I always wondered if you could get a random non character related wand. Great vid.
I also got that wand the wand of Ash it chose me but I liked Harry Potter’s wand more. I also tried to make my interactive wand light up I guess its different.
$25? I got my non-interactive Sirius Black wand for like $56

I keep that little plastic tab in the slot (of the light-up wand) when I don't use it or carry around until night time then I take it out and keep it safe for later. :-)

If the interactive one had a small cap to cover the sensor it would be very awesome, that at the end is off putting to the non
My first wand choice was dumb, I chose the wand from my birth month (June) it was the most boring thing ever, it just had the handle the body and the end with the sensor
But then next year I went I got a different one and is the deatheater snake wand
LaserGuy my birthday wand was May and I didn’t like it, it was a prop tap a magic hat with a rabbit in it style wand. The shopkeeper was so awesome he in character waved his hands over the shelf lol and picked out another one for me, “I think I know just the wand for you” and I got the Ash in all black. I love it!
same I got oak wand because it's the one he gave me but it's like the worst one

I have a light up Harry Potter wand I got for my birthday today
I have an ash wand I got from Orlando more than a year ago and I noticed that it's not as dark in color as before and it looks like a "finish" of some sort is actually wearing off. Looking at yours I see that most of it has worn off as well. I do think that it's an interesting aspect to add, that your wand changes with wear, however now when I use it the wand feels almost sticky and I am left with black marks on my hands. I am thinking of replacing it, but is the "wear" feature common to other types of wands as well?
When I got mine, all black Ash, I was told the handle “patinas over time with use”
Where could you buy the light up wands?

in Universal Studios Florida going to the owl post (hogsmeade) or ollivanders (diagon alley)
ask for a repair, they will take the wand, wait 5 minutes till they give it back to you. i went there two weeks ago so i know want im talking about.
edit: i doesn't need to be the same day either
That's great, but this video was recorded in Hollywood, not Florida. We have a different set of rules and regulations that are not the same as Orlando's.

I can’t really tell if the one I got from usj is considered as authentic or a second different mould from the movie one since it’s not the non interactive one
They make Roman the only wand wood that never turns dark have a bloody skull on it seriously ?

Unfortunately, all of the wands in Florida are interactive.

Not all, they have interactive and non interactive non character wands

Do the sencirs take batteries
No batteries are needed. However, for the light wands , yes. But they are already in the wand so kids can use them when they open the box in the park.
What do I say when I want to get a non character based wand?

Where did you get the light up wand from I can tell you one thing he didn’t go to olivanders so don’t go to unerversual studios looking for a light up wand
I happen to work at Universal. So yes, I did get the light up wand at Ollivanders. Plus they also sell the wands in the Universal Studios Store.
