You guys remember the year Crossfit started actually implementing PED testing? Registration for participants went down by 50% that year at regional competitions because guys and girls couldn't figure out how to cycle off to test clean.
Well they've figured it out now!
That's a complete lie.
Do all cross fit athletes use gear? No. Do all professional cross fit athletes use gear? No. Do all the winners use gear? Yes.
Well said
Every single pro athlete use gear.
@@RagnarokeiroOrigi every single pro athlete ever? Unlikely
Sorry, it's called hard work
@harca6 lol, riiiiiiiight. Kind of a weird way to tell everyone you're on gear though
Genetics, hard training, diet and ALOT of gear. Question answered.
TONS OF GEAR
Gallons of gear daily
and jizz. Guzzled down.
nope, its mostly the gear....and its sickening. JUST BE HONEST.
and its OK! nobody cares because we are all tired of lizzo being called good looking.

@@vegasprogambler5336Dude yes, they are on gear. However, without great genetics, all the juice in the world won't make you look like them. Tons of guys running a lab on themselves that look like they barely lift.
Crossfits drug testing is still privatized right? Any top athlete bringing in $$$$ for the sport isnt getting banned because they use PEDS. they all use PEDs and everyone is on the same page about it.
No they don’t yall don’t realize what the human body is truly capable of and they have the most balanced protocols to get fit so why wouldn’t they have the best results it’s simple logic you just don’t have the discipline they do to keep at something

Lmao. Many crosfitter have openly talked about it after retiring.

They do test at the CrossFit games but by then your cycled off all that shit. Drugs primarily help you recover. There are drugs that help performance directly like EPO.
If I was a professional I would 100% be using drugs to recover it makes sense.
I know a lot of people that do crossfit and they are not jacked or athletic, but those sponsored "pros" are. The same goes for bodybuilding and powerlifting.
The secret is in the juice🤯
No the secret is diet and nutrition. Almost every joe I see trains hard then eats like shit gets on beers and says oh the juice.
@snapduke No, the secret IS in the juice. If you believe otherwise you are a fool.
@@snapduke nah dude. You can tell the sport is juiced to the gills because all of the top female athletes are just as jacked as the men. Don't be silly.
They also do their own programming and not the official wod's
@@snapdukelol you're an idiot.
Dane Dane Dane... come on my man. Having this conversation without discussing cycles is silly. I personally know several top pros and lots of regional athletes, they are all on some level of performance enhancement throughout their training. It has been widely discussed for some time now what many are taking... if you can't pass tests whether scheduled or randomized you simply don't know the right folks in the game. Bioidentical hormones, short half lifes, and simply knowing how to cycle outside competition windows is old nees... what is out there now is altered chemical structures that don't even show up on the most sensitive of testing parameters. Advanced training models have been around for decades, amazing physiques the same, and guess what so have PEDs, hell until the early 90s seen Anabolics and Androgenics get put on the scheduled list of illegal substances, sports of all kinds used them even down to the high school level... I know personally as our football coaches in the 80s made them regularly available to kids. Not bashing crossfit here... I'll do that to my friends in person who participate lol, just saying be transparent to the community you serve here... you mention top athletes in the video so at least acknowledge the sport is filled with the use of PEDs that help to deliver the results they achieve.
Everything is filled with it. Does that mean it's necessary for everyone? No. So why should he mention it? You can literally look like and compete like a jacked, crossfitter, by putting in the work. Just like certain branches of the military. This comment definitely looks like it should be directed towards bodybuilding. Unless you label "pre-workout" as an enhancer and you're not saying it.
@@CoolTrainerD4D oh boy, you so naive if you think military guys get jacked just by WORKING HARD
I did CrossFit for a year and learned you don't get Jacked doing the WOD.
you dont much of anything doing it "a year"
Thank you for your upload Brother I always super appreciate your content I am always glad as it consolidates my own research & understanding with a sometimes new perspective! One thing that is a shame to see is that both yourself & the crossfit athletes do not know how to row on the erg. I was trained by Olympic coxswain Known to me as Woody & loved & respected by his charges so much that they bought him a DB9 as a present! Woody taught me to drive from the ball of your foot through the legs, once legs are straight you begin pulling with the arms, when the arms are almost bent you lean back just a mm (small amount) then you reverse this, sit-up, arms straight & legs are STILL STRAIGHT no you can bend legs back to start otherwise your power platform is not stable & energy dissipates into the ambient environment namely the AIR not the water or erg platform with leverage ergo you lose leverage anchor point & ergo power to propel to the finish line!
Peace & Love!!!
😂😂😂😂😂 It's the juice man! It's the fkn JUICE!😂😂😂😂
Dane never cheats a VLOG or a client...a true Coach!
I did CrossFit for almost 6 years and competed locally. As a former HS football and track athlete and an active duty Marine during this time frame. The physique I achieved during this timeframe was top notch, due to my foundation in fitness and the programming from my local box. The physiques these athletes achieve are based on the programming, nutrition, and recovery systems they have in place. Everyone that achieves a physique like this doesn’t have to be on gear. It’s really being active with the programming daily, with adequate recovery placed in it, and dialed in nutrition.
naw its gear, fam
I agree, it's hard work and healthy eating.
As a former Marine, you truly are the reason why we get called crayon 🖍 eaters.
@@justinilano8812 hater..
So many pussies in this comment thread that would get humbled by CrossFit. They would be an entirely different human after just 3 months. IYKYK
It doesn't matter how great your genetics, a physique like Mat Fraser at 5'6" 195lbs at 11-13% body fat doesn't occur without the use of gear. While such a level of achievement doesn't happen without tons of hard work(just speaking of physique alone), but nevertheless.
Exactly. People mistake using gear with being lazy. They work hard. No doubt about it. They just also use drugs
I love CrossFit. I don’t understand the hate. The best thing you can do is moving your body for health purposes. Just going to the gym alone you’re already a winner. There’s no good or bad workout as long as you know your limits and and be careful with it especially hard movements. It’s really a waste of time to hate on each sports. All you have to do is workout. Eat healthy. Have a clear mind. Then you’re good! Also, CrossFit community is everything. Having people supporting you and cheering you on is super positive! Do what you love!
Bad form promoting
I agree. There's a lot of hate in the comments. CrossFit is great and can achieve phenomenal results naturally.
Like every other pro level sports, they are enhanced.thats how they are jacked.

