I don't think people realize how much effort goes into shooting and editing a video like this. The skiing segment alone would have taken hours. Nice segue as u jumped from the van into your skis! The giant sequoia tress were amazing

I grew up not far from those trees. They are magnificent trees. I love that area. I am glad it is finally snowing significantly. It is much needed.

I certainly can’t recommend it enough! I would recommend visiting sequoia national park, it’s easier for mobility. This area is a little harder to access.

I think you’re right Everest. When fish is frozen it locks in the flavour; same with vegetables. I don’t have a problem with frozen food.
Sometimes fresh is nice but realistically, we have to stock up from time to time.

Those trees are amazing. Just seeing them with the camera you think "those are big", however, seeing you next to one and it's like "O-M-G those trees are HUGE". The sound of the snow is just amazinging. Your sking footage scares me sometimes - lol. Be safe out there.

First visit to your channel and loving the decor of your van. Especially the area when you open the side door. All makes sense the rack for your coat, hat and even gloves when you come in. The stair area that keeps the ‘snowy” boot in its on place and a nice warm footwear to walk about in the van as it keeps it clean. Just love the sliding door, back splash and just everything. Cute litle window above the sink. Dinner is looking great and making me hungry. Enjoy.

Thanks for another great video ! Oh, the reason for the lake trout and salmon similarities is that they both are of the same Salmonidae family. The taste comes from one being salt water grown mainly and the other all freshwater grown. A rainbow trout will grow to become a steelhead salmon as well for a little extra fun fact. Although a salmon is always a salmon from day one. However if a rainbow does not migrate to the sea it will remain a rainbow trout and not make that transformation to a steelhead.

My family loves watching my videos, so we’re all good there. I talk to them almost every day.
I’ve had quite a few encounters with animals but never had to deploy a weapon. Luckily I’ve only been false charged as a warning. But I’ve been within arms reach of bears, moose, elk, and porcupines!
Manyyyy animals have taken my food but never out of my tent. There was even a time an animal broke open an unopened plastic jug of milk I had buried under rocks in a river to keep cold.
When skiing in the backcountry, I carry an avalanche beacon that is relayed by nearly all equipped ski areas. Other than that, my phone has satellite capabilities for emergencies.

You should invest in windshield covers that go on the outside of your windshield that way you won't have to shovel it off. Just pull them off and a clear windshield, also get a pair of thermal socks for your windshield wipers cover them at night so they don't freeze

The Sierra's is definitely one of the greatest destinations ever. There is something about a forest in the winter that is truly magical. Those Sequoia's were so amazing to see . Keep up the good work. You are awesome💜🙏🏼

10:20 Eating out of the cooking pan is the 2nd most bachelor thing you can do. First being flipping your shirts inside out so you can avoid doing laundry as long as possible. It's not that you're cheap but because it's time efficient.

Just spray vinegar and water mix on dirty dishes after eating. Before grease solidified. Big water saver. Use Basket style ☕ filters as replacement paper towels for small jobs. cheap in bulk and save paper towels. No lint
