seamus didn't tell Harry he believed him until he read the article. He started acting as if he was leaning towards believing Harry after the breakout, but he didn't tell him until he read the article and then said he sent a copy to his mom
It was the Quibbler article, rather than the Azkaban breakout, that caused Seamus to apologize (and send a copy to his "mam"); that's in chapter 26. The interview happened on Saturday, February 14th, and the article came out on Monday, February 23rd - WAY after the breakout. The breakout happens in chapter 25, which was in January, because it was the day after Harry's first occlumency lesson, which was the first Monday of term. It didn't say the date that term started, but it was definitely in January (mentioned in chapters 24 and 25), and I'd say very likely early January. Also, it was ten Death Eaters, not twelve.
Can someone make a quiz "Is it wizarding or is it just British?" For J and Ben? I feel like that could be quite entertaining for the British viewers especially! Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks question 15 was wrong. Because Seamus even says hes going to send his mum a copy of the Quibbler so she can read Harry's interview!
Yeah I looked it up as soon as question 12 was answered and it is NEVER stated that the Weasley's had cancelled their subscription, only that Molly wouldn't find out about Weasley's Wizard Wheezes because she doesn't read it anymore. J definitely cheated quite a bit during this episode
Pretty sure it is after the publication of the quibbler's article that seamus believed him. I mean the interview is caused by the breakout, but it is really the publication of the article that made him believe Harry in my opnion
Ya Seamus still isn’t speaking to harry when he (harry) talks about how hard it was to have the interview to Neville and the others. Seamus listened intently eating his food but acted like he wasn’t. As far as I remember
Yep! That one was absolutely wrong. I went back to check because it was so completely off the mark that I was wondering how I could be remembering it so incorrectly... but I wasn't!

I don't know if we have the true answer for question 12. For one thing you say in the video the answer is Weasley and Longbotton, but your Survey Monkey told me Thomas and Longbottom, but neither answer seems good to me. I just read that part of Order, and from what I remember they never expressly say the Weasleys stopped taking the prophet, just that Molly dosen't read them anymore because of how they treat Harry and Dumbledore. It's my understanding that the family as whole still gets the prophet so that they can keep up. At least someone in the Order does. The Thomas answer might just have been a misclick from whoever imported the questions into Survey Monkey. Dean is Muggleborn and he specifically says he dosen't tell his family about anything bad happening at Hogwarts and that his parents dosen't get the prophet. The only ones that expressly says they've cancelled theirs is Neville (during this scene in the dormitory), and Harry (during breakfast, when he questions why Hermione is still taking it, he dosen't bother to anymore). Then later Seamus says his mum changed her mind, but I don't remember if she actually cancelled DP as well, haven't gotten there yet.
Yes! I was so confused lol. I haven't read Order of the Phoenix for a good few years so I can't remember a lot of direct moments from it; I thought it a bit odd that the Thomas family had a subscription since they were largely a Muggle family, but when my answer was flagged wrong and said it was Thomas and Longbottom, I figured Dean maybe had had a subscription himself. And maybe the Weasleys didn't cancel theirs so they could keep an eye on what was being said about Harry and Dumbledore.

Have you ever heard of a decent one who could talk to snakes? They called Slytherin himself Serpent-tongue" Hannah: "He always seems so nice, though, and, well, he's the one who made You-Know-Who disappear. He can't be all bad, can he?" When running a Strixhaven magic academy d&d game, one of the sessions I needed an activity for the students to do in Magical Physiologies. What I came up with on the spur of the moment was dissecting chocolate frogs. The organs were all made of sweets, so there was a good mix of white chocolate, dark chocolate, nougat, chocolate wafers for bones, etc.
Just once I'd like to see Kat wave in the reflexion of their glasses. Edit: Ben, you do know that most of the time we can't even see the number you write on your screen, right? 😂
I actually had that song stuck in my head the other day when I was taking a walk. There was an old man named Michael Finnegan. He had whiskers on his shin again. They grew out then grew in again. Poor old Michael Finn again begin again.
