Thank you so much. I just have 2 questions: 1. If we already have our podcast these platforms via Buzzsprout etc., why would we also place them directly on iTunes, Spotify, etc.? Whats the benefit...? 2. Doesn't Buzzsprout & other podcast hosting split ad revenue with the Podcaster?
Hey Pete, thanks for the video. I'm having trouble with my podcast artwork consistency. I have it on both Apple and Spotify, and it never looks good on both. What size do you recommend to be good on both?
Sorry to hear that Patrick! Apple recommends 3,000x3,000 pixels. I recommend 2,997x2,997, as I’ve had trouble getting a flat 3k accepted for some reason. Also, export it as a PNG :)
Help me please I started podcasting on anchor and I’m based in the U.K. and I’ve heard some very bad reviews and now I’m looking to start fresh and move over to Apple, I was wondering how to move all the contents I had on anchor over or is it worth just starting fresh with new contents on Apple podcast?
Apple Podcast is NOT a podcast host, but rather a distribution platform that you connect to (via your host). All podcasts hosts produce an RSS feed--which you connect to Apple, Spotify, etc. Watch this video for more: ua-cam.com/video/tJJaG6IyX5k/v-deo.html
I'm a bit confused about your question, but I **think** that what Spotify account you use doesn't matter at all. Your podcast won't show any of that info to anybody else...it simply pulls everything from your RSS feed.
I've had this happen, and used to have clients that encountered that as well. I can'tt remember the fix off the top of my head--but I DO know it came from a few minutes of Googling. Sorry for that! But go search :)
@@DoYouEvenBlog Thanks-- I did a bunch of googling and, despite having an apple ID I got nervous because I don't have an iPhone/iPad/any apple device. I thought for sure apple would have monopolized this too. BUT I downloaded iTunes for windows to finalize/verify my account and that seemed to do the trick. Still not a fan of apple but what can you do. Thanks!
WHAT'S UP blog tribe (or podcast tribe)! Drop any questions below! Also, where do you listen to podcasts yourself??

Thanks a lot , appreciate the info and help
Brilliant, thanks Pete! I'll be using this when I launch my podcast :)
Oooooooo when is this launching?? Keep me posted and how I can help my man :)
Very helpful ❤
Great video Pete! Can you use your personal Apple ID to connect or is it better to create a business account. Can you even create a business Apple ID?
GREAT question! PERSONAL ID 100%.
This won't be shared anywhere anyways, so it'll be kept private. No need to create another!
As always, thanks for the nitty gritty, simple to follow instructions. Totally coming back to this when we launch our podcast!
Yyyyeeeesssss can’t wait for this to happen!
very helpful info! Definitely learned some new tips! Thanks!
Aw thank you Bri :)
Aye Thanks Pete
no problemo Sani ;)

Is it just me or does the podcast link not work on the itunes connect page
I love stitcher :) But apple is my backup.
Ooooo really? I feel like I haven’t seen Stitcher around in ages.
I'm a castbox kinda girl, but I have no idea why. Thanks for showing all the steps for this!

It’s saying it could take a day
Hey Pete, If I upload a podcast and, say, you link your existing Spotify account. Does it upload on the existing Spotify account?
I'm a bit confused about your question, but I **think** that what Spotify account you use doesn't matter at all.