It's called hard work. Sorry bud
@@harca6nah they're juiced out
Still waiting to see an actual pull up rep 😂
Yeah, they really shouldn't be calling it x number of pull-ups when it's actually Crossfit kipping.
Those are for competetion, when you need to do a massive amount as fast as possible.
And just do them, complaining wont build any muscle.
@@daarco2 you ain’t building anything if you’re not actually doing the workout correctly.
@@kenxiong6830yet she got wider back than u , doing that kipping. Even if its kipping it’s moving the same muscle group , but that muscle group isn’t under tension as u would have when doing a normal pull-up, which doesn’t matter in CrossFit because they do volume , and volume as time going on will build muscle. Which is basically what everyone trying to do
Bro, did you even watch the video?@@kenxiong6830
Gear is a massive factor. Please don’t ignore that
The top crossfitter is jacked just like in any sport. I guarantee genetics has something to do with that. You’re not looking at medium crossfitters where there’s a lot of average looking athletes, just like most weekend warrior.
I remember watching the crossfit games one year, and noticing the abdomens on some of the top female competitors. They were defined, but bloated looking. Remined me of some pro bodybuilders.
yeah i guess they eat about 5000-7000 cal per day. my stomach would be bloated too
I did CrossFit for a year and a half. And while ill say it helped with my overall endurance, maybe one or two people out of the entrire gym of 50 members looked remotely jacked. I also feel like i got weaker in the three core lifts.
You were doing it wrong or your gym was programming wrong, either way it was not crossfit that made you weaker everyone I know who follows a program gets stronger, fitter and more "jacked"
@@banks7714 can you explain how you do it "wrong" ? I guess I got stronger with C+J and snatch but those are really more technique than strength.
@@banks7714 I was doing predominantly powerlifting prior to CF so it would make sense to become weaker since CF doesn't focus on weight work as much as the former. I can count on 1 hand how many times we would actually bench. And probably no more than 10 times that we did deadlifting.
@CalculatingSigma92 then the programming is poorly written, the volume is inadequate, progressions aren't correct, no accessory work etc. It's hard if you're going to a class but it can still be done. The program I'm on is a 2hr per day program, we do 2 lifts per day and 2 conditioning pieces per day or 1 conditioning piece and 1 accessory piece. We bench and deadlift weekly.
@@banks7714 that would explain it then
In what part of the video, is the part about the PEDs crossfitters use?
If your goal is to get "jacked", train like a bodybuilder. Not to say you can't build some muscle doing CrossFit, that's just not the main goal. It's just a much more direct process to avoid all the excess conditioning and skill work and just focus on hypertrophy exclusively.
Thank you verymuch.
👍🙏💪🌹♥️♥️♥️🌷🌠💫🌌😘
Yea fully tested 3rd party would be needed to know forsure. Doesn’t change the respect for work ethic / dedication. Respect all around. But natty for life.
Well we know cardio as well as conditioning can build work capacity and strength is an expression of force over distance over time so even though you don't get much strength while in a hypertrophy range, and sometimes they go outside of it, you still build the mononucleosi as well as plenty of fibrous-peak-flexing, since most of the movements they do are concentric dominated
Okay why they are jacked is cuz they lift weights…😐 also they are short. Rich Froning is 5’8, Noah Ohlson is 5’7, Matt Fraser is 5’6, Josh Bridges is 5’4
Those short athletes aren't jacked because they are short. There are plenty of tall, jacked CrossFit athletes. Those guys do have an advantage in most CrossFit disciplines because they are short. CrossFit might be one of the only sports that short people have an advantage..
Aa soon as the second lady started talking you have your answer lol.
Thought I was the only one to notice.
😂😂 bruh the moment I read your comment she talked! Why cant they be honest
we all know how they're so jacked..
Hate or love CrossFit, personally my physique changed since I started doing it.
You can hear the extra test in that voice 😂😂😂
Thanks for upload and being OPEN MINDED.
Crossfitters always look like literal action figures that I´ve been collecting as a kid.
I know we all love to clown on the butterfly pull-ups but are there any actual benefits to them or is it really just bad form
