PART 2: ua-cam.com/video/J8p9d4SIaS4/v-deo.html 💚 If you're interested to see what my collection looks like one year later, I've also made an up to date 2024 houseplant tour: ua-cam.com/video/GLF04jkf2tA/v-deo.htmlsi=s3zPXC11L1tCLjq4
Oh my, not only have I gotten absolutely nothing done watching this video completely unplanned but now I’m going to have a HUGE plant shopping spree! Loved the video and your descriptions of your plants. Glad this popped up in my feed!
I love all of your videos!! ❤ I wish that there were more groups like what you talk about. None of my friends are into plants so 😢 I am always sooo jealous when people talk about getting cuttings from friends. I love it for you and everyone else that has friends that love plants. I love your apartment. The light is amazing!
I agree, facebook is the way to go! I joined 3-4 local plant groups on FB without knowing anyone in them and I've met a handful of people this way. :) Once you look it up you'll see a few suggested. Not all of them will be amazing, but some will and you'll meet some nice planty friends!!
Hi Claire, I haven't even started watching your video yet. But after a busy Sunday afternoon of repot, building mosspoles and plant care, it's just what I need. I am now looking forward to relaxing 2.5 hours with beautiful plants. Greetings from Germany.😊
In regard to fern issues, I keep all my ferns in self-watering pots and that has kept them so happy and healthy. As long as the bottom watering tray is always watered, they will nourish themselves. I hope this helps. I love all your videos, look forward to the next one.
@maddog74 you can Google "self-watering pot" or how to do it yourself to make one. I've seen one in passing but never done it. It's a wicking device to pull water into the medium, whether soil, lecca etc.
Your new flat shows off your plants so well Claire. Thankyou for part 1 of the tour and taking the time to include all the plant names . I know that must be a lot of work in the editing process!
Put shelves on both walls. Love your videos. I’m from Canada. Spending winter - three months in Puerto Vallarta. Have a neighbour looking after my plants at home. Fingers crossed. So watching you in the evenings is filling my void of my plants. But the tropicals here in pv are incredible.
there's so many but it some how doesn't feel cluttered! I am so jealous of your collectin and love to see how they have grown with your time and care. I can't wait for the part 2 xx
You are a plant GODDESS! I’m mostly into succulents but this came up and started playing while I was asleep, I woke up and watching it all! Amazing plants!!
Love this! Your flat is goals 😍 could you do a video on propagation? How to do it properly, how to know if it should be propagated in water or moss, things like that?
I found your channel searching for rubber tree tips & how to take care of it. My ruby is about 3ft tall. I’m excited for this video! My dad & mom have always owned plants, I never had they used to die as I never paid much care for them, but now I have grown a passion for plants they have helped me feel more at peace & I love & enjoy taking care of them they help my mental health, it’s crazy now how long I went without them!
I rooted a monstera dubia cutting in a plastic herb container in perlite. It is a very shallow container. Like the one you get at the grocery store that keeps your herbs fresh to cook with. The container is in my milsbo cabinet right under the light. The perlite never dries out and lots of heat in the container. Also the cutting lays flat that way. Rooted unbelievably fast!
you might want to size up the ivy's pot, i have one that size that out grew it's 6 inch pot in only 10 months and started dying back like yours! it completely recovered after repotting it to an 8 inch.
Oh girl, it's so easy to sell ourselves short and tell ourselves we are not pretty or good enough or whatever. You are beautiful, inside and out. You are an amazing plant mom / care taker. Your home is stunning. Thank you fir sharing your collection.
I started watching your video - loving it so far. I still have hour and half to watch, and I can’t wait for later today when I have free time to watch! Thank you Claire, I really like your videos!
I think I paid $40 for a 3 leaf cutting of Hoya polyneura a few years ago! It's crazy how much the prices have come down. Its so nice to be able to afford some of my wishlist plants now.
Love your video!! Umm your FicusTineke is just leaning to the grow light, perhaps she needs to take a turn in that corner on the wall with the light or turn the lean to the wall so it straightens up to. I'm very envious, I'm useless at indoor plants - but my outside green fingers are very good why that is I don't know!
Oh HELLO plant tour! So lovely to "catch up" with you and Joli after Christmas (I haven't been on YT much over Christmas). So pleased that you are enjoying the new flat!
Hi Claire! I love this so much! I wanted to share something I learned with Alocasia... they will "look down" if they are getting too much light. My regular Frydek did that for a while until I learned that and as soon as I moved it away from the grow light a little it was back to standing up straight.
Speaking from personal experience, the piper sylvaticum was definitely in need of a drink! It doesn't show how desperate it is for a drink until it's critical, and then the leaves start drooping almost in an instant. It'll bounce back fairly quickly after watering (leaves will harden again) but new growth will suffer if it gets so thirsty that the leaves start drooping. It took me a while to learn how often my piper wanted to be watered, I would often water only once it started to be critical, and as a result all the new growth was misshapen and stunted (and would even drop off). Now that I water my piper often enough that it doesn't get pushed to the edge, my new growth is bigger and perfectly healthy. I have not been able to successfully propagate mine though, sadly! I love this plant and I hope you'll have lots of success with yours too! ❤️
I got into plants for my vivariums, I drove by a house and noticed a weird leaf coming from a trash can it was a huge monstera.. after that, my obsession has grown, and I had horrid luck with tropicals... but thanks to this channel, I have a jungle growing.
Two and a half hours video to watch while I’m repotting! Niiice! My standleyana arrived from Grow Tropicals and it’s amazing! HUGE! In the sale for £10.99! Soooo pleased with it. It’s beautiful!
With the Frydek, I saw a really interesting video from Sheffield Made Plants that Alocasia are just sooo hungry, so you need to feed them more to maintain more leaves
I don’t know how I missed this video!! 10 months later I am enjoying it. 🤣 I don’t even know if you’ll even see this comment but do you fertilize plants in semi hydro with no drainage? Can you do a video about your process and if you use different fertilizers for different plants depending on the substrate.
I love how your plants are displayed in your new home they look awesome. Pilsner beer was my dad's favorite beer when he still drank many many years ago. I wish you could come and help me with the placement. I would like to get more plants.
Wow i absolutely loved watching this video, so relaxing to see all the different types of plants ,am definitely going to get myself a Bird Of Paradise. And the meranta lemon lime. All these plants are so beautiful 😊
Oi Josefina, suas plantinhas tem o poder de encantar a todos. Estão maravilhosas, parabéns. Feliz páscoa para vc , sua família e Apolo. Um abraço! Um abraço
Hi Claire…lovely Appartement and beautiful plants 🪴 Probably already someone commented/told you…but I think Monstera Adansonii variegated (by the window) is actually Indonesian Marble…that’s why a bit different look/shape as the normal one ☺️ Can’t wait for part two 🪴
Hi Claire, with regard to your Maranta lemon lime, I just watched a video by Paul the Plant Parent where he showed his marantas growing in water. They have masses of roots and the leaves look so healthy. If you have a chance, it’s worth a look at the video. Now I must get back to your video. Thanks for the tour in advance.
Also I think your Frydek is too close to the light. I’m babysitting one right now and I uppotted it and it seems that the taller pot is too close to the light because multiple leaves are drooping. I’ve since taken it out of the cabinet and am waiting to see if it perks up 💚🤍
Thanks so much Claire I don't seem to have an issue with the ones that sit, it's the hanging ones as the thread crosses on the bottom where the holes are and I always sit on a grate and drain If there weren't so many holes in the bottom of a grow pot likely would not do it as much I may start to use pots with less holes on the bottom and are a bit lifted from the bottom like my clear ones. I just wanted to use up all my hundreds of other ones lol. Can't wait for part 2 of your houseplant tour.
My albo syngonium has been such a disappointment I even bought more than one the first one had no variegation & I did get a refund from a reputable online planty place, I ordered on Etsy & it went white & green! Bought one more & that’s it for me! I’ll enjoy other’s pictures of them

