“No…not yet.” There will be a lot of moments in your life where you just stumble back and fall, not wanting to continue. Just wanting to give up and stop everything because it’s so much easier than going through the pain of continuing. Even though this video has some shitpost kind of elements in it, the music coupled with the Deus Ex dialogue is just so perfect. It makes you feel like despite the pain and struggle you have to put up with, you’re going to be okay. You’re going to look at yourself in the mirror, look at yourself in the eyes, and tell yourself that it’s not over. Your journey isn’t over, and even though you’ll struggle with pain and regret, you’ll be able to pull through. You’ll be able to look up and say, “no…not yet.”
The timing is impeccible. Seriously struggling with life rn but to just slow down for a minute and appreciate something like this makes it okay again. Thanks Rahn. I really wish I didn't appreciate this as much as I do.

Wtf? I don't know what this was, but this was literally the most beautiful video I've ever come across on UA-cam. Thanks.| (I picture this as what was going through JC's mind during the Icarus ending.)
I've always maintained that if there ever was a Deus Ex movie adapted from the original game that the best way to do the ending would be to fuse the core elements of the 3 ending sequences together and then leave JC's choice ambiguous to the audience. E.g. you could write it so that all 4 factions (Tong, Everett, Helios and Page) are asking/begging JC to choose their vision, with their impassioned speeches coming in on his intercom, while the base is on a countdown to destruction and then you end it dramatically right as JC looks up to the heavens in contemplation of his final choice (like his pose in the original game coverart) and the movie ends right there and goes straight into credits with a bangin' Alexander Brandon inspired tune and the audience left to ponder what he might have chosen and what they would have chosen if they were in his shoes.
I only watch this video occasionally now, but it came into my life when I really needed it. I had just completed a playthrough of Deus Ex 2000 and found it through a reel of memes. This simple but well-constructed motivational piece touched my soul in an unexpected way; it felt like a psychedelic experience every time I watched it. Early 2022 was a very dark time in my life, and this beautiful work of art truly helped me through it.
