Great insight going for the 3rd city on 6 4 11 instead of 6 5 11. Awesome video, got the chills when the 11 rolled.
Nah I think its a mistake. 6-5-11 still gives him the extra brick, but he would have had much more sheep to 3-1 and still potentially be in the army race
@@adityagarg2185 at this point it didn't matter. Rather double the wood 4 and go for his winning road condition. Army would be 1-2 orbits away, which at that time of the game, would be too slow.

We realized he purposely stream snipes my games just to troll… he has done this multiple times.
Yeah, that was a total douchy/sabotage placement; however, it did give black an initial road and the two resources he didn't have, so there was at least some logic behind it.
Personally, I think Drew should have placed on the 8/4/10 for his initial settlement. I understood that he didn't have a good pair for that, which would include wool, but it was still just too good of a spot to leave out there IMO.

Was thinking you could have built down to the 9/4/11 ore before you hit that 7. Great game. Very lucky at the end, but a win is a win.

10:54 I think you go for the 8/4 since you already have the port and you need more ore than wheat to drop another city, which would be nice on the 6/5/11 once you have solid ore income
I am confused by your first pick. Why not 1084. I think you had great outs. Even 105 would pair well.. Can you elaborate?

Can you upload more losses dandy? I like to be kept on my toes for who may win, starting to feel like it’s 90% chance that if it’s uploaded you won
(Maybe it just feels that way as you play so good you just win this much lol)
I am very conscious of keeping a balance of wins and losses. Usually it’s a 2-3:1 ratio but not that systematic. Might have been skewed a tad recently with the lack of ranked content I’ve been actually playing but don’t worry… many losses on the way 😜
Hey dandy, is 1500 catan rating good after 10 placement games? I have a high winrate in ranked after 10 games (60%) and while I doubt this will hold, I just wanted to ask if this is an average experience during placement and it becomes much harder afterwards?
I think so. Really shouldn’t matter that much after your placement games. I have won 7/10 games before and ended up around 1450 for some reason. You also earn quite a bit of elo from your wins at this point so you should be able to climb quickly if you are good :)

shocked that blue didnt go for 4-5-10 and 6-4-11. wouldve been a really nice game for them that way. I suppose they thought that white might take the 9-10 and block their sheep port so they went for this instead but got their sheep port blocked either way.
Blue is literally a troll that comes on my stream to play against me and purposely throw games. Don’t expect much from him….

Seems like 8 4 was better. You got all resources. Dedicated port with max dedicated resource production. And you can still fight for the road possibly. Wheat has a lot of trade value on this board but I feel like raw resource production is usually batter than trades where you have to spend your cards to get anything.
I got the 84 with the 6411 just fine. Leaving 6411 for black is death to my position. Taking 84 is a good example of being overly focused on OWS as opposed to having a production setup that’s flexible.
@@dandydrew You were kinda lucky with 11, you wouldn't get there as fast as you did usually. But I agree with blocking the black argument. The setup would be too strong probably.

The thumbnails never match the board, it's kinda clickbaity. The games are cool to watch for the most part. I've been checking out the channel videos as I'm messing around with Catan but have to say, the misleading thumbnails are weird. Must be your thing, I guess.
