You absolutely nail everything in this review. You speak so clearly and confidently, no hesitations or inaccuracies when addressing anything. Probably one of the best vehicle reviews I have ever seen. My only critique is the microphone picking up some noise while you are inside the vehicle. But what a great review thank you!

I didn't even know you could get one of these WITHOUT the thor's hammer headlights. I coulda sworn those were standard, but I did see absolute base model XC90 with basic halogen headlights and it makes a surprising difference. Just looked so cheap!

I like how this vehicle design hasn't changed in 10yrs where's many others have changed. Nice vidoe as always Jake.

great video and explanations, really helpful to me but the constant wind noise on the sound drove me mad (no pun intended!) and difficult to focus on the great content. keep up the good work.

I just purchased a 2019 xc90 in the T6 momentum trim and overall I really like it. However, there are a few things that I really dislike about the car now that I own it. For one, the voice system on the car is terrible. It gets 90% of every navigation command I give it wrong. For instance if I say go to Elm Elementary School. It will ask me if I want to go to School road. You also can’t select a Sirius channel by number or name or control apps. My wife‘s Kia gets voice commands correct 100% of the time and it can control a lot more. The second problem is the entertainment system. Now that CarPlay is a feature, it can only been seen in an 8” section of the display. Everything else is worthless tabs with no information. If you actually do click on one of the tabs you lose CarPlay and you need to use a roundabout way to get it back. Nothing except the built in map can be expanded to take up the whole screen. This is also similar to the drivers instrument console. It has a beautiful digital display, but very little can be displayed on it. No car functions like current AWD status, tire pressure, or battery level are available. A Missed opportunity in my opinion. Lastly, some of my selected features don’t stick or are not memorized by the car. If I place the car in Eco mode. The next time I start it, it reverts back to comfort mode. If I use the built in pandora app it forgets my login information. All these things would be acceptable on a cheaper car, but this thing cost close to 60,000. Like I said, This is a good car. However, I’m starting to wonder if I should have picked a BMW or Audi instead.

dong Chen it’s a nice SUV, but I’m really surprised how badly some of these features perform. Good luck in your selection.

John Christensen I got X5, MDX, Q7 RX350L and XC90 on my list. I am not sure which one is better for me. What u think?

dong Chen they are all good vehicles. I’d encourage you to test drive each one and see which one you like best. My choice was between the BMW X5 and the Volvo. I went with the Volvo because the dealer offered me a better deal. However, there were many things I really liked about the BMW.

A $63k Volvo... trade in two years with 25k miles for EXACTLY half. Check kbb trade in for the 2016 XC90 with all the goodies, $31k (if your lucky)