I really enjoyed this video! Getting ready to watch part 2.😉I’m a new subscriber and I just love your videos. I also have been slowly getting into Hoyas since watching your videos. I just got a baby Sarawak today, and am hoping mine gets as big as yours one day.🤞🏽
❤Hello from Northeast Texas! I watch your videos all the time and I watched one the other day and you talked about one that know one else has ever mentioned! I have one and I only paid 5.00 for it! It is the Alocasia Portodora! Mine ha a few babies in the pot and once it got acclimated to the spot it has started getting bigger leaves. Would you please do a dedicated video on that plant please? It would be greatly appreciated! ❤💚💙
Of what I’ve seen and read, the Verde Paraiso will lose its variegation in the cold months and gain it back in the warm months. Mine did this and I can’t remember who it was, but another UA-camr was explaining this.
❤oh, Oh, what a lovely treat😊, hitting close 75y, covd hit me with a 3yr dose shut n, keep pushn back, prayers today help me move on as i have in past, when thoughts or physically under. Hey Claire First of all, i loooove all your videos. How do you manage cold air in the winter, do you move your plants for the cold period? After last winter some of my plants have pests and I guess it's from the cold air when I ventilate my apartment.
"I'm not going to fo through my propagating plants." Video: Proceeded to show all the propagating plants for 4+ hours😂 What a wonderful introduction to your platform 😂❤ Gorgeous family ya got there 😂❤
Thank you for making this video! You have sooo many beautiful plants and i know you must spend a lot of time keeping up with them. I very much enjoy your channel and come here first for help and tips for my plants. I live in the US near Chicago with cold winters (occasional snow) and warm humid summers. I try to keep the house near 55% humidity and my plant room for delicate plants (calatheas and alocasias) near 70% in the winter using humidifiers. Your plants always look so green and healthy. i'm thinking you must also struggle to keep the humidity up during the winter. BTW your Orbifolia looks beautiful!
Wow wow wow You live in my actual dream home set up lol plants LITERALLY EVERYWHERE 😂, awww i just LOVE them all so much and i envy your collection ❤ I have grown a variety of house plants over my yrs but recently have been obsessed with collecting them and building my collection, my issue.....i have only 2, yup only 2 windows in my living room 🤦🏻♀️, its a growers nightmare i swear lol....but im really trying to utilize my available space to its max lol.....but wow do i love your collection and knowledge so ty for sharing ❤

