Thank you for not making a blanket statement for all Catholics. Just to be clear Santeria is NOT the same as Catholicism. And many “culture Catholics” fall into idolatrous practices because they don’t actually understand the faith, they just go thru the motions. I just want to say thank you, i grew up a christian and somwhere along the line i let my relationship with God become contaminated with things of this world. The testimony from you and a few of your guests have led me to do some major soul searching. I used to be very discerning of spirits and and spiritual energies in people and places around me, and for years now ive dealt with depression as well as a spiritual numbness. Your halloween episode and this one really opened my eyes to the cause of a lot of my problems and ive begun cleaning house, spiritually and physically. I'm so glad i came across your channel! I've been under attack since before i was even born, being exposed to meth (drug of sorcery) since the moment i was conceived until i was Born. The enemy must have really wanted me his kingdom but I've been in the presence of demons and Jesus throughout my life. The enemy has put in a lot of work on me. Especially during the 4 years i struggled using meth myself. So much darkness and wicked entities

Wow Julie was absolutely amazing! I came out of new age too in 2020 but got so confused by the spiritual gifts that I stopped going to my church and went to a liturgical church for a while but then realised that it was doing nothing for my faith so I stopped going all together. These passed few months I made it back to my original church with a deeper understanding of the spiritual gifts and how the evil one has a counterfeit for everything.
I was there for the original stream that broke and wow, I can say that this one has a lot more details and is a lot better, so praise God for working all things together for good for those who love Him!

The official position of the Catholic Church is to never worship any saints. Saints are simply humans who lived holy lives and set an example for us, like any person who helps disciple us. Sadly, in some cultures Santeria gets mixed in with Catholicism and that's when you see people worshiping saints, etc. The rosary prayers are not evil, so I advise people to research this for themselves. I personally prefer the Orthodox Christian version of the Hail Mary prayer (which is literally a Bible verse) but neither are evil as long as you're not worshiping Mary, which no church permits. However, of course there are people who do worship Mary and the saints but this shouldn't be equated with the Catholic or Orthodox churches.
Yes thank you for making that clarification! Like you said some things get mixed up or get turned into superstitions also and it’s sad to see people fall so far from the true meaning of the communion of saints which Jesus gave to us a way to connect with him. Of course when your intention changes from reverence and love to worship the enemy will be there to continue to further the perversion. In Protestant forms of Christianity there are also plenty of people who slowly change the intentions of the religion and fall away from the truth of Jesus.

The Bible uses the word "saint" many times, it means "holy", and we are all called to live holy lives. I wasn't baptized until my 20s, buy wish I knew about the saints when I was a kid. They are the best role models. I ask the saints to help me and pray for me to God. I ask people at church to pray for me. Saint Paul yearned to be with Christ in Heaven. Nothing in the Bible says you can't continue to pray to God for people when you're in Heaven.
I was a professional cantor in the Catholic Church, raised our 3 kids in other all the sacraments (I left 12/25/22..by myself) and there are more Marian statues, songs and special masses for Mary than Jesus. Actions speak louder than words. Plenty of pictures with the Popes kissing and kneeling before statues. The commandment about idols was removed from the Catholic Bible and another was split in 2 to take its place. Big money maker

Praise God for your testimony! I just saw it on Pastor Isaiah's channel and decided to subscribed. Praise God for Julie's testimony, too. I could see that you both were being spiritually attacked throughout the video.
My testimony is a little bit more different, but basically, Jesus saved me from death, deep dark occult practices, drugs, suicide, and homosexuality. He did a real miracle in my life. I struggled a couple of years because these demons didn't want to leave me alone until a bishop from my sisters church prayed for my deliverance! I've been serving the Lord for years now and been set apart for the past 3 years, and i haven't even wanted to go back to anything dark again. Jesus set me free..

Excellent point on "deliverance and discipleship"! Jesus' own teachings support this idea completely. So many like to say "the truth will make you free" (John 8:32) which verse we love. But it is preceded by John 8:31, which we often miss, but is contextually important. Jesus told Jews who had just believed on Him that their having believed is not enough, it is only the beginning of a process of deliverance (being made free). Following belief, trusting Him alone as Savior, we must now "remain" in His word (that is abide in His teachings) which will result in our coming to "know" those teachings as "truth" leading to a process, in time, of literally "being made free." The deliverance is an ongoing consequence of true discipleship, the hallmark of which is continuing in His word! Yes, yes, yes! Thank you, ladies, for this video. I am praying right now, as I write these words, that it leads to many people trapped in the occult (in whatever form) getting into the process of real deliverance through true and faithful discipleship in Jesus!

