After you are accepted into the Apple Podcasts directory, you’re good to go. Apple Podcasts will check your RSS feed every 24 hours and update your listing accordingly.

It can be as short as 10 min or as long as 3 hours. There isn't a "best" length for an episode. But they are typically between 20 - 40 minutes and have been getting shorter the past few years.

After doing all the steps for Apple, once I get to the screen where I should be able to add a podcast on Apple podcasts (never had issue on a previous podcast I had 3 years ago), I get a screen that sais "Podcasts Connect requires an iTunes Store account." Any one have any clue to what I can do or why I'm getting this? My Apple ID is setup and all that good stuff. I used to go thru Podbean, where I had to plug in the RSS Feed myself in "iTunes Connect".
If it's a free Spotify account, that doesn't impact whether your podcast stays up on their platform or not. If you're talking about having a free Buzzsprout account, then yes. Episodes published on our free accounts only stay active for 90 days and are then deleted. If you know you want to commit to your podcast though, just upgrade to our cheapest monthly plan and your episodes will stay uploaded

Podcast apps like Apple Podcasts don't support streaming live episodes. We'd suggest using a platform like Twitch, FB Live, or UA-cam Live to transmit your live episode and then upload the recording to your podcast as a normal episode
I have no apple products I use android, I did these steps I have an apple ID and apple will not allow me to submit without an iTunes account which I can't get on Android. what can I do?

I think that Apple needs to add the technology that they are giving out for free from Medicare, that arm back that checks blood sugar through the skin.... that, and ugh, they need to apologize about that 911 call that I made, and how it took 3 times to actually get through....

Historically it takes 1-2 weeks, but Apple has hired more people to do the approval so it's down to a few days right now.

Unfortunately, i have this problem. Please, help us because i have a podcast but in Itunes, i can't see analyse my podcast now.
That means that Anchor submitted your podcast under their Apple ID. You'll need to reach out to Anchor's support team to transfer it to your email

If you host your podcast with Podbean, their support team is going to be your best bet at getting that fixed

Apple will accept R-rated podcasts, but make sure you mark the podcast as Explicit or it will get rejected.
