Cameroonians are closer to Nigerians, cause both countries, use to be one. Which is why is high time these boundaries, should cease to exist. So we as Africans, can move freely, within the Continent period.
Some Nigerians are a little bit harsh on this program, not realising that anglophone Cameroon (Southwest and Northwest regions) was part of Nigeria until 1954. Native names of Calabars are also indigenous to Southwest Cameroonians. Matter-of-fact, Nigeria's first national political party led by the father of Nigerian nationalism Albert Olayinka Macauley was called NCNC (National council of Nigeria and Cameroons). Same people.
Southern Cameroon. A referendum was conducted whether to remain in Nigeria or join Francophone Cameroon in 1960. You fathers were decieved by francophone Cameroon with fake and impossible promises. My only gripe - based on the few times I've clicked on the show - is an apparent focus on 'vs' (Cameroon-Nigeria). I understand that some of the topics made headlines, but perhaps there are different angles. Maybe a discussion on 'Controversial African (or West African) Social Media Influencers' that happened to include the Tunde guy, might have been better (for me). My opinion.

I know it's the hustle but why do you compare Nigeria with your country. We are trying to unify the Continent don't you think you're destroying that effort. We Nigerians are just trying to enjoy life but everybody takes it as a trend which is good sha.
A very very philosophical conversation. At the theory level, think audience - message fit. At the practical level, think raw numbers. Unfortunately (& fortunately) in Cameroon we are at the early stages of influencer marketing and social media audience insights. In more advanced (well, older) ecosystems, audiences have evolved into niches with respective mouthpieces having very unique POVs. So these ecosystems have the luxury of using these mouthpieces to speak to laser-focused niches. In Cameroon, we don’t have that luxury yet. We don’t have niches yet, we barely have any influencers. So brands go for mass communication; hence individuals with “large” followings. Reason why very few influencer campaigns can boast of any real engagement & conversion But we’ve got to start somewhere. It’ll be unfair to compare us to Nigeria or any other market because Cameroon is a VERY VERY VERY special market. We’re uniquely multicultural and bilingual, plus we barely just got 4G internet; textbook nedi work for yer. All tin na 4 terrain. We’re literally writing the rules as we go. Love the show ❤️

Controversial Opinion - A shocking number of Nigerians I have encountered (and this is my personal experience) either don't know that Cameroonians speak Pidgen or English, eat pretty much similar foods and in one particular case, didn't know that Cameroon shares a border w/ Nigeria!
When they hear a Cameroonian speak pidgin they say we use Nigerian slang. That's so annoying.
@RO Dizzle Obviously we use some Nigerian words due to consuming their media(Nollywood and music) but some say we use their slang when we just speak pidgin, as if pidgin is only spoken in Nigeria.

Right except that it wasn't part of Nigeria, Nigeria only existed after their exit

Yes, population is an element in comparing naija and Cameroon, but it should not be in d front line of excuses for not getting numbers in Cameron. Jamaica is a small island country but mighty in numbers when it comes to entertainment and sport.

How ignorant ya'll Nigeria has borders with Cameroon and they were one kingdom divided by the wicked colonialist.
My observation - I believe the show has great promise and I've read positive comments from previous episodes. My opinion.

Is Betatinz really into News or gossip?
Reason why very few influencer campaigns can boast of any real engagement & conversion
But we’ve got to start somewhere.
