  • Scotland did everything but win in a classic dans Paris last weekend, Gregor Townsend's team getting on top yet falling short in an utter thriller. So, how did Scotland wrestle that momentum, what cost them, and what did France do to take them to the victory?

    No mention of the red card that brought Scotland back into the game?
    The main reason this fame was close was the fact a sub prop had to play most of the game.
    Why overlook the obvious reasons for the games result.

    Really hope the Ireland management see Scotland as the big threat that a lot of us fans see them as. England are still rebuilding and learning new systems and look like a team who Ireland -- given where they are in their preparation and form -- should beat at home. Scotland look like a big threat and one with a huge motivation to perform against us; beat Ireland and Scotland get the triple crown for the first time in years.

      Apparently he's gonna do a complete italy analysis after the six nations.
      But yeah tough week for him. Wales and england are the 2 most interesting because they change a lot. This game here was the best game of the weekend, where scotland actually played better than france. But also italy gave ireland a hell of a fight, in a game they actually were in range to win... Tough choice. But i guess he skipped italy because he's gonna show em a lot of love later on

      If you guys start to win games I’m sure he will analyse them. Until then it doesn’t make much sense if you can only review 2/3 of the games each week.
      He is Welsh so is naturally going to favour analysing their matches as well (as you could argue that Italy v Ireland was more review worthy than Wales v England).

    Ireland vs Scotland should be a live wire, despite how dangerous Scotland have become, they do make a lot of errors and I can't help but feel they have been overperforming. I felt Scotland were better against France, but there were too many lapses and France took their opportunities. I think Ireland will be even more clinical, more disciplined and kick better than France, it will take a lot more from Scotland to beat Ireland. Still I am really looking forward to this game as both teams are believing in themselves and playing fearless rugby!

    • @djbu88
      @djbu88 Рік тому

      I get what you are saying but I don't think I'd say they have overperformed. If anything, if they cut out a few more of the silly mistakes they made against France then they could have won that game and it would also give them a fighting chance at home against Ireland. I'd still be surprised if Ireland lost though as they just look unstoppable when at their best.