Thank you for sharing. I am not a Christian right now, but I have experienced a lot of similar demonic attacks, seeing lights on my walls and feeling and acting suicidal and people firing a gun near me and such. I have left tarot cards and witchcraft and stuff.

I'm new to this channel. I'm also reconsidering Christian faith from occult pagan practice. I have found reverance with Julie's interviews. I have been really moved but it is disheartening to hear her perspecrive on Catholics. I recently went to a healing service at a Catholic church. I was very moved...more than I have been at any Protestant church. They did healing prayer over those who needed it. Im still processing my experience but it seems it was of the Holy Spirit. Catholic are Christians and from my research the originators of the church. They themselves renounce idols and speak about saints as recognized persons filled with love of Jesus. It does make me a bit sad that as someone considering entering this body of Christ with baptism that the Christian community is blaspheming other Christians.

If the Holy Spirit dwells (Romans 8:9) in you then a demon cannot dwell in you (Matthew 12:43-45) The devil can tempt us and will make us believe that we do not belong to God and that we are hopeless. BUT this is why its very important to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18)

Go on Isaiah saldivars deliverance map! That’s how I was able to find a church that does deliverance and walks in the spiritual gifts. I relate so much with what you said tho, I came from a baptist church that doesn’t believe in anything spiritual of God. It really is false, and the Lord opened up my mind to this

@@leilaalvaa my church is pentecostal but pastor doesn't believe that even if a Christian lives in sin can have demons. It's wrong. Christians too need deliverance like Isaiah says.
And I did find someone here in Germany through his map few months ago but I didn't manifest. However when i joined this pentecostal church, and they were praying for Holy spirit baptism, I manifested. I knew I needed more deliverance but the pastor said I've already been baptism by the Holy spirit and now no need of deliverance. But I know I do.

I will say that when I am in my flesh for a day like I don’t pray or read the Word. I am usually easily irritated and grumpy and I don’t want to be around people. When I am submitted to God and I’m full of the Holy Spirit I am kinder and I love being around people and I am more courageous. So I would submit to God everyday, that you need Him and need the Holy Spirit to guide you and His spirit will embolden you. ♥️

I actually changed my religion from Hinduism, the only Christian in my family. I rebelled against my traditions basically.

Agree on everything except the Catholicism argument. Your grandmother did Santeria, which is NOT Catholicism; it's a demonic warping of Catholic principles. We do not worship the saints; we consider them role models; we learn from their lives; when we pray to them, we simply ask them to intercede for us. It's THE greatest Protestant misunderstanding, and I know this because I used to be Protestant before and after I was a New Ager and before I converted to the Catholic faith. The Catholic Church consists of three parts: the Church Militant (Catholics who are alive right now), the Church Suffering (Catholics in Purgatory), and the Church Triumphant (Catholics in Heaven). All of these are our brothers and sisters, and we help each other. The Church Militant prays for the Church Suffering, and the Church Triumphant prays for both. Santeria is black magic and has nothing to do with this. It's one of Satan's schemes to make it look like it's the same; nothing could be further from the truth.

Its not considered scripture, but aprocyphal OT text but what he describes regarding the spirit of death, is spoken about in the book of Tobit 6, which is in the Catholic Bible (its not "Scripture level" authoritative)... of course Christ delivers from all things... youll find it in a Catholic Bible (I used to be Catholic, im non denominational now)... they had to do an OT pre-Christ deliverance with instructions from an biblical Angel. Christ paid all of our debts on the cross... we go through like a sanctification process with the Holy Spirit... I dont watch TV anymore.

I live the Book of Tobit! I asked a Greek abbot what the Apocrapha meant and he didn't know and said "Those books have always been in our Bible". That is, the Septuagint. East and West were in Communion for 1000 years, and basically had the same Bible. I think the West uses the Masoretic translation but it's the same as the Septuagint. I could never figure out why in the 1500s the Bible got changed by the Protestants, the Psalms renumbered, and books taken out. I've tried researching it. It's a mystery to me.

Im loving this testimony ❤ Just a bit of a correction, iron sharpening iron, if you will…at around 40-41 minutes in you state that faith is a key component in Christs ministry of healing and deliverance…at the pool Of Bethesda when Jesus healed the paralytic, after the fact he stated that he didn’t know who Jesus was. Jesus just told him to get up and took him at his word, and when he was asked by the Jews (presumably Pharisees) why he was carrying his bed, for it was sabbath and unlawful to do so, he stated he was healed by someone didn’t know. This account is at the beginning of John 5. Many people knew who Jesus was at that time and taught after him, but many didn’t. That was an instance where Jesus literally could have said , “you’re welcome, I am the son of God”. In fact the text states that is what happened, for the man was told who Jesus was after the fact.