Kat the song/nursery rhyme you're thinking of is Michael Finnegan "There was an old man called Michael Finnegan He grew whiskers on his chin again Along came the wind and blew them in again Poor old Michael Finnegan Begin again"
34:23 I was actually having a terrible 'stuck in my head' kinda day & y'all's comedy had he chuckling again & was just smiling by the end, ty guys for being you! Top tier comedy!!
I wouldn't have given J a point for the egg question. The others didn't receive multiple eggs. The issue is that Hermione's 1 egg was smaller than the other's larger eggs.
Brit here, sugar mice are amazing when they were created it was a war of who could get the best looking sweets to bring in more customers. Mice were impressive but also simple to make.
Sugar mice are actually a kind of common candy in (Middle) Europe, but not as popular anymore. They are like firm marshmallow, and taste just sweet. So it's always been understandable to me for Flitwick to give Harry sugar mice, because they might have been part of his favourite sweets when he was younger.
The answer to the last question is incorrect. Seamus believes Harry after he reads the interview with Rita Skeeter for The Quibbler. The Azkaban breakout is what causes Neville to improve so quickly.
For Kangaroo Kat: There was an old man named Michael Finnegan He had whiskers on his chin-a-gen Along came the wind and blew them in again Poor, old Michael Finnegan, begin again
Lol omg I started watching this video and my daughter is literally watching Bluey at the same time and I was so confused when I heard 'This episode of Bluey is called" lol I thought I was caught up in the multiverse for a hot second
Shouldn’t the last answer be the quibbler interview? “I just wanted to say I believe you and I sent a copy of that magazine to me mum” the break out was the cause of the interview, but the apology was after.
Dawlish wasn't a death eater, he was an auror who remained loyal to the ministry during the second wizarding war, even though its takeover by Death Eaters. Despite being a good student (Outstanding on all NEWTs) and presumably a skilled wizard, he has a recurring storyline of constantly getting owned by Dumbledore (twice), Hagrid, members of the OOTP who put a confundus charm on him, Yaxley, Dirk Cresswell, and Neville's grandmother.
Dean never said, that his parents now read the Quibbler. He said, that his parents are muggles and don't know anything about dead people in Hogwarts. Seamus tells Harry that he believe him and send his mom the Quibbler after Harry's interview. But I'm pretty sure, he didn't believed him right after the escape. That is only in the movie, because there the interview never happened. Also only 10 death eaters escaped Azkaban. Not 12. And Hagrid gives at least points for Hermione answering questions in his class. So I guess, points for Harry aren't off the table.^^
"Who was the first of Harry's classmates to believe he didn't put his name in the Goblet?" Me, screaming at the screen: IT WAS HERMIONE!!! HERMIONE!!!!!!!
The answer to the last question was wrong, it’s the release of the Quibler interview when Seamus believes him, he even says after that he sent a copy of the interview to his mother afterwards.
I don't know whether it's an editor or our boys themselves, but seeing a My Cousin Vinny clip has instantly doubled my already substantial love of this channel.
IIRC they never actually say that Dawlish is a Death Eater or not. He just seems to be a boring, run-of-the-mill Yes Man for whomever holds his leash at the time. And also criminally incapable of resisting a Stunner.
23:57 Dean Thomas was in the group of muggle-borns when Ted Tonks says that The Quibbler is the only thing worth reading during The Deathly Hallows. Dean’s parents would never have subscribed to the Daily Prophet, being both muggles.
It would be awesome if you kept revisiting "What if Neville was the chosen one" every once in awhile to keep going through the years. I know it'll be a lot so I understand if it takes awhile but the beginning of that series was just so good!
I know the "Finnegan Begin Again" tune (though can't remember the entire thing). Also, I always thought and still do that Luna & Neville should've gotten married/together!
