches over the last 30-odd years is coming true today. The countless issues he has raised are factual & real that I can see for myself in my own daily life. You only need to step out of your comfort zone & see it for yourself.

@@karankotian Don't be so naive! Rajiv has talked to a lot of people including the people he didn't like or disagreed with, that was all happened years ago. He had even criticized Nityanand later as he didn't know about the activities of Nityanand. Just think about it. Anyone who worked in the media can tell you that video you're referring to, is highly edited, morphed, voice overdubbed to make it look silly. It is a total hit-job against Rajiv to discredit him when he wrote his explosive book " Breaking India ' where he exposed the christian church establishments in Dakshina Bharat, Tamil Nadu in particular, who were going full speed, with their conversion activities. Incidentally, most of the media in Tamil Nadu, was/is either owned or bankrolled by the powerful christian church establishments that tried very hard to malign decades of Rajiv's selfless service to Sanatana Dharma & Bharat with such a pathetic video.
I hope when u have information and suggestions from such learned individuals in your podcast, you do something to pass on this info to the concerned ministry.... You know tag them or the PMO or something like that

1)stop the killing the cows on Indian soil
2,) return the management of temple donations to temple corporations and trusts
3) stop candidates from running for elections in more than one seat.
4) close down all madrasas.
5) provide financial incentives for Muslims to apply for membership amog the dawoodi bohras.
6) issues new passports to only people of indigenous religions.
7) ban all foreign religions from India
8) make sanskrit the only religious language in India.
9) make it mandatory for all states to teach sanskrit, the state language and English only. Any other language is a choice and taught at own expense.
10) convert all trains to modern trains within 5 years.
11) Require all busses to have proper toilets on them.
12) stop the chewing of pan and spitting everywhere.
13) require bidets in all homes , businesses and hotels.
14) require all business and public properties to provide toilets on the premises.
15) teach Indian history in all schools in bharat 16) limit cell phones to only 18 years old and above.
Interesting that there is no suggestion by mr.malhotra on how MPs and ministers need to meet basic qualifications, past performance and non criminal background,to get a ticket for elections. Talk about chabging the training process for IAS or IFS and change in UPSC etc., but still leave the highly qualified bureaucrats in the hands of the criminals masked as MPs and ministers!

I am from Kerala, Me and my family were CPI(M) supporters, now we are frustrated by the communist ruling and their arrogance. Personally I don't think every act of the Modi government is appreciable but the truth is that there is no any other strong options than BJP. The Idea of Hinduthwa and Hindu Rashtra gives fuel to the BJP, it is the reason for a balanced performance and growth of our country. All other party's have Ideologies like socialism, communism, etc. But those principles not enough to make a feeling of nationalism and to lead to success, those party persons have some personal reasons to being in politics, but the PM is working for the nation, I have never heared a scam against this BJP government but that was not the case in UPA time, and the Nepotism is comparatively very rare in BJP.
Most of the people misunderstand that Hindu Rashtra means only India only for Hindu's. But the word Hindu in its Sanadhana dharma point of view means = A person who lives in India
Please bring him more on the show. And how people who want to lead mini projects under his directions can research, publish, share etc from anywhere in the world to help India decolonize

I dont know this person's credibility but I, who has stayed out of politics for better part of my life is starting to notice violence and bias in the system. I voted modi twice, not for the 15 lakhs or any other schemes, but because I was noticing the same issues in the system with congress at the time. Violence was more influenced by foreign agencies and promoted terror attacks, and bias towards then mega industrialists like TATA and Birla.
With BJP, I feel the same now, only that the violence is self inflicted, which is much worse. mob lynchings, riots, etc. I voted them for economic stability and they have done just the opposite. I voted them for reducing corruption, making government offices more efficient and removing unnecessary red tapes from the system, but, yet again, corruption is where it is or even more, government offices are even less efficient, understaffed and poorly managed, management being transferred again and again and the red tapes, well, they have reduced, but the impact is not showing. My mom still stands at SBI branch to withdraw money I send her, she still has to fight with ignorant staff every month. My case for membership in society I just bought a house in was benched for almost 2 years and had to spend another 50K in lawyer fees and "misc" expenses.
Economic stability has been in a sham under this government, Cash was lifeline of business back in 2016/17, especially when you are a wholesaler who has to procure goods from various vendors. I was choked out of cash in demonetization, then the complex GST laws which did not fix most of the issues like inter state good transport back in the day. then unnecessary, un called for, ever lasting lockdowns of 2020, then no lockdowns for 2021. Which brings me to deaths and other medical conditions brought upon us during 2021. It was a systemic meltdown I tell you.
Government has failed me, just like the previous one. Raising my voice has been answered with "leave this country" remarks, and so I am considering the same now. I think these people are right, this is their country and my birth in it was a mere accident. being born in a country might not entitle me to the rights of being a citizen of it. I have to be submissive of what one person on the top wants, and resisting to that submission is not an option.
