Beautiful model! Really nice build, I think it would be a good candidate for micro RC adaptation, there seems to be a lot of good space to mount a small ultra-micro receiver and servo brick in the fuselage and then micro linear servos to operate the ailerons. With a set of rare earth magnets, the cowling could serve as a access point to store a battery and to maintain the motor. With an RC conversion, you could avoid obstacles while flying this model, and since it already performs well, it has the potential, and could be a superb radio controlled airplane. Park zone makes some good control systems and micro linear servos. You should easily get, at least, 5 minute flights with a small 3.7 volt lithium polymer battery. Excellent model! I would be interested in copies of the plans so I could build one of these myself, thank you! Happy flying! Thank you for posting these videos! Please have an excellent and awesome day! ☀️✨✈️
The plans for this model are available on Outerzone at: outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=364 Keep in mind that this plan is about 90 years old, and takes some liberties with scale. There's a much more true-to-scale plan for the #92 racer in the FAC newsletter #257, available here: flyingacesclub.com/wp/about-the-fac/fac-news-back-issues/. You'd probably want to scale that one up for RC (it's 16" span). Good luck with your RC version should you build it.
Thank you,@@michaelkelly7338! The resources you provided me will be very useful for me and anyone else interested in building this airplane. Thank you very much! Happy flying! Please have an excellent and awesome day! ✨☀️🛩
All the sheet parts were from the original kit except the aft fuselage formers. Wood was in surprisingly good condition for being over 80 years old. You can see the printing on some of the parts in the pictures where the tissue has been removed.
Beautiful model! Well done, thanks for sharing.
beautiful!

Sorry that happned. Such a beautiful plane. One of my favorites. Great job building and trimming
So happy you were able to repair this beautiful plane! Was any of that original balsa?

Beautiful model. Someone teased the model ("turn you idiot 0:39") so she commited suicide over such ingratitude... 😄NEVER tease your baby.
Hah! That was my opponent talking to his Cessna CR-3. It went tooling off southwest and missed the lift. He's beat me before with that CR-3...
