Oasisse on survival mode, episode 3. The base gets 8 dupes, atmo suits, oil, and plastic. Episode 4 will probably be a push for steam power, steel, and the first push into space.
Pro tip: Once the dupe is in the tasteful memorial. You can deconstruct and get the mats back. It also saves space. (I'm no pro but found this out from the accidental genocide.)
Is your gameplay as choppy as in the video when you're not recording? What are you capturing your video with? I've seen SimpleScreenRecorder in earlier videos. I had problem with choppy recordings on linux, after some tweaking OBS tends to produce video as smooth as if I was not using any recorder at all. WM compositor tends to slow things down, too.
I found a really simple screen recorder called Kazam. I haven't tried looking for anything better yet. I've been pretty occupied with getting good software for editing. I had some weird framerate problems when I was recording this one, it might not be a problem with Kazam.
@@tonyadvanced6315 I use Shotcut for simple editing and OBS for recording, but my use case is simply doing visual tutorials for friends, and not letsplays, so YMMV. Also, I like changing my desktop to XFCE or even simpler WM when I'm gaming, so as to have very little running in background and be able to turn off compositing - maybe an extreme optimization, but it's there. Also, there is GameMode, a daemon that gives games higher priority, so they tend to drop less frames. Hope at least some of this info will be of use!
You are right about those noises. I got those noises under control, finally, starting in my vacuum video. Getting the production quality right has been much harder than I expected.
Two years late to the party, but concerning the excess hydrogen: I always OR-together the battery and the tank logic. Hydrogen generator runs if either battery charge is below X or if the tank goes above, say 95%. Low threshhold something like 80 or so as you will produce more than you need anyways.
@@--2K992 Yeah. It seems to have something to do with the new video editor I'm using. But it's WAAAY better than the crap software I was using before, where I'd edit for hours and not be sure if I'd lose all my work.
I know this is probably a stupid, simple question, but can you do a quick two minute tutorial sometime that explains how to create that powerless oxygen filter loop? How/why does it work?
Was looking forward to this, thanks! I spend ages in-game making everything look pretty, I’ve never been to space even after 400 hours playtime
So true! He didn't even bother plumbing his bathroom. No nonsense!
Ya can't get scalded if youre in an atmo suit....at all times 😂👍. Dope strategy. Never thought of that.
There's a limit, but it's something like 740 degrees C. It's hard to get scalded unless you wade into magma or something.

Travaldo...your in!Go take bubbles cot😂😂😂u r just heartless😂

@@e100pavel Thanks! You clearly have a lot more experience with this than I do.
I'm using OBS now and it fixed a lot of problems. Thank you for the recommendation.
@@tonyadvanced6315 Thank you for awesome tutorials!
Hey man. I dono if it on my side or the video but there is some wierd audio sounds every now and then.
Enjoyed the episode thanks!

Nice video! Thanks!
Anyone else feeling like it's always Dupe named Bubbles who drowns?)
BUBBBBLLES! Noooooo!
Oh shoot, I didn't realize an atmo suit stored enough oxygen for a dupe to function all day

AYYYYYYYY LETS GOOOOO NEW EPISODDEEEE
I tried to post it like 10 hours earlier but UA-cam got stuck "processing" it. :)
Tony AdvancedONI hey man, at least the video is up
P.s. the audio has little sudden jitters here and there

Tony AdvancedONI I’d say it’s fair to crack Sony vegas
@@--2K992 I'm waaaay too cheap to pay money, at least not yet. I'm trying LightWorks for now, maybe I can figure out that audio problem.

That's a filter that you'll see around in other tutorials as well. I'll put it on my list.
