We've found that large "washable" rugs do not wash properly in a standard home machine. We started powerwashing them outside instead, and it works great.

Do you know if a large rug (9 X 12) would fit in a normal sized home washing machine? Also, I’m curious about whether the stain protection wears off with washing. Do the instructions say anything about needing to apply a stain protectant, like scotch guard, after washing?
The 9x12 should fit in a normal washing machine and you wash on cold. They recommend air drying afterward. They don’t say anything about scotch guard as it should be all taken care of for you already 😘
I was thinking🍷from the start, ha, my tell tell sign. I would take that to the laundromat if I had, for thier king-size washers. I checked, but doesn't include Drying method 🤷♀️
Not a realistic test considering the spills were absorbed within 30 seconds, lol. Most of us take that long running to the kitchen to get the paper towels.
Have you put it through the washing machine yet? I would love to hear more on that and how that goes. They look like a great option and less expensive than the other company.

It doesn’t come with one but you could certainly add one for a softer feel.

I haven’t put it through the washing machine yet but it does say you should air dry.
