Fact is all of these models combined ( triumph 400s, harley hero and ktm 390) dont even reach 5000 units per month, might be pulsar 400 will give some good profitable numbers to Bajaj, the dominance of 350s in this segment is due to the fact that the 4 reigning 350s are slower, heavier (safer)and more metallic build and in normal indian city/highway these can perform almost 80-90% of the bike's performance which were discussed today so still the 400 cc segment is very low -10k units in India and once guerilla comes in it will definately capture more of this pie, (Himalayn has its own fan following so it almost does 5000 units globally) but scram 411 fares porrly and may be discontinued sooner
Kindly don’t assume the viewers know your height. Will be great if you can mention your height verbally every time you guys make a point about it at least once every video. Otherwise a great content and lot of useful info guys. Thank you.
Single best bike which one should have in their garrage or aspire to have one is Honda NX500. Good for touring, can do mild off-roading, can ride it agressively as you can feel its torque right from its idle rpm to red line, very very reliable so can keep for so many years, easy to maintain as after sales service maintenance cost is not so high in case of Honda. Price is bit high because its a CBU unit.
Totally makes sense. Honda NX500 is a very good bike. It feels so light (although having a kerb weight of 196kg) unlike himalayan 450. Very good weight distribution by Honda.
@@AustinFernandes-m8j true. It feels so light & agile that it can be used as a daily commuter in cities as well. Also its 47.5ps power & 43Nm torque will give you enough thrill & excitement to ride it in highways. The bike overall is so premium, even the new 5inch tft instrument cluster looks so nice. Wish Honda could have locally manufactured this beauty in India to keep the price in check.
Very informative and interesting deliberation. With the gradual premiumization of the Indian 2 wheel market the 400cc segment is the most happening lot. Nice to hear that Scramblers will be the SUV / Crossover for Two wheelers with more offerings coming on the way.
Why are all forgetting HUSKVERNA 401's. It too comes from BAJAJ's stables. As you guys said it l, very correctly LOT OF CHOICES TO BE SPOILED FOR..... 1. BAJAJ PULSAR 400 2. BAJAJ DOMINAR 400 3. KTM DUKE 390 4. KTM ADV 390 5. HUSKVERNA SVARTPILEN 401 6. HUSKVERNA VITPILEN 401 7. TRIUMPH SPEED 400 8. TRIUMPH X 400 9. HERO MAVERICK 440 10. HARLEY X 440 11. R.E HIMALAYAN 450 YET TO ARRIVE 12. R.E GUERELLA 450
I believe we don't have roads for Cafe racers, track racing is altogether a different thing, riding a cafe racer on our pot hole filled super bumpy Indian roads can lead to back problem which might restrict your motorcycling altogether, that's why scramblers seem to make more sense as those hatchbacks with high ground clearance
It should have been 350-400 cc segment
Jawa yezdi?

Would prefer Triumph speed 400 due to its cohesive design , nimble handling and timeless looks ,lower seat height , weight and Triumph badge
But extremely small in size if you see
@@TheLifeRoadessay That's precisely why I like this unintimidating Triumph
seat height is high

Also Aprilia. It is far quicker than the duke

@@jeetubhoir but in India we are special, we ride all type of vehicles - every where.
Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 🛐
unless you have a personal preference for the design . the husqys are just downgraded dukes and dukes are overall better value for money
