you redesign it based on what you have in your spares box 🙂 No quick-fix money & how much did the parts cost ? But impressive how you got your head round it & first stabs at new hardware types are bound to come at a cost . Brilliant, thanks !
Hi Sorin, you can replace ISL 9237HRZ with ISL 88738H , if the ISL 9237HRZ is bad. They are compatible! I did that last week on a Precision 3520. You might have some low coil noise after replacing, but it will work!
@@Natureshoot312 i think its just tons of experience and basic knowledge of circuits. ask around if someone u know has some broken old laptops (or any electronics) and try fixing them. even if you dont fix them you have learnt alot in the process so you wont lose anything
Very nice! You've got a new subcriber. I remember the older monitors have cheap capacitors, they were easier to spot when leaked and replace. But the newer 4k models, they are a paint to diagnose and spot where the problem is. This is very thorough.
you make it look easy, great job. im currently trying to fix my gigabyte p37 laptop while watching your videos. i cant follow the voltage paths. but found lots of short cap as far as i can tell and few mosfets stll trying to figure it out
Guys we need to send our voice to help our favourite youtuber they need to fix him this problem of invalid traffic Its our turn guys to give him back we learn allot for free we are a community soldiers of Sorin We all go send to youtube support or what ever to help him out for this problem
I've fixed a Microsoft Surface computer only once before, and its a complete pain... built on the cheap. Nothing screamed "quality" with the one I fixed. It would have been one of the cheaper models though - but still...
32:49 replacing the ic chip on top of the battery why not just disconnect the motherboard and change the chip outside as a tech i will never do that also it's amazing how fast you can diagnose and repair these devices.
Same video from the 10 min channel I was watching a while ago. As always, great repair. Like someone commenting from your other channel, you are lucky the laptop is already open. It's quite time consuming to open first gen surface laptops.
Aynı sorunu adaporu degistirerek çözdüm.15 volt vardı .konnektörün iç kabloları tam temas etmedinde 15 volt veriyor.yeni adaptörde mosfetlerde 19 volt ölçülüyor ve normal star veriyor.
HI Sorin , I have been told the latest version of the microsoft pro have a screw back and they sell parts on their site , but i can't conform it, also why does the twin diodes burn out regards Jim
Very didactic video!!! The only thing was not possible to get the extra 50 pounds for a daily repair, but anyway nice challenge. Keep up the nice job Sorin !!!!
I'm currently trying to fix a dead Surface 3 1867 and it's a complete nightmare. Wish I'd never started. Motherboard is completely different to what I've fixed before 😡
My Dell G3 laptop stopped working, I tried checking found one chip header blown up, can I ship it for you to fix if you can get chip header for replacement
You have removed a resistor from the board and used it to replace another resistor that is burned. How do you know that the resistor you removed is not required for some other function? That part seems rather random to me. Regards
$80 repair is still significantly less than ~$200 plus saves the time and potential trouble to reinstall apps and transfer data if the customer is satisfied with the utility it provides.
Hallo I have broplem with my laptop Dell Latitude 3390 2-in-1 2018 works perfectly but when I turn it off it suddenly turns on again it turn off only from power switch button I reset to factory reset dose not works I change the Rams and the ssd than I load new windows 11 Not works still same problem please what to do in this Thank you
I still don't get why your prices are so much lower than Louis Rossmann. You're worth a lot more than 80 quid, mate. Also, please explain how replacing resistors (as we like) has no limits? Obviously there are limits - how to tell? Thank you!
Loius has fixed my macbook twice. Repaired and replaced a bad battery. The battery went bad again after a while. He replaced it free of charge and repaired speaker thqt was distorting at no extra charge and paid shipping to return.. Very satisfied customer, as far as I'm concerned he is worth it considering what Apple would have charged me for a new laptop or logic board.
It's the Microsoft Surface Laptop 2. I have one of those, it's from the stone age, but still working great. The person that owns this one is not very appreciative of technology. The Laptop looks like crap. Thx for the Video though!
It's always unpleasant to first receive something for free and then find out that the _same thing_ has become paid for. I have been a subscriber for many years and for all this time you have been my favourite evening pastime. A few days ago I started watching a video that I paused. Today I go back to continue watching it and I discover that if I want to continue watching it I have to subscribe for a fee. I'm sorry to see that the thirst for money leads to this.
I would add that it is not the only video that Sorin has changed from free to paid. I have a playlist of some videos that I had already seen and saved, because I wanted to see them again (repeating is important for learning). Now on those videos it' appeared the message that I can no longer access if I don't pay. We are talking about videos that are not necessarily recent. From a correct person like Sorin I would have expected him to have applied this payment policy *only to new videos, made specifically for paying subscribers,* and not to recycle old free videos to make them monetized again.
Sorin has fixed thousands laptops and still says: “It’s working, I can’t believe” :)
We have picture
That's crazy
Fantastic
Proper dodgy, perfect
I like the way he saying that.

Please
May you tell me what books should I read to know all these things and become a hardware technician????
Thanks

wow, just wow.. so amazing the way you diagnose
An entertaining and enlightening repair video. Love it. You always learn anew whenever Sorin gives a masterclass. Bravo!
I have a g731gw and watching your videos gives me confidence in a possible repair if ever needed.. I just added a total of 32gb of ram from 16..
Great Job As ALWAYS :D
Just one note : Don't do hot air on the board when a battery is under it :D
Good job Sorin, thanks for teaching

Been a subscriber 3 years or more. The best money I spend every month
You can harvest the double diodes in future from any macbook logic boards they have same double diodes with similar voltage ratings
The sound is working well

Wow, amazing. Good work!
Sorin , great work.
Want to see new videos with Diana .
Greetings from your home country.

Hello! Good job. So how much does it cost to repair a problem like this?
Good job mate 👍
Hi Sori, did you release a followup video detailing finding the 3v power rail? I can't seem to find it in the list.
Not yet, just waiting to have a laptop with this issue

Hi AmScope SM-4TP , this is what i'm using, if you need a Trinocular
I'm currently trying to fix a dead Surface 3 1867 and it's a complete nightmare. Wish I'd never started. Motherboard is completely different to what I've fixed before 😡
Sorinele, ai renuntat la gazul de bricheta, ai trecut la camera termica? :D

❤❤❤❤ شكرن لك علا الفيديوهات

LOL I working on my Surface Pro 4 from yesterday :D
My Dell G3 laptop stopped working, I tried checking found one chip header blown up, can I ship it for you to fix if you can get chip header for replacement
beautifull job

It wasn't from the same laptop but from a donor board.
Nice one

I have sound sorin
There is sound
Well done. Here we have nothing and nothing, good. Apple don't put ground on the board. I'm sure I hear new witticisms each time, good.
Trying to finish watch a video i was watching last night and the channel hit me "this is a members only video" :(
It's the Microsoft Surface Laptop 2. I have one of those, it's from the stone age, but still working great. The person that owns this one is not very appreciative of technology. The Laptop looks like crap. Thx for the Video though!

Still no sound sorin

One of the worst board design ever. You have to remove the board to disconnect the battery. How stupidly was engineered?

Maybe the problem is the pad
We have another story here, a Microsoft capacitors 😅
Bravo but next time order more diodes ,not 3pcs only 😂
The owner need the datas inside...:) not really a working laptop:)
