      I totally agree. I suffer from sciatica and this routine has really helped me continue to work and walk. My back went out about three weeks ago and I can now do the exercises again. I am committed to doing this routine more often as I think I had quit (like I do) and take feeling better for granted and then I overdo it with swimming or biking and not stretching...     This has been the best class I've taken yet for sciatic nerve pain! I'll definitely be adding this class in weekly for the foreseeable future

    this is the most helpful guided yoga sequence i've probably ever found on here. thank you SO SO much David. i get my life back because of this sequence, it is easy to follow i never have to look at the video, your presence is calming and i truly feel a beautiful release in my tense back

    This class helps me with my hamstrings and lower back, which have been kind of stiff since early childhood. David is a wonderful teacher--he keeps things challenging, yet relaxing at the same time. I do this class daily. If I ever skip, my legs and hips begin to ache!

    Nailed it! This particular session was so helpful because most of the stretches are done while laying on my back (sitting is difficult to impossible right now). That strap (I just grabbed a tie or scarf from the closet) allowed me to pull the stretch exactly where I need it. I did this yesterday morning and was able to go for hours with no pain meds. That is major progress! So, I did it again this morning. When you are in constant pain, relief and hope are so precious. I now have a bit of both.

    I've only been only doing this class for my sciatica pain for 8 days but I feel such a difference in my back and hips already. It's easy to follow and feels so good afterwards.

    My girlfriend recently introduced me to this channel and we've been doing yoga together with these vids as guides. This is the first one I've done alone because I've had frustrating sciatic pain, especially on the right side, for years and years. This was quite tough, but I stuck through and felt those deep stretches and WOW do I feel immediately better. I will definitely be following this video again and again. Thank you SO much. This is the first time ever that I've felt this much relief.

    I absolutely hate stretching & dont enjoy doing this routine buuuuuuuut it really does help me with my bulging disc pain & after a week or so of doing it I feel a lot more nimble as well so it defo works.

    I can recommend this video to anyone who has problems with sciatica and I am recommending it to my friends and online. I exercise is almost everyday for the past two weeks and it is getting better. It targets exactly the muscles that has to be stretched. I find it as best as it can be for a video lesson. Better than this can be a private class with physiotherapist, in my opinion. I wish everyone coming here for a pain relief will find it! Thank you, David, really great job you have done!

    Thank you, David. This class is so amazing! I have had the sciatica pain for a few days. My regular stretch doesn't seem to help much. While I was searching on youtube, your video popped out. When I finished the practice, the pain is relieved! I will practice it on a regular basis. It also helps me with my tired legs from standing for a long time at work. I can't thank you enough!!!!"

    if I'd done this work-out 40 years ago as a gymnast, I would not have sciatica now. Thank you for a challenging & rewarding routine that finally freed my right hip!!! David is a life-saver!

    Thanks David. I wasn't sure if I had sciatica but definitely something was not right. I had no idea how tight I was till I started doing this class. It's a workout for someone who hasn't done yoga in awhile but so worth it. Namaste.

    yo man i swear at first i was like darn this is so boring and we re just stretching the leg what is that got to do with my back (of course i am a dum ass), and at the end it was over, and i was like ok not that bad, and THEN... I GOT UP, I GOT UP FROM THE FLOOR WITH NO PAIN !!!     I have terrible sciatica from a pinched nerve, bulging discs.... and I am trying very hard to avoid back surgery. Every day I do a simpler routine and then this one. I need some advise as to what routine I should follow this one with.

    I have a question that you may be able to help me with, David. I can lay on the floor, but sometimes I have to keep my left knee bent just a little so my hip at the back isn't pressed to the floor. Sometimes that happens on the right side but most commonly the left. If I tried to do the first move you do on here, I would get an extremely sharp pain in my hip as soon as my leg lowered about 3/4 of the way down. I've been told it's trouble with the periformis muscle. It also does that while walking or just standing sometimes. Any advice on how I can work to improve that AND the lower back pain?

    I have chronically tight hamstrings that have gotten worse from years of combat sports. Lately, the dreaded sciatic pain has returned to my life. After just one session I felt instant relief. I am going to try to do this everyday. Thanks so much for the help.

    Excellent excellent video and instruction! Thank you so much. This video has been so helpful and soothing for both mind and physical pain of what I think is sciatica. It's different from other videos that I've tried for sciatica, with great poses and stretches. The instruction is spot-on that one doesn't even need to look at the video, and has a perfect flow to it. . not too fast.

    this is a routine to do as much as needed . The relief was immediate and after a warm Epsom salt bath it is wonderful. thank you David for the calm and clear instructions. You calm me down, thinking and body. You makes me aware of my surroundings.

    I’m really grateful for this class. I don’t have sciatica. Instead I have osteoarthritis of the knees. The stretches relieve the discomfort in my knees. The class is like having a nice massage

    This is a wonderful video. I feel better after doing this, both physically and mentally. David teaches with clear, detailed instructions, which is important to prevent injury. He doesn’t fill the time with unhelpful chatter, but keeps a compassionate tone. Like all of his videos, it is beautifully filmed and the angles allow the viewer to see how he is placing his body. A lot of thought has gone into creating this. Thanks for your videos, David!