they hurt my shoulder, but there does seem to be a cardio effect on them, they pitch it as a compound movement
Coordination is critical, and it spikes your heart rate from one hand, but also, you can only dominate the movement if you know how to engage your core and hip, lats shoulder, and back well.
Let's say that it's a rhythmic movement that engages many muscle groups.
At the same time, there is a strength part in a Crossfit session and then the WOD part.
Generally, in the strength part, we use a lot of Strict pull-ups and weighted pull-ups for strength reasons, while in WODs, you use those kipping variations to increase volume and fulfill the high-intensity workouts.
Efficiency. Getting your chin over the bar,or chest to the bar, as easy as possible using your lower body to assist you.
Benefits: creates muscular endurance in your shoulders, arms, and grip. Keeps your intensity up in the workout.
While these butterfly and kipping pull-ups are done in high-intensity workouts. Strict pull-ups are done in accessory work. All of these ignorant people don’t realize that strict and weighted pull-ups are very often done in crossfit gyms. A good crossfit coach wouldn’t allow their members to even attempt butterfly pull-ups w/o the prerequisite of them doing at least 5 or more strict pull-ups first. Strict pull-ups first, then kipping, then butterfly. I’ve never had anyone injure their shoulders due to butterfly pull-ups.
Go watch Glassman's original Crossfit seminars. Kipping pull-ups were never meant to be done like they're done in calisthenics. Crossfit is about increasing your work capacity, which is force over distance over time. Crossfit is trying to produce an entirely different adaptation than isolation exercises.
seems all roads lead back to CrossFit and Arnold
Are crossfit athletes tested for steroids before competition?
Only the ones they know that aren't a good draw.
Nope. That's why they're so jacked only doing cardio 😂😂 Not to mention the growth-hormone midsection they all have
Shhhhh we don't talk about It 🫢🤫
@@vespeneprotoss4346😂😂😂😂
They are, but Crossfit runs the testing. It's not an unbiased 3rd party. #1 athlete pops? No one needs to know.
There's also interviews with crossfitters at the highest level talking about how little they get tested.
For the professionals:
many are on drugs.
Combined with: having the money to spend hundreds of dollars a week on high quality food.
They also Have no other job except to train CrossFit 3-4 hours a day.
Matt Fraser’s HWPO program is literally 3 workouts a dwy, 6 days a week. Why? Because there’s so many skills you have to be good at in ordered to be a champion in that sport.
Most humans can’t do that unless you’re eating 5000 calories a day, have a massage therapist etc.
Some professional athletes don’t have the physique of CrossFit athletes, which is crazy.
I've never seen a jacked regular crossfitter but I have seen jacked regular gym goers even calisthenics enjoyers. Crossfit in itself shouldn't make people look jacked, thats the PED doing the work but instead it should make you more fit and leaner if done correctly. Being jacked and crossfit doesn't mix unless you add the PEDs in the Elite levels and even then the physiques are night and day, usually the podium places vs the ones who finish last.
Bate. It’s the gear. ⚙️
Everyone squatting on the video has their knees collapsing inwards that’s a big no no leads to injury
answer: steroids
This is just a commercial to get people to buy an app
Pro Crossfitters are also bang on every available PED they can get their hands on to boost performance to give them the edge over competition! So lots of Anabolic Steroids, HGH, Ephedrine, Clenbuterol, every Peptide and SARM that applies etc etc etc. I`d say that Crossfit athletes could well challenge Pro Cyclists for the highest amount of PEDs used!
😂😂 why they so jacked ,, In fact, testosterone injections without training were at least as effective as resistance training (without injections). The same patterns were observed for muscle strength gains.,,, now imagine you train hard on top of that ,, i rest my case .
Becas=use top crossfitters don't get good at crossfit by doing crossfit workouts
There was a woman at the gym I went to who competed in Crossfit games and her training regime was very conventional (ie a consistent set of exercises, instead of WODs, and done in sets of 10ish instead of AMRAP). CrossFit style training seems to have lots of intensity but not enough consistency. And that might lead to it causing more injuries than conventional training.
Seriously we're talking about CF as a a way to maximize hypertrophy?

