I have a buddy that drives a truck and has delivered to y'all and said y'all were great people. Doesn't even fish lol
I dream of a day when they make boats that a working man can afford instead of boats that cost as much as small houses
That day will never come. Bass boats will always be priced out of range for the average person. The solution is to be an above average earner.
Or just buy a smaller boat, say an 18' or 19'. Spend HALF as much as a fully loaded 20-21' and still have the capability to fish for fun or competitively.
Or buy an older boat and put in some work yourself......
Get an 18ft with a 150. Usualy runs less than 40k new. If thats not good enough for you then get rich overnight.
I'm one of those classified as a working man and its amazing to watch how these prices just keep climbing. I'm waiting to see when they creep over the century mark.
You really can't beat a boat manufacturer that has the family feel and doing what is best for the consumer! When I purchased my Basscat I was very surprised to get a hand written letter from Rick. Welcoming us to the family. Little things like that is what keeps people coming back.
Bass cat is privately owned. That makes a world of difference.

Everything you said about FALCON was spot-on!!! I will even up the ante a little. My wife and I went up for a tour of the factory after we had ordered our F195. Met with an owner and then met Opie (the head of manufacturing) who gave us the tour. 2 years later, we went to the Bassmaster Classic Expo in Birmingham to see the new Predator in person. BOTH gentleman remembered us and took time to just visit with us. Opie asked me to climb into the Predator and take a look around to compare the differences. Truly amazing folks!!!

Brian Latimer runs Falcon and he has a part 1 and 2 on his UA-cam page about his Falcon boat build from the Falcon factory. From the mold to the finish! It is impressive how they are built from start to finish!

I did not know this story at all.. Was wanting to buy a Falcon before this video, now there are no.1 on my list. If it rides well in rough water and doesn't porpoise at low speeds? Myself and a buddy of mine are both ordering boats from Falcon. Thank you so much for doing this!
You won’t regret it
After riding in one, you will never want any other brand. I absolutely love my f20 tournament edition. I can run 2-3' waves at 65mph like its nothing, best boat I've ever been in

@@lancemabry6707 it does stay on pad at very low speeds, roughly 10mph will stay on pad. Ive never experienced any porpoise. Like I said, rides like a dream. You can definitely feel the quality when you're in a falcon

I think you definitely get a lot of boat for the money here. I still can't afford this price but at least it is a good, quality boat for the money! I really enjoy your videos. Very educational and informative. Thanks.

I can't afford any high dollar boat, but if I were in the market, I would have to look at Falcon first. I also think that Rick Pierce at BassCat would be the same way. Quality in means quality out. I agree. Bass cat is a privately run Company and they are one of the Companies I'd choose to buy from if I was in the market.
My question is besides electronics and bolt on accessories. What makes the structural integrity better or worse than the competition?
I have looked at almost every brand available new and falcon is hands down the winner.
Falcon makes an outstanding boat. Quality. hulls, I mean very quality. Great speed and rough water ride. Great price point. Nice video!

I own a Falcon. Big underrated thing is that they foam in the stringers and cover it with a subfloor. Unless you have a bad external puncture or careless with your power drill, water is not getting near any foam on the boat. That's awesome. Supposedly they also use a drainage system to the bilge as opposed to just dumping all the water into the hull like most other brands.
Finally, any time I had to talk to Falcon (which was only a few times), I was ALWAYS able to talk to their head builder Opie. Very nice, very professional, always willing to help. Issue ended up being bad fuel anyways, but he was very helpful in instructing me how to remove the deck to get to the gas tanks. You can't beat that!
I live in michigan, we have no falcon dealers here. I drove to Tennessee to buy my falcon f20 tournament edition. I can honestly say that I will never buy a boat other than falcon. It rides like a dream through rough water, has a giant front deck, there is nothing about this boat that I do not like. Great video

with rods strapped on your deck is it easier, harder or the same to open the rod locker as compared to a typical side hinged?
@@jamssosv so much easier, you don't have to move anything to open them. Even with the rods strapped down, you do not have to move anything

Just wanted to let you know I think your video made an impact I watched it the day u posted it. I am a falcon owner and requested this video previously and you made it happen. Wife just recieved email from falcon which stated they add the ability to price and build online. Great video
We certainly hope that it did! Great companies like Falcon need to be recognized for what they do. We feel that is important and we are glad to see so many positive comments on it.

They don't give pricing online but they will let you build it and them a dealer calls you.
Mine just emailed and said, "How can I help you?"
I replied, "I'd like the price of the build I put together on the website."
The dealer told me that Falcon won't allow him to email prices but he could call me and if I told him what I wanted, he could tell me the price.

I do an online build and the dealer doesn't see it. I have to walk them through it all over again. Same dealer
Do you actually look at boats before these reviews? Just because the owner calls you back does not prove its a good boat. I saw a falcon up close and the quality was poor at best. Poor glass and gelcoat , frayed carpet edges and stitching already coming out of seats in a boat that is 1 year old.

That price seems right for the F205. I priced one, pimped out, last year was right at $75k from Bucks Island.

@@TeamMarineService I haven't bought it yet but the size of the deck is a big plus for me. I fish mostly in team tourneys and with friends and family. That deck is my favorite feature.

The Vexus VX20 you did a over/under on a few weeks ago came out $500 cheaper. Falcon which I think is a nice boat but I will take the Vexus because I think it's the best 20ft bass boat on the market and I'll save 500 bucks while I'm at it.
We can't fault ya for that buddy! If it's what you like then it's the perfect rig in our opinion. 👍🏻

My 2020 nitro z19 the touch panel shorter out on tournament day and I couldn’t fill my livewells. I had to use the trash can to fill them. I hates that touch panel every since

South Carolina is a boat building mecca. Everyone thinks Florida , Tennessee, or Arkansas. But there have been many a boat come out of that state.
You would be better off to go buy a 203 champion and put a new motor on it, new cover, new seats, new jack plate, re gel coat it, renew the trailer, re carpet, new trolling motor, new graphs and in the end you will have a new boat for half the price of buying a new boat.

Wow i have wanted a falcon since i first seen them just b4 my first boat 4ish years ago never kn that much went into them but still wanted a 205 got my alpha but was looking for a falcon never found a used one for less than 50k knowing what i do now i wish i would of pulled the trigger at 50k used. Ready to sell now and find a falcon. Thanks andy team marine is hands down the best boat information i have found. Its like back when i used to build pro street cars. Ppl would give me a combo and i could maximize it for them. I would spend hrs of research for free then do the build track test and answer calls and ? All hrs even take the time to draw out a wiring diagram in case they ever had problems or sold the car
I’m not sure I like you now. 😁 I had my next boat selection down to 3 and now I have to rethink it and add Falcon. The bad part for me is there is no Falcon dealer within 100 miles me. I like their philosophy on business and builds though.

My father has the number 6 boat ever made by Falcon, it is the F215 and it is the best riding rough water boat you will ever ride in, the only time you get wet is if the wind is over 25MPH. You need to get in one and it will blow your mind on how simple the boat is and the quality that is put into ever one made but the simplicity is what makes this boat the best boat I have ever been in.
That is why I enjoy watching Team Marine Service. I have been looking at Falcon because of B Lat and the are in the Carolina's as am I. I need to give them a call and see. Thank you Andy

I have a Falcon dealer close to were I live. Their 19’ is loaded for about 60k. They are great looking boats from top bottom.
In 2000 I bought a 19ft ranger new for 28,000$.
