I hear an SR-22 overhead at 2:40! Nice flights. It is nice to see a plane with tip tanks being able to be trimmed out well. Had read about others having trouble with tip tanks and getting them to fly right.
Very interesting. My best and most stable, predictable glider will occasionally fall into that little phugoid oscillation if I give it too much power at launch and/or launch too steeply. I imagine a scale jet would be even more sensitive to minor variations in launch technique and lacks the pitch stability to dampen it out. Maybe a slightly bigger stab. I love it when it comes ripping overhead or just past your nose. Awesome stuff!
What a well finished/painted Jetcat. To my eyes the climb and transition was good and consistent but the glide was a tad stally and the glide turn a little too open. My advice would be to first adjust the turn with a small amount of clay on the inboard wing, and then if necessary improve the glide by removing some clay at the back - a pinhead at a time. Don't adjust the decalage or longitudinal dihedral as this will affect your climb/transition and small movements of the Cg will not, but will cause it to have a higher AOA and thus slower glide.
Thanks John - we're thinking along the same lines regarding further trimming. After reviewing the flight videos yesterday my thought was tip weight on the left wing to tighten up the circle, then cg adjustment if the stall persists in the tighter turn.
What an unusual and sweet flying bird, and video, too!!!

Bellissimo ! 👍
I am in awe!🤓
Oh my. I have a feeling you may not have that too long. A bit more to work out, but you can tell that is going to be killa". Nice work Mike.
It's definitely making me smile.
Very nice. The model looks even better in person.
Nice transitions and a pretty little model. Glide angle seems good for such a small model once it is settled down
Please show more detail of how you arranged the stab adjustment screw
Jim I'll send you a PM on FB with a diagram.

Beautiful...do you have any plans for this model ?
No, I just cut parts out over an enlarged 3-view drawing.

@@michaelkelly7338 That should do it! you have a great field there Mike as well. happy flying and thanks for all your vids.
