It is kinda crazy though that the mind can make you experience things differently just by the placebo effect. I wish my skeptical ass would enjoy things by just being suggested that they do things I know is not possible lol. BUT the price tag is crazy for these coasters. SHEESH!

This is what the inventor will say: You placed your control right next to the coaster, so it was also getting light reflected off the coaster. That's why they tasted the same. Of course that is nonsense. I am just anticipating the inventor's response.

The coaster is actually so strong that it is altering the molecules of both glasses and everything else in the room. The 2 drinks need to be kept in different rooms or preferably different houses so the coasters true powers can be realized. If the coaster is too strong you may need keep the drinks in different states.

I think it’s downright hilarious that they pack in an insert that advertises the coasters and then the coasters themselves are ads for the coasters.
The ultimate test would be to see if Bailey prefers her water on a Boce coaster. 😂

This is as legit as Snake Oil.
As a snake owner I actually find their oil helpful with my eczema. I have a bad patch on my neck and shoulder, pops up all the time. I accidentally discovered the snakes being on it seemed to soothe it!
I felt bad they weren't getting to walk and figured my skin probably couldn't get much worse than it was.
Now I do it on purpose. The flare ups go down within a day or two of "treatment" as opposed to torturing me for weeks.
I mean, don't ever *buy* snake oil, for sure. But if you happen to have a snake and a skin condition...

I went and looked and only 45 *ratings* are Verified Purchases, and of those, only 29 are written reviews. These days, I only give Verified Purchases any attention, and even then, I’m always a bit suspicious.
This is the DUMBEST product I never expected to see on Freakin Reviews. And I love it
My blue coaster is the best purchase ever. It definitely changes the flavor. It coasts great in the air. Coast it a few times then it needs to go in the drink.
Flavor add of dirt, grass, sometimes some doo but adds that earthy natural flavor to anything. I bought 10 more.

There's no way the 5-star reviews (around 40 of them) on Amazon are legit.
Could be paid reviews or could be users who were more suggestable. Suggestion/placebo can be pretty powerful

It mentions "color emanates a wavelength and frequency" Maybe you have to use it outside in direct sunlight, for it to have any effect at all.
If so, I would assume that a White coaster would be better than a Black coaster because it wouldn't be as hot.
Therefore if you had a black table outside in the sun and put your drink on the black table vs the blue coaster, the blue is going to keep your drink slightly cooler.
However, it makes no mention of being used outdoors, and they show it being used indoors.
I believe all the people leaving 5 star positive reviews are bot accounts lying just to drive sales.
Clearly the coaster is so powerful it's enhancing the drink next to it as well. You need to put one drink in a far away dark room!

You could do the triangle test - 2 on, 2 off, then blindly try 3, or give 3 to others, and ask them to pick which the different one is. When you find that it's impossible, you'll have as clear results as you can possibly get.
Even if there was a provable change, if you can't tell, then it's not worth spending $ on.

I think I'll stick with my Dollar Tree coasters that were bought when it was still a dollar.
Make sure you buy the blue ones because there's supposedly a lot of science that proves blue coasters make your drinks smooth and velvety!

The Bocé YT channel has this woman talking about how great the coaster is. She is holding the coaster and a cupcake and at a very loud party. Pretty sure it’s the first time she has ever seen one. What’s funny is that one of the has tags is “drink alcohol” and that made me think “oh so you have to be drunk for this to work.” 😂😂😂
Oldest trick in the bar, we kept getting complaints our wines didn't taste right so we got our trade green printed on paper coasters, patrons were told to allow the drink to sit between 3 and 5 minutes for it to work! It was simply the same reason why you swirl the wine in a glass, to let it breathe, allowing it to off gas and the air to interact bringing out the flavours and mellowing and smoothing. Beers are mostly the same Guinness has to sit to allow the gas to dissipate a bit! I guess unlike at home where people put it down and do something for a few minutes they take a swig right after it poured!

By the way , I’m a resin artist and can make you custom art coasters , one of a kind for just a bit more than these. 😂 They won’t make your drinks taste any better but they will be one of a kind lol❤
That product takes advantage of people. Uses fancy sciency sounding words that apply to actual things to make it seem like it actually works. For some drinks, settling affects taste because the blended flavors separate. And then you have temperature, colr or hot drinks raste different at room temperature vs super cold or super hot. I also feel like it would be used by those people who think they are conniseurs of certain things but are really clueless and have an average or below palette.
Placebo effect is stronger than a lot of drugs. You could place toilet paper (like for the bunghole) under your drink and if you believe enough, it will "make" the drink taste better.
You should have mixed the black coffee, Captains Morgans, pineapple juice, wine, and Las Vegas tap water all together and if it made that concoction taste good then we know it works !

About the coaster, the only way to have it influence the taste of a drink is for it to come into direct contact with the drink itself. Glass doesn't absorb anything.
Regarding the tap water, I mean, the mob was dumping corpses in Lake Mead for years, so......
It's like one of those balance bands they would sell at the mall, but for your drinks lol
I'm sure somewhere on the instructions in ultra extra fine print (or someone in the marketing department), it says "You have to believe hard enough. If you don't notice a difference, you're not believing hard enough."
The trick is really simple, and it's being used all the time. 1) You need to have zero scruples. 2) You need an appealing idea. 3) You need a manufacturer. 4) Advertise and sell. 5) You get rich, yes you have zero scruples, but who cares? You live in a poor country under poor conditions - and this makes you rich, your family is safe. Not saying it's right, but thats the world we live in.

Color can indeed have an effect on your mood and smell on taste, but not color on taste unless you paint your tongue!
When both stay for a certain time, there’s no difference. When it’s on the coaster, and after a few minutes, there might be a difference between coaster drink and fresh, but that would happen without coaster too.
High alcohol spirits loose some sharpness over time, but that is independent from the coasters.

I saved $30 on using the box my flavour enhancers for water came in. Broke open the bottom and folded it down, works a treat. And if you want to get extra-cheap with it, you can cut the box in half. _But the _*_best part_* is that what came in the box _really_ changes the flavour of my water.

I've drunk tap water for 43 years.
From big cities (Toronto, and Singapore), to small towns (Clinton, Ontario and Bridgetown, Nova Scotia) and thousands of places in between.
I'm skeptical that Vegas water is that bad. Send a glass bottle of it up to me, Mr. White, so I can test it. 🤣

What I might add, while I think this is as you said one of the top crazy items that I've ever seen. Not to mention $30 for two coasters that what is so special $30 for blue coasters. Anyway I digress... The only thing I could suggest to make it completely fair was to have had some water to cleanse your palate in between tasting each one. Not that I think it would make a difference😊

I whole heartedly believe that the change they mean is either that your carbonated beverages will be sitting longer so its less carbonated or all the stuff in your water would settle to the bottom and the poor dude that made it thought the coaster would do it and not the table OR he just never thought that thats whay was happening and thencoaster was the exception

$30 for 2 coasters that don’t do anything? I could tell that he really wanted it to work (and I did too 😉) but after 4 tries with different drinks and different glasses nothing happened.