Although I appreciate what you are doing on your channel - bringing people out of new age and to Christ - it is disheartening to hear such inaccurate and uneducated comments about Catholicism. I’m going to give the benefit of the doubt that you’re truly coming from a place of concern for others but, trust me, no need to worry about true practicing Catholics. The Catholics Julie is referring to are practicing a perverse and disordered form of Catholicism which is not true Catholicism. This also happens - and is very common - in other denominations of Christianity. Does that make Christianity wrong? Don’t judge a religion by the flawed people in it, judge it by its teachings. For you and others who are genuinely curious about Catholicism please go watch someone like Michael at Reason and Theology, Matt Fradd with Pints with Aquinas, Voice of Reason, and Chris Stefanic with Augustine Institute and Real Life Catholic. For teachings from a truly great well educated priest and exorcist please look up Fr Chad Ripperger. Also, Fr Casey Cole at Breaking in the Habit, Fr Mike Schmitz, and Fr Ambrose are great resources on these topics as well. Michael Knowles - who you both went on his show - as you know is also a very well versed Catholic and it was a missed opportunity to bring up your concerns. He would have kindly talked to you about this as well…why did you hide your thoughts in the conversation with him? Please, I ask kindly to refrain from making comments about Catholics until you do real research and show your confidence of knowledge in the subject by having the conversation with a well informed Catholic like the Catholics I mentioned above - they would gladly and lovingly have the conversation. The Catholic Church is the most studied and oldest Christian religion. Countless extremely well educated people over 2,000 years have extensively studied anything you could possibly think of in regards to Catholicism. The church does not go off of people’s personal thoughts, opinions, and feelings..it’s deeply rooted in scripture, the apostles and most importantly Jesus Christ. The church really doesn’t take anything lightly especially within its own teachings. God bless you and everyone on this journey🙏🏼

Idolatry is a grave sin. The worship of saints is idolatry. Its not reverence, its idolatry and it must be called out as such.
Compare the 10 commandments in the old testament to the Catholic 10 commandments and you have your answer. You will be left with this question: Do I trust what the Word of God tell me or what man made traditions dictate. Being a Catholic is not wrong , its when you adhere to the practices and belief of Catholicism.
These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:

There will come a time when you will have to choose the scriptural truth over men's truth. Jesus did tell us this:

I’m not Catholic, and I approve this message. Educating myself on what Catholic doctrine ACTUALLY is versus what I had been told it was in the Protestant church has been one of the best things I’ve done. I second all of the recommendations of channels and people to listen to here as well.

Fr Chad Ripperger, a well respected exorcist goes into detail about the demon/saint connection and how powerful saints relic are against the antagonizing demon. yip heard both Angela's and Julie's Testimony on Michael Knowles show, I mention this because I Michael is a man of integrity, knowledge and no bs. Not a Catholic but Christian. Have no issue with either Jewish or Catholic people. But there are Catholic Sacrements I do not agree with and doctrines and so on (Purgatory, yeah sorry, perform as much exegesis as you want, heard it all, no such place). Any rate, I am a Christian, I do not belong to any denomination. Scripture interprets Scripture. Churches that follow the teachings of Christ and not ignore/nitpick/obfuscate/etc... Pauline Doctrine, that is what Paul, Peter and other Apostels and Disciples have said and lastly who do not simply cast Books like Leviticus and Numbers out of hand just for the sake of it, is my kind of 'setup'. I like testimonies for the sake of authenticity. The first instruction Jesus gave was on repentance Mrk 1:4. the Greek meaning is more then just 'to turn away [from sin]', and lastly Jesus spoke more about Gehenna/Hades/Tartarus (or Hell if you want to be casual but take care since unbelievers will say the Bible makes no mention of Hell). Bottomline, once you start with debates on salvation, spiritual warfare, mercy, gender, et al if not well versed in exegesis and hermeneutics (insofar as Scripture)... bottomline, become strong in Faith because invariably if you host a Christian podcast you will end up at some point being challenged. Prayer is not in and of itself worship, but a conversation. We can worship through prayer but can also petition. Praying to the saint according to Catholic teaching is mearly asking the saint who is alive in heaven to bring your prayer to God. Much like asking a friend or prayer group to offer prayers for you. What better prayer group to ask that one present before God? That said, some Catholics have superstitiuosly corrupted this practice, particularly in Latin communities. Practices such as burying St. Joseph upside down in your yard in order to sell your house is common unfortunately but is a cultural superstition that is a perversion of Catholic teaching. Praying to the Saints is well supported in both Scripture and Tradition. There is a lot of good catholic content on UA-cam you can find to explain this in depth. Bishop Barron, Fr. Mike Schmitz, The Catholic Answers gruop, who by the way are largely converts to Catholicism, are just a few resources readily available.