9:25 Kangaroo Kat is thinking of the nursery rhyme called "Michael Finnegan". It goes: "There once was a man named Michael Finnegan, he had some whiskers on his chin-egan. The wind blew them off, but they grew in again. Poor old Michael Finnegan, begin again!" It is typically sung in a lively polka melody, that gets progressively louder and faster as more verses are sung.
He actually is a half blood, but since he never knew his father, he has no confirmation during the last book. Therefore, he doesn’t know if he’s a half blood or muggleborn and has to go on the run. No hate. Just thought I’d clear this up
My school is putting on the play "Puffs" which is a spin-off unlicensed Harry Potter story about the Hufflepuff's in Harrys year. You guys kept brining up different Hufflepuff's and I was like, "Oh I know them". I also think that you guys should check Puffs out and do a review on it or smth cause its really funny Edit: Zach smith is a running gag character in Puffs and he's a big (pardon my french) doo-doo head
You make a good point, however the fight is caused because Harry wants Remus to go home and be there for his wife and child. Harry would have kept denying Remus come even if they didn't fight. Now had Tonks not been pregnant Harry may have allowed it.
@@fidelianerina I agree. I don't like "what if" scenarios that are just impossible, but this is very possible. Either Tonks would just not have gotten pregnant or Remus wouldn't mention it to Harry.
I know that "Good Old Michael Finnegan McGinnegan" song Kat was referencing, but it's been so long since I've heard it that I've also forgotten the words to it. It was fun hearing about it again though.
There was an old man named Michael Finnigan He had whiskers on his chinigan The wind blew em off but they grew in again Poor old Michael Finnigan - begin again...

What I came up with on the spur of the moment was dissecting chocolate frogs. The organs were all made of sweets, so there was a good mix of white chocolate, dark chocolate, nougat, chocolate wafers for bones, etc.
Michael Finnegan is the song that Kat was referring to. Then it somehow switched to The Billy 'O Tea. Both fun songs for sure!
Suger mice (none magical) are a traditional british sweet.
(Though not so common nowadays)
Question 12. Dean Thomas magic lineage comes from his dads side. Although Dean lives with his muggle mom, who probley doesnt get the prophet.
Kat the song/nursery rhyme you're thinking of is Michael Finnegan
"There was an old man called Michael Finnegan
He grew whiskers on his chin again
Along came the wind and blew them in again
Poor old Michael Finnegan
Begin again"
34:23 I was actually having a terrible 'stuck in my head' kinda day & y'all's comedy had he chuckling again & was just smiling by the end, ty guys for being you! Top tier comedy!!
Dean was fully on harrys side but his moms a muggle and he doesnt know who his dad is
I wouldn't have given J a point for the egg question. The others didn't receive multiple eggs. The issue is that Hermione's 1 egg was smaller than the other's larger eggs.
Brit here, sugar mice are amazing when they were created it was a war of who could get the best looking sweets to bring in more customers. Mice were impressive but also simple to make.
9:36 Billy O' Tea is the ship in the song Wellerman Come. I believe the Michael Finnigan song is an old repeating camp song.
I did Ravenclaw House proud, got a perfect score
It wasn't the Azkaban breakout. It was Harry's interview in the quibbler.
It was the breakout in the films but the Quibbler in the books
so it was the Quibbler then@@red5_skywalker
24:59 It’s ok J, I heard “answer familiar” too 😂
Jvsb is the one time a week I enjoy watching UA-cam. Nothing else on this platform is engaging anymore
Kk: "wait did you just say streaking?"
J: "Yeah you missed a lot in the last episode...."
Kk: "what?!?"
J: "I dont know what to tell you.."
😂😂😂😂😂😂
The answer to the last question is incorrect. Seamus believes Harry after he reads the interview with Rita Skeeter for The Quibbler. The Azkaban breakout is what causes Neville to improve so quickly.
I thought Neville started improving because he originally was using his dad's old wand?