Watching crossfitters do "pull-ups" is the funniest thing in the world, lmao
Every time there’s someone explaining how people train there’s the majority who barely does any kind of physical exercise never strive towards his best version but are the first ones to talk about PEDs , well with or without you still have to put the effort in and still need the discipline and sacrifice to achieve your best regardless of what they are using, so until you been in their shoes you should mind your business, why so much envy and hate?

Lol i knew there'll be negativity in the comment section.
Both ladies are inspirations in my eyes - tho I'm not totally wild about those "pull ups"
so...they powerlift and condition at the same time? so they're...somehow bodybuilding...for strength? and fitness? at the same time? so they're insane. like, clinically. got it
like everyone else, train hypertrophy, may take enhancers, and those competing good genetics selection
CrossFit is great! Im sure some people in the gym are on gear, but elite athletes aren't due to testing at the games.
ROFL.🤪
However there is predominance - *e.g* if a training is predominantly metabolic it can't generate too much muscle damage and/or mechanical tension and the same for the others - like a radar chart where one of the three increases the others diminish, even Crossfit trying to increase all of them at the same time. So, one of the most important things in Crossfit is nutrition. Some of Crossfiters are jacked due to a constant deficit (peaks and valleys) and/or balanced caloric intake, which makes them jacked and not big (as much of the protein synthesis they have is for recovery instead of hypertrophy). Just thoughts :D
Which "juice" are all of these CrossFitters on? Orange juice? Cranberry juice? Or is this special lingo for something else?

Couldn't you say this about the "average fitness Joe" of any sport? Go to any commercial gym and you will see loads of incredibly unimpressive physiques of people who are trying their best to get as jacked as possible. Isn't it obvious that the elites in any sport will be more impressive?
IDK if this applies to all the world but at least in my 3 nearest gyms crossfitters are the clowns of the gym. They train every day except Sundays and i could see some kind of good fit evolution on 2 men, but they are also staying and doing heavy weights after crossfit.