The fact that it's just part 1 as well lol
Doing that now. Perfect Sunday morning viewing 👌 🙌 😌

WOW, this houseplant tour is absolutely amazing. All of these plants are such a spectacular sight.
Love this! Your flat is goals 😍 could you do a video on propagation? How to do it properly, how to know if it should be propagated in water or moss, things like that?
Propagating the variegated monstera would be ideal!

I’ve watched this same exact video maybe 6 times? You talking about plants is so soothing 😂 if you had a podcast on Plants? I’d be tuning in!
I wanna take a big breath of all the fresh air these plants create
Your videos are mesmorizing and your voice while looking at your gorgeous green plants put me in a Trans thank you

Omg I clocked in the link 44 seconds after you uploaded!!! So excited!!! 😊
I think this is my third or fourth time watching! It is fun to watch your plant journey and see how my own has gone along, as well!
Two and a half hours video to watch while I’m repotting! Niiice! My standleyana arrived from Grow Tropicals and it’s amazing! HUGE! In the sale for £10.99! Soooo pleased with it. It’s beautiful!
I am in love with her accent. Everyone should talk this way.
Mais de duas horas de vídeo....não é pra qualquer um ❤ Lindas plantas ❤❤❤
Wonderful to watch, fascinating and entertaining, especially as I’m beginner, thank you. Congrats on your lovely new home too 😁
Highly appreciate! I share the same sentiments. Love the greenery out there. yes, sure it is, so very peaceful.
Wow, that was a lot of planty goodness, lol, Loved it all! Bravo!👏👏👏

I love how your plants are displayed in your new home they look awesome. Pilsner beer was my dad's favorite beer when he still drank many many years ago. I wish you could come and help me with the placement. I would like to get more plants.
Drinking game idea: take a sip every time Claire says "beautiful"😁
can we go doubles when she says “ favorite” ? 😂
I'm game. 😂 🍻
Such a fast way to get tipsy especially if you top off the glass when she says “lovely”
Oh we gettin SLOSHED tonight

Hi Claire…lovely Appartement and beautiful plants 🪴

Can’t wait for part two 🪴
Oh wow, I love long videos! I feel like I have a friend and we have nice time :) taking my tea and let's get started :)
Claire, I think you should put your esqueleto in your bedroom! They prefer lower light and it would look amazing 😍😍 I love your plant tour 💜💚🤍
Also I think your Frydek is too close to the light. I’m babysitting one right now and I uppotted it and it seems that the taller pot is too close to the light because multiple leaves are drooping. I’ve since taken it out of the cabinet and am waiting to see if it perks up 💚🤍
I know her house is a literal😍 breathe of fresh air 🌬️🍃💙
Wow amazing blog sharing very beautiful plant sister all plant nice 🎉
Thanks so much Claire I don't seem to have an issue with the ones that sit, it's the hanging ones as the thread crosses on the bottom where the holes are and I always sit on a grate and drain If there weren't so many holes in the bottom of a grow pot likely would not do it as much I may start to use pots with less holes on the bottom and are a bit lifted from the bottom like my clear ones. I just wanted to use up all my hundreds of other ones lol. Can't wait for part 2 of your houseplant tour.
Hello from Puerto Rico!!! I actually stayed to watch this whole video. Now the 2 nd part for later. Beautiful plants!!!! 🙋🏼♀️💚🪴

Your plants are absolutely stunning.
Oh my, wow! Very Impressive collection. Happy I found your channel. You are amazing!
Best. Video. Ever :) have been watching for what feels like hours and I love it ♡
Beautiful collection, why against terracotta? Frydek is also my favorite as well. Spider mite and thirp collector though. 💚🌿
Don't give up on your Maranta, she might be going dormant amd will pop back in the spring
I totally get what your saying about the spider plant breaking up the other plants monotony. Adds crazy to bland plants!!!
2 and half hours?! Blimey, even for you this is quite the epic video... and it's only part 1?!
Ivy is probably root bound. Take a look at the roots...
I'm new and love that this is an extra long video!
I really enjoyed this video! Getting ready to watch part 2.😉I’m a new subscriber and I just love your videos. I also have been slowly getting into Hoyas since watching your videos. I just got a baby Sarawak today, and am hoping mine gets as big as yours one day.🤞🏽

Just been to Morrisons and saved loads of plants. Nice ones if anyone is after pothos monstera anthurium and philodendrons from a quid.
Wow what an amazing tour. I am in love 💕. Absolutely beautiful house plants. Do you ever sell your cuttings?
I’ve found that propogating plants in moss with root hormone works so much better than just water
