    There are plenty of teachers in this world, but to be an exceptional teacher such as yourself is a gift.
    That may sound like an exaggeration, but when I come across people who have the skill to teach as well as you do, I am always grateful

      Thank you so much for the encouragement. I honestly don’t deserve the praise, but am appreciative of your kind words. Thank you for being a good student that is earnestly trying to apply yourself to each lesson. Keep up the great work!

    This was the very first video from this channel that I had trouble following along. It felt like things I had never seen before (like offset panes and arcs) we sped through like they were a review element that we should already know. It's possible I missed themearlier but I've been following these in order and that was after the "Dan the Man" class series. :)
    In the end I was able to complete the video, but my face scetch never did get fully constrained but I finally gave up trying and moved on (perhaps there is an offset plane thing I got wrong). I'll go back later. I think for the next few instead of following along I'll watch them in their entirety and then start over with Fusion ready to go. Still the best channel out there.

      Thanks so much for letting me know. So sorry that you had trouble following this one. Your feedback is very much appreciated.
      Thanks for thinking so highly of our channel. As a little insider information, we have an incredible 10 part series coming up both on this channel and Udemy that I think you would love. Also, your feedback will help me make sure to take each class one step at a time and make sure that all bases are covered before moving on.
      Thanks again. Please keep giving us feedback - both things you like and positive criticism are always welcome.

    Last 2 lessons were little bit harder for me but at the end, after few tries I was able to finish whole head from scrach to the end by my self, without the movie. With you as a teacher I really believe that I can learn Fusion! THANKS!

      Yes, I saw you there too. I wrote my question on fb but then I had to wait 2-3h to be published by admin and in mean time I finally found solution by my self watching your tutorial once again. Anyway, my learing strategy is first- watch the tutorial, understad every move you made and then at the end - make the same part without watching the movie, only by looking at your drawing. I don`t want to repeat whole process while pausing your tutorial because I feel that way I dont get the idea but only copy your moves... @talready

    Fun Lesson! I drew it up twice, once with the video, going with the Alt+Tab shortcut to switch between F360 and the video, pausing and rewinding as needed. After that I drew it up referencing a screenshot of the the drawing. Still had to rewind through a couple of trickier spots for me. Another great video, thanks for all the time you've put into these!

    Nice series
    Minor point: Since debossing converges at the center point and the face features are drawn on an offset plane, the dimensions will actually be a little smaller at the surface

      Excellent point, thank you for clarifying. There are a few differences between the two and we thought we wouldn’t go too in depth with them, but I am grateful for ones like you that pay particular attention to the tutorial and find ways of improving it. Thank you!

    When attaching the top and bottom part of the smile arcs, I noticed that your end lines are fully constrained (black) whereas mine are blue (and I can shift the points around). Was there something special you did? All I did was use the Line tool to connect the dots.

    • @learnitalready
      @learnitalready  2 місяці тому +1

      Thanks for reaching out! There could be a number of things that may have happened. One thing that I try and teach often is that when something is not constrained, try and click and drag that element and see what isn’t constrained. For example, if you see that the center point of the arc is moving, then try and constrain it. You might try and constrain it to a center line, or use the vertical/horizontal constraint. Let me know what you see isn’t constrained and the possible reasons as to why.

    • @Amarand
      @Amarand 2 місяці тому

      @@learnitalready Oh, for sure. I eventually got it constrained. The weird thing is, I was following along with the course and yours black-line constrained, but mine didn't, and I couldn't see where my step-by-step differed. Must have been an automatic constraint that yours put on that mine didn't?

    How would you make a hole through the edges rather then towards the center? I made a split collar but cant figure out how to make a hole to join the split with a nut and bolt.

      @ ok, hope so, looking forward to getting that far. I watched a bunch of your videos which are great but decided to start over and follow along on my laptop rather then just watch. So Im working my way to it. Someone on Facebook Fusion 360 Beginners "helped me" make it aka did it for me, so I have no idea how to do it on my own. I couldn't find an example of what I was trying to do on UA-cam, hopefully your video will shine some light on me.

    • @johnmcdonald3231
      @johnmcdonald3231 8 днів тому

      @ ok I just watched and although that would work its not exactly what I was trying to make. I wanted to have a single split collar with the bolt going through the rim without adding the boss. In other words have the nut and bolt all contained inside a cut out in the ring. This is hard to explain for me without a picture. Similar to McMasters 9677T8 collar if that helps.

    When I did the eye distance from center of .065, the vertical construction line moved closes to the eye instead of the eye moving to the construction line. Why?

    • @learnitalready
      @learnitalready  12 днів тому

      Thanks for reaching out! It’s hard to know exactly what’s happening, but I think it’s a matter of your construction line not being constrained. Click and drag your construction line to approximately the correct position, then use the vertical/horizontal constraint to constrain one of the endpoints (don’t select the line itself, select an endpoint) and then select the origin to constrain it vertically to the origin. Let me know if that works. If it doesn’t, then please send your file to me so that I can see what’s up. Thanks!

    Also when I finished the mouth by adding the two vertical lines to close it up the lines remained blue

    • @learnitalready
      @learnitalready  12 днів тому

    When I did the Deboss, the eyes did not stay circular when the entered the body. They were extremely slanted
