you redesign it based on what you have in your spares box 🙂 No quick-fix money & how much did the parts cost ? But impressive how you got your head round it & first stabs at new hardware types are bound to come at a cost . Brilliant, thanks !

    Hi Sorin,
you can replace ISL 9237HRZ with ISL 88738H , if the ISL 9237HRZ is bad. They are compatible!
I did that last week on a Precision 3520. You might have some low coil noise after replacing, but it will work!

@@Natureshoot312 i think its just tons of experience and basic knowledge of circuits. ask around if someone u know has some broken old laptops (or any electronics) and try fixing them. even if you dont fix them you have learnt alot in the process so you wont lose anything

    Very nice!
    You've got a new subcriber.
I remember the older monitors have cheap capacitors, they were easier to spot when leaked and replace. But the newer 4k models, they are a paint to diagnose and spot where the problem is.
    This is very thorough.

I've fixed a Microsoft Surface computer only once before, and its a complete pain... built on the cheap. Nothing screamed "quality" with the one I fixed. It would have been one of the cheaper models though - but still...

32:49 replacing the ic chip on top of the battery why not just disconnect the motherboard and change the chip outside as a tech i will never do that also it's amazing how fast you can diagnose and repair these devices.

Same video from the 10 min channel I was watching a while ago. As always, great repair. Like someone commenting from your other channel, you are lucky the laptop is already open. It's quite time consuming to open first gen surface laptops.

Aynı sorunu adaporu degistirerek çözdüm.15 volt vardı .konnektörün iç kabloları tam temas etmedinde 15 volt veriyor.yeni adaptörde mosfetlerde 19 volt ölçülüyor ve normal star veriyor.

You have removed a resistor from the board and used it to replace another resistor that is burned. How do you know that the resistor you removed is not required for some other function? That part seems rather random to me. Regards

$80 repair is still significantly less than ~$200 plus saves the time and potential trouble to reinstall apps and transfer data if the customer is satisfied with the utility it provides.

I still don't get why your prices are so much lower than Louis Rossmann. You're worth a lot more than 80 quid, mate. Also, please explain how replacing resistors (as we like) has no limits? Obviously there are limits - how to tell? Thank you!

Loius has fixed my macbook twice. Repaired and replaced a bad battery. The battery went bad again after a while. He replaced it free of charge and repaired speaker thqt was distorting at no extra charge and paid shipping to return.. Very satisfied customer, as far as I'm concerned he is worth it considering what Apple would have charged me for a new laptop or logic board.

It's always unpleasant to first receive something for free and then find out that the _same thing_ has become paid for. I have been a subscriber for many years and for all this time you have been my favourite evening pastime. A few days ago I started watching a video that I paused. Today I go back to continue watching it and I discover that if I want to continue watching it I have to subscribe for a fee. I'm sorry to see that the thirst for money leads to this.

    • @carlomazza260
      @carlomazza260 Рік тому

I would add that it is not the only video that Sorin has changed from free to paid. I have a playlist of some videos that I had already seen and saved, because I wanted to see them again (repeating is important for learning). Now on those videos it' appeared the message that I can no longer access if I don't pay. We are talking about videos that are not necessarily recent. From a correct person like Sorin I would have expected him to have applied this payment policy *only to new videos, made specifically for paying subscribers,* and not to recycle old free videos to make them monetized again.