@@gothelismyfave Dolohov breaks Neville’s Dad’s wand in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries
For Kangaroo Kat:
There was an old man named Michael Finnegan
He had whiskers on his chin-a-gen
Along came the wind and blew them in again
Poor, old Michael Finnegan, begin again
Lol omg I started watching this video and my daughter is literally watching Bluey at the same time and I was so confused when I heard 'This episode of Bluey is called" lol I thought I was caught up in the multiverse for a hot second
Shouldn’t the last answer be the quibbler interview? “I just wanted to say I believe you and I sent a copy of that magazine to me mum” the break out was the cause of the interview, but the apology was after.
Not sure if I'm missing an inside joke, but I do admire Ben's intermittent cursive
7:59 lol the question is, do you want Finnick’s outfit?
I cannot explain just how happy I am to see cake back in the ad reads! Even though it always makes me want a decadent cake.
This episode of Bluey is Awesome
Percy is Junior Undersecretary to the Minister. So right below Umbridge
"Who was the first of Harry's classmates to believe he didn't put his name in the Goblet?"
Me, screaming at the screen: IT WAS HERMIONE!!! HERMIONE!!!!!!!
The answer to the last question was wrong, it’s the release of the Quibler interview when Seamus believes him, he even says after that he sent a copy of the interview to his mother afterwards.
And now both Ben and J got a full point win! Congrats J!
I don't know whether it's an editor or our boys themselves, but seeing a My Cousin Vinny clip has instantly doubled my already substantial love of this channel.
21:39 "Wow. Wow wow wow." - Pitch Meeting flashback 😂 Iykyk
Sugar mice are real sweets in the UK 7:51
Sugar mice are a real treat in the UK!! They're not just from the wizarding world 😊
Happened to be listening to Order of the Phoenix, it was 10 that broke out of Azkaban. Chapter 25: The Beetle at Bay
I am one of the people thinking "this is top tier comedy" at the end because of all the in-channel jokes!
Lunas earings are not raddishes. They are actually dirigible plums ☺️
In the UK we legit have sugar mice sweets, been around since the victorian times... 1800's
😂 A personal assistant is a very different job than an assistant.
I feel like the JVB’s have been closer in points lately. It’s keeping me on the edge of my seat
I think Hannah Abbot's only words in the books are in Chamber when Harry overhears them speculating about him being the heir
Rest in Peace Michael Gambon 😢😢
The correct answer for the last question is - After the Quibbler interview and its definitely 10 death eaters, not 12.
Don't you just love it when the limitations of technology gives you a half point more? XD
I love your (what ifs) and J vs Ben videos.😁
3:42 Molly Wobbles is actually the nickname Molly gave Mr. Weasley-
Dean Thomas is muggleborn! How did they miss this
He actually is a half blood, but since he never knew his father, he has no confirmation during the last book. Therefore, he doesn’t know if he’s a half blood or muggleborn and has to go on the run. No hate. Just thought I’d clear this up
Kangaroo Kat is bloody awesome. Loving your work guys!
My school is putting on the play "Puffs" which is a spin-off unlicensed Harry Potter story about the Hufflepuff's in Harrys year. You guys kept brining up different Hufflepuff's and I was like, "Oh I know them".
I also think that you guys should check Puffs out and do a review on it or smth cause its really funny
Edit: Zach smith is a running gag character in Puffs and he's a big (pardon my french) doo-doo head
What if Remus never had a fight with Harry and joined the Horcrux hunt?
This would be a really good theory to explore!!!
Btw guys, sugar mice aren’t a magical thing they’re just a British thing
These uploads have become apart of my routine 🎉❤
There was an old man named Michael Finnigan
He had whiskers on his chinigan
The wind blew em off but they grew in again
Poor old Michael Finnigan - begin again...
The video and battle were amazing! Please to Elemental soon guys!😊😊😊😊😊
yes they said in the last trivia stream that they had reviews planned for elemental and across the spider-verse but that was like 2 or 3 months ago
The amount of times I need to rewind and enter slowmo to get the quick editor notes is so high I. The JvB's!
I was singing Michael Finnegan along with you, Kat! It is sooooooo freaking catchy!
